It's been a year since he was captured, which means Oko was turning 4 soon, and he was 9 years old since about two months ago.
Then they entered and picked him up, and tortured him more.
After that, he actually had energy to move.
He decided to try and stand up, which worked.
He walked around where he was in, which was a small cubic room.
It was about 7 feet by 7 feet on all dimensions.
It had enough room.
There was a door with a slit for the food tray in.
In it's window, it was barred up.
He saw people walking around outside the cell, and they looked exactly like the guys who beat him up every day.
He saw a few books in the corner of the room, and walked over to it.
He picked one up, titled "The man with no mouth."
He began reading it for hours and hours.
It had over 1000 pages and wasn't an easy read by any means.
He put down the book after awhile and fell asleep.
The next day, the people didn't come back.
And the day after that.
He still got food, but no torture.
Until a week later.
Then the proccess restarted.
The hit him with metal pipes, bats, clubs, guns, whips, everything.
Sure, it hurt like hell, but he was able to ignore it by thinking about his family instead of what was happening.
Especially Oko.
He hoped that by all means she was alive and had found somewhere to stay.
And before he knew it, he was tossed back into his cell.
He sighed and went back to sleep.
