Sei sat lost in his thoughts, a little sad because of Miyo. He had failed in the exam. The sky outside was blanketed by twinkling stars, looking like diamond pieces embedded in the dark night sky. The distant clatter of the wheels rolling down the road could be heard.
Fari and Navi had fallen asleep, but Sei didn't allow himself to have a moment of sleep; after all, he was still wary of the driver and the cart that appeared out of nowhere.
His mind still swirled with unanswered questions and mysteries, 'What happened at the academy gates in the morning? Why is it being kept as a secret?' This was the freshest question he had.
He swung his head dramatically, 'I will just toss them around for the time being.' He left the questions unanswered for now and focused on what was ahead, he was going home after 1 month.
