[ Level: 3 ]

[ Strength: 11 ]

[ Agility: 8 ]

[ Defense: 8 ]

[ Mana: 21 ]

'So each level up gives me 5 physical attributes points, distributed randomly. And 10 Mana points.'

Yuki murmured to himself and sighed,

'Sigh... It's so little. I am not strong as a Average baby dragon yet.'

'Well, no point complaining. Hopefully the Fusion Lab will work on me as well.' he added with hope.

After that, Yuki managed to hunt down a Dragonfly and a Moth.

From the Dragonfly, he acquired:

[ Extraction Complete ]

Bloodline: Sky Dragonfly (F)

Skill: Skyblade Wings (F)

> Increases flight speed, precision movement, and grants resistance to wind pressure and altitude effects.

And from the Moth:

[ Extraction Complete ]

Bloodline: Nightmare Moth (F)

Skill: Nocturnal Instinct (F)

> Enhances perception, stealth, and movement speed during nighttime.

-

Neither of the two were ordinary creatures. Despite their small size, they possessed distinct magical traits.

But compared to Yuki's dragon body, even as weakest dragon, they were little more than bugs. And bugs were made to be eaten.

He would've liked to continue. The night was young, and his hunger for power had just been awakened.

However—

Grrrr!

A low growl rippled through the air. Then another. Then a third.

It came from the shadows behind the thick trees, creeping closer with every heartbeat. Something or several somethings were drawn in by the energy pulses from the fights. Perhaps the scent of blood. Perhaps the magic he stirred up by using the Dragon God Codex.

Yuki's small dragon body stiffened. His eyes narrowed.

"Crap… I was too noisy."

The comforting quiet of the forest had turned into something far more sinister.

Twigs snapped. The wind grew colder.

Something was coming.

Something that didn't sound like a bug.

Without a second thought, Yuki scrambled toward the house.

"Rustle!"

A sharp movement was heard behind him.

"Whoosh"

Something leapt from the bushes.

He glanced back, and froze in terror.

---

[ Silverfeet Fox – Level 6 ]

[ Extraction Available ]

[ Warning! Hostile Intent Detected. Immediate Evasion Recommended. ]

---

'You don't need to tell me that, Dracina!' Yuki screamed inwardly, flapping his tiny wings to boost his speed.

It was a level 6 magical creature, getting caught means immediate death.

The fox's silver paws glinted under the moonlight as it tore after him, each step leaving behind a shimmer of magical residue.

Its narrowed eyes locked onto Yuki, burning with hunger and greed. This wasn't just a hunt. it was a pursuit for evolution.

Yuki's dragon bloodline was rare, and for creatures like the Silverfeet Fox, devouring a higher-tier being could mean ascending to a noble bloodline.

"It's fast! Super fast! Can I make it?"

His heart pounded.

Even for a fox, this one was abnormal. Its legs moved like streaks of wind, enhanced by innate magic—Silverfeet, just as the name implied.

Yuki had barely covered half the distance to the house. There was still 50 meters left to cross. But the gap between him and the predator was closing with every heartbeat.

How would he survive this?

His only hope?

'That little girl… She might hear the commotion and help me…'

His only hope was the little girl.

But she was now asleep.

She had no idea her new companion was moments away from being devoured.

"For heaven's sake, am I going to die here? Is this where my second life ends?"

[ Host detected in critical danger. Suggested action: Enter Fusion Lab to escape. ]

"Dracina!" Yuki barked. "You're telling me this now?" He was speechless.

Without wasting another second, he activated the Fusion Lab, setting himself as the target exactly as the instructions had explained earlier.

As the space shifted, Dracina's voice echoed from all around him.

"I sincerely apologize, Host. I believed you were intelligent. I assumed you would figure it out on your own. But it seems I was wrong. Please forgive my miscalculation."

Yuki: "...."

Yuki stood silent for a moment, then asked,

"So you do know how to mock others, Dracina. Very good."

[ No, Host. I was simply being honest. ]

"Must you be so blunt?"

Yuki scratched an itch on his scaly butt and sighed, speechless.

Dracina didn't respond, and Yuki turned his focus to his surroundings.

He stood at the center of a white, shimmering platform. The area around him glowed with radiant light, but beyond that was nothing but emptiness. Or rather, the thick Darkness. It was so suffocating that it could swallow anything that stumbled into it.

An invisible boundary shimmered at the edge of the platform, keeping that void at bay. A quiet hum vibrated in the air, like the breathing of some hidden, slumbering engine.

"So this is the Fusion Lab. The target stands in the center of the formation… and this is where target, bloodlines and skills are fused," he muttered, glancing over the Archive screen hovering nearby.

Another screen floated beside it, showing the outside world in real time.

Outside, the Silverfeet Fox prowled in confusion. It circled the spot where Yuki had vanished, ears twitching, nose sniffing the air. The sudden disappearance of its prey had thrown it off. It paced restlessly, snarling in frustration.

It was courageous enough to target a Dragonborne, but unfortunate that it had encountered Yuki, who was an anomaly.

Yuki's escape had been instantaneous, like slipping into a pocket dimension. It was seamless, effortless. Magical. And more than anything, life-saving.

"I don't know how many times I can rely on this function," he muttered. "But even once... is already a miracle."

[ Rest assured, Host. You cannot use this function infinitely. It is restricted to 3 uses per day due to limited system resources. The Dragon God System exists solely to assist you in becoming an unstoppable Dragon God. Not a cowardly rat ]

"Uh. How exactly is that supposed to be reassuring, Dracina?" Yuki muttered, his expression deadpan. "Oh, I get it. You're mocking me again, aren't you?"

[ Negative. The System has no authority to mock its Host. You're my Master. ]

Yuki narrowed his eyes at the hovering screen.

"You say that, but your tone has a built-in sarcasm module, I swear..."

[ Host's mental stability is fluctuating. Please take a deep breath. ]

"You little..."

Yuki clenched his small claws, grinding his teeth. But in the end, he let out a long sigh.

"Fine, fine. I'll save my outrage for later. Let's focus. We're inside the Fusion Lab now. Might as well see what this place can really do.."
