It's been a while since we last spoke face to face, and I'm a bit worried. How long has it been, was it four or five weeks?
The content in the letters was Adam addressing that he was definitely getting imprisoned.
It said this letter would be send to his great friend Gabriel only if he gets arrested. It seemed that he had a reliable person to send this to me then
As I finished reading this letter my friend send me it all made sense. It seems Adam has gotten himself into trouble.
I put the letter down, and rubbed my eyes, I have no words. Why is he in prison and why did he put himself in that situation?
I now understand everything or most of it, I didn't expect him to do such a thing. Can I blame him for doing this, well yeah I could.
I can't believe that only five minutes ago I was clueless to his situation. It's a hot day, and I was getting ready to work again.
I remember I was drinking a bit in the shade, I was sweating, but I couldn't do anything about it. I remember when my name was called by a stranger.
The man walked up to me, and introduced himself as Samuel. He said Adam wanted me to have this letter urgently after a specific event happened.
At that time I was just confused, and a bit glad that I received another letter from him. I should of been worried as Samuel's face was distressed .
I just can't believe how speechless I am at the moment. I didn't know he had it in him to go against the law, but I didn't know him enough to guess his personality.
The letter addressed this would be his second arrest which I didn't know. Why didn't he tell me this beforehand? Does he think I'll hate him for it?
I'm sitting down with the letter next to me, I never expected this to happen. No, let me think a bit more.
It's hot and I can't concentrate correctly, Adam had his reasons. Yeah it was bad that he got his work cut short, but still can I really help justify it.
Adam send me this letter because he trusts that I can help him but how could I?
I just sat there thinking for a while, the sun still blazing. I had already finished my drink, but I had work to do. Can I put it to the side to help out my friend?
Well am I supposed to convince people that he is innocent? Yeah I think that's what he wants me to do.
He wants me a normal man to tell everyone that the government unjustifiably arrested him.
I just shrug as I don't really know what Adam sees in me. I'm not saying I'm incompetent, but to do something to this extent is a bit to much to ask.
Adam was arrested due to trespassing, and other things I'm sure they made up. I guess I have to start somewhere but it won't be easy.
I stood up and walked to a nearby cart where my father was. "Father, I will be out for a while, I need to visit a friend." I said.
"Yeah sure son, don't be gone for to long as I still need your help. I'm getting old, and I need your strength to carry these items latter."
"Thanks father, I'll be back as soon as I can." I said as I turned and left, I'm glad my father was understanding.

After a short travel that was unnecessarily difficult due to the heat, I made it. Adam spoke about the area that was being turned into a port.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad as I could get a job there, and be near Adam. As I approach the district I saw it, I was impressed by how it looked.
To say that he did a great job in an understatement, it was as if it wasn't barren at all. The way Adam described the land before he worked on it made it look more impressive.
"Hey, you can't be here, this is private federal property." I looked to my right, and saw an officer approaching me.
"Oh, sorry I was just staring that's all." I said as he got closer to me, "I'm not here to cause any trouble, I was just mesmerized by the view."
"Alright then, just get out of here as we don't want problems. Unlike someone else who didn't listen."
"So what happend to the guy that was leading a project befor this one? I heard he was arrested." I asked wanting to know more.
"Oh that man, it's a shame I thought he was smart. He was just stupid, and I don't understand how he was hired in the first place."
"Yeah right…I heard some rumors he was just a front man, a stunt. To make this port gain more attraction or whatever these rumors are about. I know you and I don't believe it, but it's ridiculous that people believe it." I said trying to not seem suspicious.
I then left after the officer stopped suspecting, I really want to see him again. As I left I had something else on me, something Adam told me to bring.
How will I make Adam get out of this? What's the best way to get the people attention? I have to have the reporters on my side, and force the government to free him.
I need a way to prove this area is ready for farming but how would I that? Do I just ask people to start planting? That's not going to work but it's and idea.
I guess I just have to make something up, people must be suspicious as to why Adam was trespassing the land. That is my only easy option, try to prove the land is farmable, and Adam was in the right.
As I entered the district I was a bit surprised by how some people weren't looking to happy. I would of thought this was just a bad day, but some of them were speaking of Adam.
I didn't know Adam was this popular, this is great for me as they would most definitely believe in his innocence.
Adam isn't one to brag at all so all of his popularity was due to his hard work. If only he saw how much people appreciate his work then he would of been les6 petty.
I approached a man. "Hey, so how do you feel about Mr. Ceborati's arest? I just recently heard about it and I'm honestly shocked." I said waiting to see how much they cared about this.
