Selene~
I didn't know how to answer that question. The fact that she asked in that way already meant she knew the answer.
But why did Christopher go to her to snitch on me? What on earth was he planning to gain from it?
"This is good," I finally said. "It had been killing me to hide it from you, so this is good."
Cassidy didn't say a word, she just stared at me, still expecting an answer. I looked between her and Christopher and wondered when they even had the time to sit down and talk about me.
"I didn't know you two talked," I muttered.
"We don't," she said. "Not really, but he showed up at my house, looking for you."
"At midnight?" I raised an eyebrow. "And you didn't question how he knew where you lived?"
Cassidy rolled her eyes. "I don't think that's important right now."
I scoffed. "I'm guessing he told you that he's not human either, since you seem to believe whatever comes out of his mouth."
"That's not funny, Selene. Stop trying to avoid the subject."
