Chapter 313: Lord Megatron! One Win, One Loss—Records Available!

After Megatronus entrepreneurial venture on Earth failed spectacularly—resulting in the complete confiscation of his startup funds—the civil war on Cybertron broke out in full force.

On one side stood Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots; on the other, Megatron, the head of the Decepticons. The two sides were locked in a fierce battle over the AllSpark.

When it came to fighting for their inheritance, Megatron—who had honed his skills in the gladiatorial arenas—clearly outmatched most Autobots. Under his leadership, the Decepticons quickly gained the upper hand in the war.

Acting on the principle of "If I can't have it, neither can you," the Autobots' second-in-command, hurled the AllSpark into deep space.

As for Optimus Prime himself, he piloted the Ark alone in pursuit of the AllSpark.

The Autobots' original plan had been for the other primes to stay behind and continue battling Megatron on Cybertron, while Optimus Prime would recover the AllSpark. This way, by splitting their forces, they could prevent the Decepticons from claiming it.

As long as the war dragged on, the Decepticons—deprived of the AllSpark—would gradually weaken and deteriorate.

However, Optimus Prime suddenly proposed a different idea: after retrieving the AllSpark, why not seek out a new planet and start over?

Cybertron had already been ravaged beyond repair by the war, making it an unsuitable home. Relocating to a new world seemed like the wiser choice.

Yet this proposal was met with strong opposition from all sides. The Autobots had a deep attachment to Cybertron and were unwilling to abandon their home.

Even the other Primes, who had always supported Optimus Prime, couldn't accept this idea. As Sentinel Prime was piloting the Ark in pursuit of the AllSpark, the ark was hit by a stray shot that destroyed the Ark's faster-than-light engine.

As a result, the Ark was left drifting aimlessly through space at sub-light speeds, falling farther and farther behind the AllSpark.

In the end, neither faction secured the AllSpark.

By a twist of fate, the AllSpark eventually crash-landed on Earth. Megatron, following its trail, arrived on Earth—only for his luck to turn utterly disastrous. He landed in the Arctic.

In the extreme cold and already disoriented, Megatron was struck by a falling meteorite, which buried him deep in the ice, sealing him away.

Back on Cybertron, with Shockwave and Starscream now leading the Decepticons, their combat prowess remained formidable. Ultimately, they secured victory in the war.

However, this victory came at a steep price—Cybertron's environment deteriorated even further, rendering the planet completely uninhabitable.

If Cybertron had previously been reduced from a grand mansion to a slum, it was now nothing but crumbling ruins. When it rained outside, it rained inside—no one could live there anymore.

As a result, a massive exodus began. Cybertronians fled into the galaxy, becoming cosmic nomads.

Meanwhile, on Earth, the long-prepared Creators—led by Quintessa—began setting their plan in motion. They awakened the twelve Guardian Knights sealed on Earth, intending to restore Cybertron and revive Primus.

To awaken Primus, they planned to use Quintessa's staff to drain Earth of all its energy and transfer it to Cybertron.

Cybertron is the embodiment of Primus, while Earth is the embodiment of Unicron. Only a celestial body of equivalent power could provide sufficient energy to awaken Primus.

In other words, they sought to drain Unicron's energy to resurrect Primus. Quintessa's goal mirrored that of Lord Megatron.

Both sought to ruthlessly siphon Unicron's power to achieve their own ends.

Clearly, Unicron's standing was inferior to Primus'. Not only did he lose in direct combat, but he also lacked contingency plans.

Unicron had gone to great lengths to sway and recruit a rogue Transformer, yet this rogue wasn't even trying to resurrect Unicron—instead, he was obsessed with entrepreneurship, focused solely on harvesting energy to build startup capital.

Quintessa's strategy and execution were flawless, but her plan would inevitably lead to Earth's destruction.

The twelve Guardian Knights, born on Earth, could not condone Quintessa's intentions. Though she was their creator, Earth was their nurturer.

Faced with a conflict between their "birth mother" and their "adoptive mother," the Knights chose the latter—just as any rational being would.

In the end, the Knights betrayed Quintessa and stole her staff, causing her plan to fail. She was forced to abandon Earth.

Afterward, the twelve Knights remained on Earth, protecting humanity. They became the legendary Knights of the Round Table, standing by humanity through every pivotal moment in history.

By 1934, the U.S. Seventh Sector discovered the unlucky, frozen Megatron in the Arctic. By reverse-engineering his technology, they propelled American scientific advancement at an unprecedented pace.

This is a crucial piece of foreshadowing.

In the Transformers universe, the reason why modern human machines and electronics instantly turn into aggressive "Decepticons" when exposed to the AllSpark—instead of Autobots—is because all of humanity's technology is built upon Megatron's designs.

In the 1990s, the battered, aging Ark—piloted by the drifting Sentinel Prime, with no propulsion save for momentum—finally crash-landed on the Moon.

The resulting impact spurred the U.S.-Soviet space race, but the Decepticons arrived first.

