"So-Hee, where are you going? Your tent is on the other side. We're already in the middle of nowhere." I reached out and grabbed her arms.
"I don't know. I'm just irritated. I waited for days, thinking you would call me back, but you didn't. When you called yesterday, I was happy, but I'm still mad that you forgot me. Then today, I saw the news and realized you were just with other girls, which is why you didn't remember to call me," she said, looking me straight in the eye.
"I'm guilty and sorry for making you wait. I'm here now, so let's make it up today. I'll stay with you for a few more days," I replied, still holding her arms.
"Hmm, okay, I'll forgive you this time. But let me be clear—I'm not your girlfriend yet. Stop holding my hand," she pinched my palm and pulled her hand away.
"Not yet. You'll be mine soon enough. I can wait for a few more days," I smiled at her.
"How can you be so sure I'll be yours in a few days? I'll make you pursue me for a few years if you don't believe me," she said with a smile.
"I believe you. It's already 12:30 AM. I've been watching you for two hours. Aren't you hungry, my So-Hee?" I asked her.
"You've been in that tree for two hours? How could you stay there without anyone noticing? And don't be cringe. My hair is standing up, look" So-Hee asked first and showed her arms to me
"I'm not your ordinary..." Before I could say more, my demeanor changed drastically. My playful expression was replaced by seriousness and anger "How dare them" I mumbled
"Hey, Neo, what's going on? What's happening to you?" So-Hee noticed my face becoming increasingly angry, and she could feel the wind picking up speed. The ground began to shake, and clouds gathered at the top of the mountain, a storm brewing overhead.
"Let's go, Neo, it's dangerous here!" So-Hee reached out to pull me, but she was alarmed to see that I was completely unresponsive. "Neo, wake up! Let's go, NEO!" It was only So-Hee's urgent shout that finally brought me back to reality.
"So-Hee, it's alright now. Thank you. If not for you, the consequences would have been catastrophic. Wait for me here, okay?" I held her face and then teleported away. My aura dissipated, and the world returned to normal. If So-Hee hadn't called me for a few more seconds, the world would have experienced a devastating earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruptions, and more. However, because of So-Hee, the world only faced minor earthquakes, although they still felt all over the globe.
"What? How did Neo vanish?" So-Hee wondered, still processing everything that had just happened. She calmed herself and recalled how my entire demeanor had changed.
Meanwhile, going back in time, Neo's parents had just finished a meeting about their future charity and were driving on the road.
"Oliver, we're almost done with all this hustle. We've already acquired the permits to operate the charity. Once we finish renovating our office, we can start helping people," Luna said from the front seat while Oliver was driving. They were enjoying their conversation when two cars sped past them.
"Look at them, driving like they own the road… oh, shit," Oliver exclaimed as the two cars suddenly braked in front of him. He quickly hit the brakes. After the car came to a stop, he looked at Luna. "Are you okay, Luna? Damn this kids!" he said, rolling down the window. "Hey, don't do that next time. It's dangerous, you know?"
Just then, the doors of both cars opened, and eight fully armed men stepped out, pointing their guns at Oliver and Luna. Soon after, three more cars arrived, blocking their escape.
"Come with us, and we won't harm you," the leader said, still aiming his gun at Oliver.
"We don't know you people. Why are you doing this?" Luna asked.
"Just leave the damn car. I will count. We will start shooting if you don't leave the car. One, two," the armed leader said as he began counting.
"Okay. Okay, we are out. Don't harm my wife. Take me and let her go, please," Oliver pleaded.
"That won't do. The boss wants the other one of you. Handcuff them," he commanded his men. But as the men walked toward Luna and Oliver, they sprang into action and punched the person who was about to cuff them.
The leader saw this and issued an order. "Shoot their feet. Don't kill them. We need them." Soon, gunshots rang out, but Oliver and Luna ducked their heads.
As the bullets flew close to Luna and Oliver, a protective shield appeared, blocking the shots.
"Luckily, Neo gave this to us. Even though we have super strength, we are not invisible to bullets," Luna said with relief in her voice.
"Damn greedy bastards. They targeted us because they think we are defenseless. Knowing your son, he would kill them, Luna," Oliver said, aware of what Neo had experienced in another world. Neo had told them he had killed many people there.
"He will surely kill them. I'm just hoping he will be lenient and only kill those who orchestrated this attack."
"What the hell? An earthquake in the middle of this operation!"
"Sir, they have some weird technology to block bullets."
"Continue attacking! It's only a minor earthquake"
"You guys really targeted my parents. Since you're the first, I'll use you to send a message that you shouldn't provoke us," Neo said.
"How are you flying? Monster! Fire at him!" the leader commanded as he also started firing his gun.
Neo pointed his finger and unleashed a bolt of thunder. One by one, lightning pierced through their bodies, killing them. The only one left standing was the leader. Neo activated his Sharingan and extracted the information he needed from him before killing him.
"Mom, Dad, are you okay? It looks like the general wants to kidnap you to acquire our fortune," Neo said as he walked over to his parents.
"What will happen now, Neo? Should we report them or not?" Luna asked, unable to look at the dead bodies beside them.
Neo used his Kamui to collect all the bodies, the car, and the bullets. The only ones remaining were his parents.
"We shouldn't report them. We can use this to send a message to the world. You should rest now, Mom/Dad. I'll take care of everything," Neo said, teleporting his parents to his house.
Now that his parents were safe, he teleported to the general's house. He first scanned the area to ensure no innocents were inside and then used his Sharingan on the general to extract information. After learning who was working with him, he canceled his Sharingan. He also gathered all the illegal documents and evidence against the general.
He flew high into the sky, getting a full view of the mansion. While recording a video with his left arm, he concentrated lightning with his right. Once it was ready, he fired it at the mansion, causing a massive explosion that obliterated the structure. Other nearby mansions only felt the ground rumble but sustained no damage.
After that, Neo flew to where the J&J board director lived and did the same: kill, destroy, and record.
