Oscar looked at Chantelle with an apologetic glance. "Sorry. Camille's still a spoiled little girl."
"She needs to learn to take responsibility for what she says and does," Chantelle replied wearily, then walked out of the hospital.
But as soon as she got into the car, Chantelle straightened her back.
She wasn't a little girl anymore. She wouldn't let emotions shake her so easily.
"Ms. Chantelle, I looked into the report Roman gave us. It's real. Joseph is putting a lot of resources behind it," Calvin said. He noticed the sharp look in her eyes and the color returning to her face. Whatever had been bothering her earlier was clearly gone now.
"If that's true, then let's challenge him this time." A sly smile appeared at the corner of Chantelle's lips.
"Are you thinking of starting a business here?" Calvin asked, clearly concerned.
"You don't think it'll work?" Chantelle asked. She didn't expect Calvin to question her plan.
