Ryuji, detoxifying under a tree, heard a meow and, through his blurry vision, saw something crouching before him.
Unaware it was Yushiro's delivery cat, he thought it was a wild cat and ignored it.
The cat rubbed against him.
Ryuji, not minding, petted it.
Only when his vision cleared did he see the charm and backpack. He realized it was Yushiro's blood courier! He had petted it for a long time!
Amusing himself, Ryuji took the blood collected from Lower Rank Six from his pocket.
His blood collection tool was the same as Tanjiro's—Yushiro's creation.
He placed the tool into the cat's backpack, petted it again, and said, "Do your job well. Get this to Tamayo."
The cat, its delivery complete, left after Ryuji finished petting it.
It turned into red smoke a short distance away.
Ryuji wasn't surprised. He'd seen stranger things in this Demon Slayer world.
After the cat left, Ryuji continued to recover.
After separating from Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and the boy, at Zenitsu's insistence, continued searching for the exit. Kyogai's Blood Demon Art had distorted the villa's layout, confusing even the boy, who lived there.
Fortunately, Zenitsu had good luck and encountered no danger.
During Tanjiro and Kyogai's fight, their space was affected. Zenitsu, Nezuko, and the boy were flung from a second-floor window.
Zenitsu was thrown first, landing hard and almost vomiting. Before he recovered, Nezuko landed on his back, knocking him unconscious.
The boy landed in a parabolic arc near Nezuko, who caught him.
Nezuko stood up, and Zenitsu twitched, eyes rolling.

Zenitsu, using his last breath, complained weakly.
He coughed violently.
Nezuko watched silently, showing no apology or intention to comfort him.
The boy couldn't stand it and knelt beside Zenitsu, shaking him. "Older brother, are you okay?"
Zenitsu weakly placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Don't…shake…me…let…me…rest…"
