Chapter 51 - Chapter 51 - The Mobile Greenhouse

Inside the library, Felix rubbed his forehead furiously as he looked over a few letters. In the end, he just tossed them to the side. Over the last few months and since that Quidditch game where he decided to build Chastiefol. He has been looking for the materials, especially the near legend material from the Sacred Tree.

There has actually been some spotted through history, granted the ones discovered were considered sapling. Since each time one is discovered, be it wizards or non-magicals, they rush to grab a piece of it.

When he attempted to buy one, he found a few willing to sell, but the price they asked for was sky high. The amount of gold they want for a piece for a palm size is even more unbelievable and if not gold, they wanted just as rare materials or magic.

If there was enough material, he wouldn't mind just finding some strange spell and trading. However, the small piece was next to useless on what he needed it for. So, he didn't even entertain the thought and decided to go the way he didn't really want to go.

The plan to grow his own tree.

So pulling out a notebook from his bag, the cover read "Mobile Greenhouse". Where he flipped it open to the material and magic involved. While the material wasn't too much since most of it was fairly easy to get. Since he has most of it on hand in his pile of material already, but the magic on the other hand was the more tricky part.

The magic wasn't as complicated as Mirror of Galadriel, but it wasn't simple either. So after studying it for a while, he tapped his finger as he thought it over. He will need to practice some of the spells involved a couple times, but it should be fine.

He will also need to try his hand at a bit of time magic. The plants inside will grow much quicker. So, after thinking for a while, he stood up and left the library and headed to the room he and his friend used.

--

"Did you get into making miniature models?"

Looking up, Felix saw Albus Dumbledore looking at him as he strolled into the room. His colorful robe once more clashed with the castle walls as his long silver beard swayed with each step. So upon seeing him, Felix looked at the time and date.

"I thought our next lesson wasn't for another couple days?" Felix asked with a bit of confusion.

"It's not about our lessons." Dumbledore found a seat where Angel usually did her own thing.

When she wasn't practicing her dueling skills, Angel recently was into magic circles again. So the table was covered into various magic circles she was studying, making or breaking down. Which the headmaster just shifted his attention at before focusing back on Felix.

"It's not so much a mini model, but a mini project of mine." Felix answered. "So what can I help you with?"

"It has been brought to my attention quite a few times about a recent project of yours. A weapon described as one of the universe's strongest." Dumbledore let out a tired sigh. "So, what can you tell me about this weapon?"

"Is it a student or a professor asking?" Felix asked.

Dumbledore didn't answer nor give away which it was. However, since he said it was repeatedly brought to his attention, Felix leaned more towards a professor or a few of them. Only they seem to care anymore about what he is up to when not writing books they ask him to write.

"Fine, the so-called weapon is more of a tool. Sort of like a wand for a wizard, it can be used for good or it can be used for terror." Felix answered.

"I figured as much." Dumbledore nodded. "So what is it?"

Felix just pulled out a comic book with Green Lantern printed boldly on the cover. There a green ring was displayed.

Dumbledore simply took it and looked it over before shifting his attention back to Felix for a moment. Shifting his attention between the two, he just gave a confused look. Since he didn't expect the project that got his professors so worked up is coming from a comic book.

"Well, I got what I needed. Continue as you were." Dumbledore seemed to sigh.

Felix just looked at Dumbledore retreating back, before tossing the strange visit out of his mind.

--

A few days passed by quickly and besides a few near accidents of creating a time bubble. Where time would flow very quickly like it was some sort of Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Felix after a few tries and patients managed to enchant his mobile greenhouse.

After which, he began preparing the Sacred Tree Sapling which was more him using alchemy and herbology to create one. Poor Hagrid was greatly troubled as Felix kept asking for various saplings and strange materials. Luckily the game keeper was friendly and just asked to see what he making afterwards.

During which, Felix also began to make some farming golems to tend to the greenhouse. Due to the quick growth of plants inside. It needs someone to tend to them and since he plans to grow more rare or needed plants he usually needs. So due to the time flow, he decided to make farming golems as time won't affect them too much.

"Felix, if I wasn't helping you with the Green Lantern Ring, would it already be done?" John asked hesitantly after seeing the mobile greenhouse.

"Why do you ask?" Felix asked a question in return.

In truth he didn't know nor really cared. He likes working on projects with his friend and if it took longer to finish then so be it. Besides, John may not have notice, but when creating the Construct framework for the ring. His skill in transfiguration rapidly improved.

"You made something this complex in about a week." John pointed out.

"It's not really complex, it's pretty straight forward actually." Felix commented.

Felix felt he might have said something wrong with the way his friend stared at him. Which made him back away a bit. John looked ready to strangle someone and since he was the only one nearby it probably would be him.

"Are you really a thirteen year old and not some old monster who became a child again in an accident?" John asked.

"Yeah." Felix nodded.

John just glared at him.

So shifting topics, John decided to ask about the sapling inside. "So what kind of tree are you growing inside?"

"My freshly made Sacred Tree. While a few popped up in history, wizards and non magicals tend to pick them before they can grow." Felix said proudly. "In about five weeks or so, it should grow into a young tree and start producing water that is very unique. Liking will extend one life by ten years, a mouthful by a century and drinking a glass will give immortality."

While the time flow was very quick at the moment, he would dial it back once the tree grew enough. Since he really didn't want to wait a century or three on the tree to grow to make the Chastiefol. The Fountain of Youth however is just a byproduct thought and he is not very interested in it.

"Did you make it for that water to extend life? Don't you have plenty of otherways already?" John asked, not impressed.

"It's actually a byproduct this time." Felix looked away. "I need a mature branch to make what I really want."

"What do you want to do with the branch?"

"Make a floating pillow." Felix replied honestly.

He watched John put his face into his hands as he walked away leaving him confused. Felix didn't understand why his friend was reacting like this. So what if he went through all this trouble to make a pillow.

"Maybe he is jealous that he didn't think of it first."

Felix nodded to himself like he solved the mystery.
