Chapter 19 - Ch.19-The Balance

Two Months Later – A Silent Transformation

The sun hung high over Mount Akatsuki, casting sharp shadows across the vast training grounds. The once-clumsy warriors had turned into hardened fighters, their skills sharpened through grueling training.

But among them, only one had truly ascended.

Suntaro Akammi had completed his Myou training in record time, surpassing even Dangoichi Haruka's expectations. His lightning was now an extension of his body, his instincts sharper than ever. He stood at the top—captain-level.

Meanwhile, Blade Taizuka was still struggling.

Despite training endlessly, despite refining his control over Kamikaze's elemental balance, something was still missing. His Myou had not fully manifested. And that frustrated him more than anything.

But there was something else bothering him. Tensho.

Where the hell was Tensho?

Blade tightened his grip on Kamikaze. He had been avoiding the question for too long. Today, he was going to get answers.

The Search for Answers

Blade walked across the training ground, stopping near a tree where Majinto Sakagi sat, casually flipping a small dagger in his hand. His cocky smirk had never faded, but his eyes held a sharper gleam than before.

"Majinto."

Majinto looked up, spinning his dagger before catching it in his palm. "Yo, Blade. What's up?"

"I'm asking about Tensho," Blade said, his voice steady but firm. "Where is he?"

Majinto's smirk faded slightly. He studied Blade for a second before sighing. "You're still stuck on that guy, huh?"

Blade's eyes narrowed. "He's not just some guy. He was at the graduation test with you. You must know something."

Majinto exhaled, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah, we came together. But Tensho's always been… different."

Blade crossed his arms. "Explain."

Majinto leaned back against the tree. "I don't know where he is now, but one thing was clear back then—he was beyond us. He never struggled, never hesitated. It was like he already knew how to fight, how to win. But instead of showing his real strength, he held back. Like he didn't want to reveal his full power."

Blade frowned. "Why?"

Majinto shrugged. "Beats me. Maybe he was hiding something. Or maybe he just didn't see a reason to go all out."

Blade clenched his fists. Tensho… what are you hiding?

Dangoichi's Lesson – Kazeshin's True Nature

As Blade turned to leave, Dangoichi Haruka appeared, his staff tapping against the ground rhythmically.

"You're still lost, aren't you?" the old emperor said, studying Blade carefully.

Blade exhaled, nodding. "I don't understand what I'm missing."

Dangoichi stroked his beard. "You're thinking about it the wrong way. Your strength doesn't come from just the five elements of Kamikaze."

Blade looked at him, confused.

Dangoichi's eyes gleamed. "You possess something greater. The power of Kazeshin."

Blade's breath caught. He hadn't used Kazeshin since his early training, avoiding it because he hadn't fully grasped its power.

"The Five Elements—fire, water, wind, forest, and lightning—exist in Kamikaze," Dangoichi continued. "But Kazeshin is balance itself. It is both Chaos and Creation. And that means you… are the key."

Blade stiffened. "The key to what?"

Dangoichi's smirk widened. "To forging your own Myou."

The Birth of Balance – Kazeshin Awakens

Dangoichi led Blade to an open field. The others, sensing something important was happening, gathered nearby to watch.

"Draw Kazeshin," Dangoichi ordered.

Blade hesitated. Then, he gripped the second blade at his waist—the twin to Kamikaze—and unsheathed Kazeshin.

The air instantly grew heavier.

A strange energy swirled around him, unlike any element he had ever felt before. It wasn't fire. It wasn't wind. It wasn't even lightning.

It was something beyond the five elements.

Dangoichi's voice was calm but firm.

"Chaos and Creation. The force that exists between destruction and rebirth."

Blade's heartbeat quickened. He felt it. The energy of balance itself.

Then—

Kazeshin reacted.

The Trial – Facing His Five Myou Selves

Before Blade could fully comprehend the awakening power, the ground beneath him cracked.

A surge of energy erupted from Kazeshin, splitting into five distinct figures.

Five versions of Blade—each radiating a different elemental aura.

Fire Blade – A version of himself wreathed in roaring flames, eyes burning with aggression.

Water Blade – A fluid, unreadable reflection, moving like an ocean current.

Forest Blade – Rooted, calm, yet possessing overwhelming strength.

Wind Blade – A phantom-like entity, fast and elusive.

Lightning Blade – Crackling with power, eyes sharp as blades.

Even Dangoichi was surprised. His eyes widened slightly.

"He's fighting his own Myou manifestations? That's… beyond anything I expected."

Suntaro whistled. "Well, damn."

Kibito looked stunned. "He has to fight five of himself?!"

Blade took a deep breath, gripping both Kamikaze and Kazeshin.

This is my final trial.

The five figures charged.

The Battle – Forging His True Myou

The battlefield exploded with elemental fury.

Fire Blade struck first, launching a wave of flames. Blade dodged, countering with Kazeshin's neutral force, absorbing the impact.

Wind Blade moved at impossible speed, striking from all sides. Blade gritted his teeth, trying to match its movements, but it was too fast—until he remembered. Wind doesn't fight. It flows. He shifted his stance, adapting to the movement instead of resisting.

Forest Blade's strikes were heavy, unshakable. Blade clashed against it, feeling the raw power behind its blows. But power alone wasn't enough—he needed precision. Using Kazeshin's balance, he redirected the strikes, finding the openings.

Lightning Blade struck next, its attacks unpredictable. Blade narrowed his eyes. Lightning was chaos, but Kazeshin was balance. He allowed the energy to flow through him, embracing the chaos without losing himself to it.

Finally, Water Blade stood still. Watching. Waiting.

Blade understood. Water was about adaptation. Understanding the opponent, understanding oneself.

He took a deep breath.

And then—

With one final strike, he cut through the last of his Myou selves.

The world shook.

And then—

Silence.

A New Beginning

As the dust settled, Blade stood at the center, both Kamikaze and Kazeshin glowing with a newfound energy.

Dangoichi exhaled, nodding.

"You've done it."

Blade looked down at his hands, feeling the pulse of true balance.

He had finally forged his own Myou.

And this was just the beginning.
