I used my power to scan all of Korea and locate So-Hee. After releasing my haki, I pinpointed her location. She was currently engaged in a conversation with someone, seemingly focused on her work.
Using my power, I teleported to the top of a tree and perched on one of its branches. I watched So-Hee as she acted in a scene. Her character was hiking in the mountains with friends. Another actor, portraying a character, showed great interest when he noticed So-Hee. In that scene, she would bump into him, and they would move in slow motion. Eventually, they would fight, but one of So-Hee's friends recognized the boy as one of the school bullies. That's the extent of what I could gather while I observed them from my vantage point. After an hour of filming, the director called for a break.
"So-Hee, let's eat together to lighten your mood. I've noticed you've been quite quiet," the guy approached So-Hee and said, hoping to get closer to her. He had been mesmerized by her beauty ever since they began making this film.
"Maybe next time. I'm quite tired," So-Hee politely declined.
"Is that so? Don't worry, I'll just deliver the food to your ward, So-Hee, and we can eat together there," he insisted, wanting to spend time with her.
"I'm not hungry. I just want to relax" So-Hee said being more straightforward
"I can get coffee and relax. Don't worry I won't bother you while we're drinking" he insisted again
"Sorry, but I want to take some rest. I don't feel like drinking coffee, I just want to relax alone" So-Hee's patience began to wear thin.
"Hey! Don't act like that! You have so many excuses. You know people in Korea hate you because of your previous relationship. I'm showing interest in you, and you're acting like a saint?" he retorted.
"And you can't accept rejection. Now that my patience has worn off, you bring up the topic of people hating me? Do you want me to feel intimidated by them? They can hate me as much as they want. Your kind facade disappeared because you got rejected," So-Hee replied angrily. She had been polite in her rejection, but he kept insisting.
The guy, furious at her response, shouted, "Slut! They call you a 'homewrecker,' So-Hee. If people knew you were being rude right now, they'd surely hate you again."
"They can call me whatever they want. He told me they broke up a year ago, and now that I'm dating him, his ex-fans bombard me with hateful comments. When I retaliated by posting, they got even angrier! But I don't care about that anymore. What matters most is that I don't want you near me," So-Hee fired back at him. By this point, many crew members were watching their argument.
"It doesn't matter? You're just beautiful, and that's why I'm interested in you! Don't act like you're a saint," the guy shouted even more angrily.
"Hey guys, stop it. It's unprofessional to fight in the middle of our job," Jun, a friend of So-Hee, quickly interjected after hearing the commotion.
"This guy keeps pestering me. I reject him, but he can't handle it. His ego can't accept any rejection," So-Hee explained, and the guy noticed that many people were now looking at them. He fell silent and didn't argue further.
"What a spectacle! So-Hee, you didn't tell me you frequently encounter individuals like this guy. When he can't get you, he immediately brings up your past. But don't worry, So-Hee, I captured all of this on video. Cellphones these days are incredibly advanced you know? They can even pick up conversations from this distance. If I release this this guy's career is finished for sure"
Everyone present turned to see where the voice was coming from. They noticed a person sitting comfortably at the top of the tree, casually holding a cellphone. He appeared so relaxed that he was swaying his foot and smiling gently.
So-Hee, who was still upset, turned her gaze toward the person in the tree. His voice sounded familiar, and when she looked closely, she quickly recognized him.
"Neo! What are you doing up there? Come down quickly, it's dangerous. And why did you climb so high?" So-Hee called out as she approached the tree.
"Don't worry! You should be more concerned about that guy—he seems stupid. Why are you working with someone who's mentally unstable?" I replied, jumping down from branch to branch. In the midst of my leap, So-Hee's anxious voice rang out again.
"Climb down properly, Neo! What are you doing? It's dangerous!" By the time she finished speaking, I was already on the ground.
"Don't worry; I'm good at this kind of thing. By the way, how have you been? Do you miss me?" I smiled and walked over to her.
"Tsk! Don't talk to me. I almost forgot that you're the reason I've been irritated for a week. I found out this morning that you're just dating Yeji, which is why you forgot about me," she said, turning to walk away.
"Don't be mad! You know why I'm here. Hey, dude! Don't approach So-Hee again. If you do, I'll ruin your whole career—try me! Wait up, So-Hee, you're walking too fast." As I passed the guy pestering So-Hee, I stopped for a moment to warn him before continuing after her.
"WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, HUH?! HE WASN'T IN AMERICA TO ACT LIKE THAT HERE!" Jung shouted angrily.
"Stop! Don't provoke that guy, Jung!" the director said, arriving late but quickly grasping what was happening when someone called him over due to the heated exchange.
"Who is that director? He's acting like he owns the world. Damn that slut So-Hee! I just want to get to know her better!" Jung replied resentfully.
"That's Neo, the richest person in the world. Didn't you see the news last night? Unlucky for you," another voice chimed in, a smirk on their face. Although they sounded sympathetic, there was a hint of satisfaction in their tone. 'You deserve this,' they thought. 'You've been harassing the actress.'
"What? Why would someone like him be with that slut?! And he's so young!" Jung couldn't believe it; how could someone that young be the richest?
"You just got rejected and now you're calling her slut? You're not that handsome. At least be kind enough to improve your character—and why would you think that So-Hee is interested in you anyway?" another voice added.
"Bae Suzy! Get lost; you're not part of this film!" Jung snapped.
"And neither are you. Don't forget that the director just kicked you out. You're done for sure if this news gets out. Director Lee, I'm here to visit." Bae Suzy had been hiking in the mountains with Song Hye Kyo but learned that Director Lee and So-Hee were nearby. Song Hye Kyo was a close friend of So-Hee, while Bae Suzy was friends with Director Lee.
As they approached the camp where the artists were resting, they heard the commotion. All they saw was Neo walking away, chasing after So-Hee. Since Bae Suzy had also been harassed by Jung previously, she couldn't help but comment against him.
"Damn it!" Jung just walked away and started packing her belongings
"I didn't know that Neo and So-Hee have this kind of relationship. Suzy let's join and camp here tonight" Song Hye Kyo said with smile.