"Yeah I know, it was surprising to me as well, that man is a good one. His arrest was unjustified just like how his project was cancelled. I believe he could of done it, and so did all of my family."
"That's great to hear as I also believe in that, I'm glad there are some people who know he isn't a criminal."
"Yeah that's also great as I never would of thought of a reason for why he was arrested. I guess he knows something we don't, but that's just speculation."
"Well I have to go as I have some other things to do, I'm glad that you're on the right side of the conflict." I said.
This might be not to bad as I'm assuming people do belive in Adam.
I decided to rent a room for the time being, I'll be making a plan to help him. Since Adam was caught for the second time there is a chance I won't be able to inspect the crops.
Security must be much higher now as they might be fearing people will investigate the area. Adam's life is on the line, and I can't mess it up. If I get caught then he will rot in jails forever.
If I did get caught, Adam would be dissatisfied with himself as he would blame himself for my arrest which is true. I'll just have to wait it out, and make my plan seem solid first.
After it was past midnight I decided this was the time. I'm a bit scared to do this so I'll make sure that I won't make a mistake.
I left the room, and I was walking around the area as quietly as I could. I don't know why because some people are outside, but I guess it's my nerves acting.
As I approached the area where the port was being build I noticed it. There were a bunch of people there guarding the area so this means I have to back away.
What a shame, I wanted to do this, but I just can't risk something like that. Too many people are there, and I'm a commoner so I won't have the same treatment as Adam if it was any good.
I sighed in defeat, and decided to return back inside the district. As I sadly began walking back to my room I saw a poster on a wall.
The poster was about Adam and it was blatantly insulting Adam. The poster was calling him a shameful man who failed the people and the government.
The poster also spoke about how Adam was being bitter about his project being called. It talked like Adam had malicious intent as he was still considered an outsider.
I don't know why but I justifiably got angry, but before I could think I grabbed the poster and ripped it off. .
"Why are posters like these making fun of those who really are doing what's best for the people?" I murmured as I threw the poster in the garbage.
I then grabbed a piece of paper, and began writing something. I decided to write about how Adam was indeed an honorable man that was falsely arrested.
I then placed it on the wall where the original poster was. I smiled as I hope this will reach out the right kind of people. I then began leaving as I thought about this being my other option.

It's very dark, it's much colder than the previous cell. I was blindfolded, and placed in shackles.
Even though I'm in a terrible situation I couldn't help but chuckle softly. I don't know why I'm chuckling, but it's one of the only things I can do now.
"Geez, to think you have gone crazy already. I didn't know you were this weak." That was the voice of him, G.O and he was watching me.
"Oh it's nothing, I'm just having a great time that's all, I'm glad you're visiting me daily. This place is ugly or so I think since I can't see but it's nice having someone to talk to." I said.
I don't know if I'm even staring at him or not, but I think I am. I just smile, and I can imagine he isn't happy at all.
"So if I may ask, how are the people viewing this arrest of mines? You know it as much as they do that it was unjustified."
He didn't respond to me at all which I took as a sign that I was right. "May I ask once again, why am I blindfolded?" I was genuinely confused.
"I won't tell you and I won't budge either, just give it up already." He was definitely pissed off.
It was a struggle to not smirk at the fact he was angry, but I stayed strong.
"Hey, I don't feel too comfortable like this at all, I lost a bit of weight, and I don't have great memories with that. I don't want to experience it again, and it's already making me feel awful."
"We won't keep you here forever Ceborati, it's only going to be for a while. We won't kill you or torture you at all."
I doubted him a ,bit but I want to belive him in that at least.
"You're safe inside of here, and we won't allow you to kill youself either. As long as you're compliant, nothing bad will happen."
"Don't worry I won't cause any trouble as I'm overstaying my visit. Besides it's not like saying that will make me less nervous."
I then made a smile which I hoped would disturb him a bit, he told me that I'm making him feel weird which was close enough for me.
"So what did you mean by you overstaying here? Do you honestly believe that you're innocent?"
"Of course I am, I'm not ment to be in a place like this. The people are definitely on my side, and if I die then they will see some consequences."
"Your next meal will arrive tomorrow, I cant believe this solitude has already made you this crazy."
"Well I hope you have a great night, I'm ready for a nap already." I said as I heard his footstep's fading away.
Was it really a great idea to drag Gabriel into this mess I made? I do believe in him, but is this to much to ask from him?
I will just have to wait for my answer, and I'll be patient. Any man would if they know they would be free soon, and I must believe in him.
I won't let hatred leave this cell once I become a free man, I can't let it happen again. I learned my lesson this time, and I don't think I'll have another chance.
