Thea rushed to wake Chantelle and said anxiously, "Daniel is missing!"
Chantelle, still half asleep, mumbled, "So? He'll come back eventually, so don't worry."
"No! Philip called me a minute ago and said he couldn't reach Daniel. He sounded really worried." Thea pulled Chantelle out of bed and even tried to force her eyes open.
Chantelle sat up and rubbed her face. "Ashton and his men are probably looking for him already. He'll be fine."
"Aren't you even a little worried?" Thea asked, clearly more anxious than her.
Chantelle smiled and got out of bed. "Come on, it's Daniel Wilson. Wherever he goes, he makes a scene. What could really happen to him?"
"You're right, he'll be fine since he had his men around him." Thea felt relieved and went back to working on her gowns.
Chantelle wasn't calm because she trusted Daniel's skills, but because she had asked Thirteen to follow Trenton secretly and report all his activities.