These relentless Decepticons salvaged the Ark's power cells and prepared to wage a new war on Earth—while also searching for their long-lost leader, Megatron.

Thus, the Autobots and Decepticons both descended upon Earth, igniting a new phase of their struggle over the AllSpark. This is the entire origin of the Transformers universe!

One could say that in the Transformers universe, humanity has been caught between the forces of Cybertronians, the Creator civilization, and various ambitious villains from the very beginning.

Humanity has had virtually no agency.

The survival of Earth and human civilization depends entirely on the balance of power.

Should the Creators choose to act ruthlessly, or should Lord Megatron rally more allies, Earth could be drained of its energy at any moment—and fragile humanity would vanish in an instant.

With this in mind, Li Ang felt even more convinced that humanity in the Transformers universe desperately needed the intervention of Universal Megacorp. Without such support, humanity would inevitably perish in the crossfire of the Transformers' conflicts.

"As long as the Supreme Guardian doesn't show up, there's still a strong chance for Universal Megacorp to unify everything," Li Ang mused.

The Transformers universe, like Halo, also has an origin akin to the Forerunners. But just like the Precursors, the Supreme Guardian disappeared after completing its task of creation.

As a result, the Transformers universe is now a pure free-for-all.

Might makes right.

Whether Universal Megacorp can successfully unify the Transformers galaxy remains uncertain. After all, Primus and Unicron have scattered countless civilizations across the stars over billions of years.

If Universal Megacorp were to simply attempt a brute-force conquest, it would take a very long time.

But brute force has never been Li Ang's style—he already had a plan.

By securing alliances with the most critical factions, he could leverage their power to his advantage.

For instance, the descendants of Primus—the Cybertronians—and the Creators, who are Primus' designated allies.

Once these factions were brought to heel, they could be used much like the Covenant—working toward the unification goal on behalf of Universal Megacorp .

In short, as long as Li Ang found the right moment to intervene, he could seize the opportunity and achieve unification at minimal cost.

After finalizing the overall plan, Li Ang immediately instructed AI Loki to summon senior executives from all divisions of the Megacorp, preparing to discuss the upcoming campaign in the Transformers universe.

...

...

Half a month later.

Main Universe — Multiverse Base Headquarters, Stargate Zone!

"Third squad of the advance reconnaissance team, proceed to the designated staging area."

"All relevant personnel from each division, please complete your final checks. The Stargate is about to open!"

"Repeating the message…"

At present, the Multiverse Base had already established a complex yet orderly network of maglev tracks, used to connect frontline bases across various universes.

In the newly activated Stargate zone, a massive gate—measuring a full kilometer in length, width, and height—stood towering at one end of the Multiverse Base.

To accommodate future Stargates, the base's original design had reserved a spacious zone capable of holding over a hundred gates.

But so far, only six Stargates had been opened—including this one leading to the Transformers universe.

It still occupied less than ten percent of the planned capacity.

As the gate officially opened, reconnaissance teams waiting in the staging area began passing through.

AI drones and clone soldiers were sent ahead to conduct a preliminary survey of the world beyond the gate.

Once conditions were confirmed on the other side, members of the Multiverse Advance Force would cross through and proceed with their standard operations—building frontline bases, patrolling, and formulating combat plans as part of the integration effort.

Hoo—!

Li Ang let out a small breath of relief.

Over the past few weeks, he had held extensive meetings with division heads to coordinate the Transformers universe integration operation.

For this mission, he couldn't afford to take a hands-off approach like he did during Dune; this one required a much greater degree of direct oversight.

Li Ang needed to keep a close eye on how the situation evolved.

With that, he turned from the observation platform and began walking toward Headquarters. It had been one or two years since he had last personally taken the field at HQ!

This time, in addition to deploying a full array of heavy warships, Megacorp was also fielding the Prometheus Corps of the Preachers, along with an assortment of Pacific Rim-series Jaegers!

That's right—in recent years, the corporation's R&D division had never stopped working on improving the Jaegers, seeking to further enhance these massive combat machines.

Now, in the Transformers universe integration campaign, this batch of Jaegers would finally be tested in battle!

On the way to HQ, his Chief of Staff Lucy briefed Li Ang on the latest developments in the Dune universe.

First, Governor Song Zhaomei was overseeing the transformation of Kaitain into a new ideal city, slated for official completion in four years.

Meanwhile, the first batch of genetically modified and specially trained Fremen had been handed over to Song for use in military operations within the Dune universe.

These Fremen, enhanced through spice treatments and gene seed modifications, now possessed a range of extraordinary abilities—marking the first special-abilities troops produced by the corporation.

After hearing Lucy's report, Li Ang nodded without comment.

Once inside the HQ command center, seated at the central control console, he finally felt that familiar sense of operational control. He was back!

The layout of the Multiverse Base Command Center hadn't changed. All equipment remained exactly where he remembered it—precisely arranged for optimal efficiency.

