I woke up groggily on a warm bed. I barely made a movement, but I could tell a soft blanket was on me.
The sensation was unfamiliar to me. For I was used to sleeping on a hard floor with no warmth.
When I rose up to a sitting position, I looked around and didn't recognize my surroundings. I frowned.
Where am I?
I slid out of the bed and stood. However, before I could make any movements, I looked down and saw saw chains wrapped around my ankles.
What on earth?
I reached down and tugged on the chains, but I couldn't get rid of it. It was tough as a nail, and I pulled harder.
I fell down on my butt as a result. With a painful thud on my ass, I groaned.
I tried to pull the chains again, but I only ended up hurting myself; then a door opened with a quiet thud.
"You won't be able to break the chains except for hurting yourself."
