When Lucas landed on his bed, he felt like going back to sleep but Agatha was still at the door. Lucas gazed at Agatha just to realize that she had been sleep walking. Lucas thought of sending her back to her room, as he was about to take his first step forward, Agatha jumped with the intent of landing an elbow drop on Lucas.
"Oh...no", he looked up to Agatha then his body just acted on impulse and dived out of the room and closed the door.
"I don't think all females are like this...right?", he said to himself and went to sleep on the couch.
The sun rose and Agatha came to the living room feeling like she had an awesome sleep while Lucas who was on the couch felt like he was dying.
Mia's leg was feeling a bit better so she could limb.
Agatha said she had something to say and it was urgent.
Both Mia and Lucas looked straight into her eyes as she gave a serious look.
"Now...if both of you don't place first on the next exams, I'm confiscating both your consoles and your phones".
"HUH??!!!", Mia asked with her heart beating at abnormal speeds.
Lucas told Agatha that he had a question..."Do you mean in individual classes, or combined?".
Agatha gave a wicked smile and chose the latter.
Mia was totally confused because she knew it was impossible, and even if it happened, it meant they were supposed to get the same marks in gym classes, athletics, assignments and all those stuff.
"B-But...how??", she asked in a depressing tone.
Agatha laughed and decided to ignore it. Lucas told Mia that they would discuss it in school tomorrow.
The day went by quickly with a lot of arguments between the siblings.
It was a breezy morning in school, Mia was conversing with her friends as usual in class when Lucas entered her class with consent of course.
He was looking for Mia and Kono. As soon as he spotted both, he approached Mia and asked her to follow him, he also told her that she should come to the library during snack break.
As Kono was reading her book, Mia and Lucas stood infront of her. Kono's nervousness then came to hover around her.
"Hey...so this is Mia and Mia, this is your new friend now, bye", He put his headphones back on and left. Kono and Mia looked at him and then they looked in each other's eyes. They both giggled because they couldn't believe what just happened. Kono introduced herself properly and they both just...hit it off. They spoke a whole lot till the teacher came to take over.
It was break already and Lucas waited for Mia in the library. She came five minutes late, Lucas reminded her about the situation they were in.
"Now...of course it's not possible for us to place first among the first years", he stated the obvious.
" Well duhh...what's your point?"
"I suggest we compete against each other for first place, meaning one of us will be second.", he went straight to the point.
Mia agreed in an instant but that would mean that one of them would get their items confiscated.
"Sacrifices are meant to be made...for a peaceful result ".Lucas quoted.
Mia gave a smile and said that she got this in the bag if it was against him.
"But let's study together, I don't want my friends to tempt me.", she proposed.
Lucas didn't see any harm in that so he agreed.
Meanwhile....
"So you're saying, you couldn't get her to come back to the organization??!....because a bunch of kids came to her rescue?", "well...doesn't this sound like a fairytale?".
"Sorry boss...."
"Don't worry...she'll definitely come back, we'll just give her some time".
