Elara gasped, her body jerking upright as she tore herself free from the sphere of light. Her fingers trembled, and her breath came in harsh, uneven gulps.
Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead, her golden eyes wide and unfocused.
"Elara! Are you alright?"
Horus was beside her in an instant, one hand hovering over her shoulder but not quite touching.
"I'm… I'm fine. But the dungeon—we have a problem."
She said quickly, though her voice trembled as much as her limbs.
Horus narrowed his eyes.
"What happened?"
"There was a breach. A tear on the far edge."
Elara whispered, her gaze fixed on the swirling sphere suspended in the air in front of them.
The magical construct pulsed with unstable energy, and thin fractures flickered across its surface like spiderwebs of light.
"Something inside cracked the simulation. A surge of power—too strong, too sudden. I couldn't contain it."
