As Elarion's eyes landed on the double-arched gate, an ominous feeling crept up his spine like a snake. He looked away, trying to ward off the feeling, then his eyes crept around the hallway, inspecting every little detail. He looked closely at the blinded angels and he realized their faces were making expressions that ranged from disgust to rage.
On the castle-like hallway, texts etched in the concrete read as such "seraphs and angels disgusted, horrified, terrified, or filled with hate at the actions of humanity itself, one question is thought throughout the confusion that this tower brings 'why?' Though the answers vary through each this is retribution, invasion, or salvation all you must now, Hero, you must stand at the top and train your strength"
Still, even though Elarion tries to push away the unnerving feeling, whispers are heard. The voices vary yet are recognizable all voices are those of evil people from Elarion's life, begging for the same thing, Salvation and mercy.
After some minutes of senselessly trying to push away the ominous feeling, Elarion walks in front of the middle of the gate, his eyes ran through the gate taking in all the little details
The gate looked as if it was made of Blackstone and Obsidian. 9 circles are chiseled onto the gate, and Elarion saw texts naming each of the circles
"Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery."
Intrigued by the gate, Elarion touched it pressing his hand on the gate. Then a sudden jolt of pain rushed through his hands. Elarion pulled back his hand, and he looked at his hands to see little holes.
He looked back at the gate to realize the blood was being absorbed, then a crimson red glow emanated from a text reading as
"Abandon not hope but certainty, for within these walls truth is no savior. Each step strips away the lie you wear as a 'Hero'. Come then bleed for purpose, suffer for strength, and struggle for hope. Then you'll learn why you must fight."
While Elarion was reading the text, Aiel noticed Elarion's face wasn't one of fear, but of curiosity and joy.
"This is... Interesting..."
Said Elarion with a joyful and silent respectful tone, whilst admiring the work
"You made this?"
Asked Elarion after turning towards the system window
"Well not entirely but I am involved"
Said Aiel with a proud tone of voice
"Well that explains it"
Said Airl in a teasingly dismissive tone
"Excuse me? That's quite offensive, don't you think so? Of course, I could do it."
Said Aiel in an offended voice
"Of course, how could someone like YOU create this?"
Elarion pushed his luck once more
"You- little... Well that's quite a lot of shit to say for someone like you, you urn filled dissapoitment... To be fair though you look like the poster child of pro-choice, right you little cunt?"
Said Aiel in a calm and elegant tone of voice, despite what he said
"Okay... Let's stop here"
Elarion spoke in a shell-shocked voice
"Great choice."
Aiel said ominously
Then Elarion tried to push the door with all his might, yet the door didn't open or budge.
Elarion looked around for a clue to open the door, then his eyes landed on the ground. He saw a chiseled magic circle, and a realization dawned upon him
"Do I?..."
Said Elarion curiously
A small and ominous chuckle came from Aiel before answering
"You do."
Elarion sighed heavily before summoning his sword from the system, and he slashed his arm, letting the blood drip to the ground, activating a magic circle.
As the magic circle is activated, the room shakes like an earthquake hits the tower, and the magic circle glows red before the doors open.
As Elarion walked in, what he saw was just a void. It was dark except for a pedestal in the middle; all around him was just endless darkness, except for a glowing pedestal with a stand that seemed to be designed to hold an orb.
Suddenly as Elarion was thinking what to do Aiel sent a message through the System window
"You need a physical form of sins and souls of the monster combined to make the first floor There's a lot more details but that's the basics, You also need to follow the first floor theme: Limbo"
Then Elarion asked something
"Where am I supposed to get that? And what does Limbo exactly mean???"
Aiel answered with a calm voice
"Wait I'm going to unlock a series of skills for you, Also the theme is Limbo, like the realm between heaven and hell"
Elarion thought to himself before asking another question
"Then what would be the monster in it?"
"Some low-level to mid-level humanoid monsters like goblins or trolls and also low to mid-level beasts"
Aiel helpfully answered once more
"I see... So what are the ski-"
Two skill windows pop up
[New skill unlocked: Anima Peccatorum]
[New skill unlocked: Combination of Sin and Soul]
[Anima Peccatorum (???) ]
Once an enemy is killed, this skill can be used. This skill will create a physical manifestation of the soul in the form of an orb by severing the soul from the Soulgrave Lethe Lake, and additionally creates the Sin orb.]
[Combination of Soul and Sin (???) ]
[Combining both Sin and Soul creating an inferior version of the Philosopher's Stone, the orb can be used as an energy source for a layer, The last effect is that once you combine the sin and soul the monsters will be bonded to you through an Astral Chain]
[Contract: Astral Chain]
[This contract binds a soul to you once the skill 'Combination of Sin and Soul' is used, The effects of the contract can be changed once your level is high enough, Right now the effect is that you must kill both all the monsters and the contractor at the same time]
"Doesn't this just make me practically immortal once I have a high enough monster army?"
Asked Elarion curiously
"Well, yeah, but I'm going to turn off the contract when you're in that world, since you still need training, speaking of that other world, you need to go there now to get monsters."
Suddenly as Aiel spoke a portal materialized in front of Elarion, before Elarion could react the portal sucked him in before closing