When Li Ang and Lucy arrived at the second level of the control console, he used the hovering hard-light screen to observe live footage from Universe-006, the Transformers universe.

AI Scorpiodrone UAVs transmitted real-time visuals from the frontlines back to HQ. On the other side of the gate, Li Ang saw a familiar sight—Earth.

...

At that moment—Earth, Transformers universe.

The Pentagon was under full lockdown.

Not long ago, one of their Ford-class aircraft carriers had been struck by an attack from beyond Earth's atmosphere.

The entire ship exploded in a fiery blast. Every single crew member aboard perished—zero survivors.

The sudden and devastating assault had rocked every branch of the U.S. military. It was an unprecedented loss and a shocking event throughout the armed forces.

To this day, they still had no idea who was behind the attack.

But that mystery would soon be resolved—thanks to a new arrival who had just broken free from his sarcophagus: The Fallen.

[Pathetic and fragile humans of Earth, it seems you remain mired in your own arrogant delusions of supremacy.]

At that moment, the global communications network was hijacked by The Fallen. All over the world—in shopping malls, on television screens, and across digital billboards—a long, narrow, black mechanical face appeared.

He had originally been sealed away, but the disorganized Decepticons had recently released him.

Now, The Fallen and his entrepreneurial-minded Decepticon followers were launching a fresh bid for funding.

[Know this: You are not alone in this universe. We are already here, among you, and everywhere.]

The Fallen's crimson eyes gleamed with a manic, malevolent glint. This was the moment to lay down a show of force.

[You will surrender this boy to me—or face annihilation!]

At those words, screens worldwide displayed a photo of a boy—Sam Witwicky, protagonist of Transformers.

Sam had come into contact with the AllSpark and knew the location of the Matrix of Leadership.

If The Fallen was to restart his business venture, he first needed to capture Sam and extract the location of the Matrix.

The Fallen had already rigged the Sun with explosive devices.

As soon as he recovered the key—the Matrix—he could resume his abandoned startup and harvest the energy he required.

Human casualties? Irrelevant.

As the first disciple of the Primus, The Fallen was well aware of his master's record of cosmic seeding.

To him, the Creators were the true pride of the Primus' work.

Humans? Mere stinking apes. Their extinction would be of no consequence.

At present, The Fallen was supremely arrogant—he held no regard whatsoever for Earth's humans.

Meanwhile, Decepticon forces were wreaking havoc across the globe—terrorizing humanity in an effort to coerce them into handing over Sam.

After terminating the broadcast, The Fallen gazed down upon Earth from orbit.

Freshly "bailed out" of his sarcophagus by the Decepticons, he was quite pleased with himself.

Remembering the six Primal Elders he had slain, The Fallen let out a derisive chuckle.

"Heh heh heh…"

"Six pathetic fools. Sacrificing themselves for this planet and its primitive humans… such futility. I own this world now. Without the Prime present, who can stop me?"

The Fallen's confidence was not unfounded. Having fought alongside Unicron, faced the Primus and the 13 Apostles, and later bested six Primal Elders (with a record of one win, one loss), his combat prowess was undeniably elite.

On paper, he ranked just below the Primus and Unicron. Otherwise, Unicron wouldn't have worked so hard to recruit him.

"Giving your lives for these lowly, foolish creatures—what utter stupidity!"

The Fallen laughed uproariously.

He knew humanity well. At their core, they were frail monkeys whose modern technology was reverse-engineered from Megatron.

By contrast, the Transformers—descendants of Pangu himself—possessed both powerful physical forms and advanced technological civilization.

Once the Decepticons inflicted enough destruction and casualties on Earth, humanity would surely bow before him.

And even if they resisted, once the Decepticons seized control of Earth's satellite network, they would easily locate Sam.

In short—Earth would be destroyed regardless. This was merely step one in building The Fallen's new empire.

But just then, a transmission signal suddenly interrupted The Fallen's ship's display screen.

In place of Earth's imagery, an unfamiliar environment appeared.

Judging from the surroundings and equipment, it looked like the interior of a spacecraft!

[Universal Megacorp has officially assumed full authority over Earth. Planetary defense is now under Megacorp jurisdiction.]

[All Decepticons are hereby ordered to cease their attacks and vacate Earth immediately—or face the consequences!]

Aboard the wanderer-class, docked in a thousand-meter canyon somewhere on Earth, V's voice was calm and commanding.

Recognizing the gravity of this mission, Li Ang had personally assigned V as the commander-in-chief of the Transformers universe integration operation.

Upon seeing this, The Fallen's mechanical face visibly twisted in confusion.

He had no idea who this man was, nor what this "Megacorp" was supposed to be.

But facial scans confirmed that V was human.

A mere human—what was there to fear? Did these feeble insects really think they could intimidate him?

"You command us to leave Earth? Hah! Who do you think you are?"

"With your laughable nukes and toy-like warships? Ridiculous!"

The Fallen had already scoured Earth's data. No record of any so-called Megacorp existed.
