Chapter 33 - Chapter 33

In the space between stars, it's not that there's 'nothing'. There are asteroids, rogue planets and other random space trash. For example, derelict ships.

"So what you're saying is that we're royally fucked?"

"Our situation is certainly… Not very optimistic."

"We're dead." Daesha sighed and leaned her head back, not caring whether her Lekku were getting smooshed against the back of her skull.

"I mean, we aren't dead 'yet'. We still have like… Life support systems, right?"

"Yes. For now." The Nautolan woman checked some holographic and 2d displays, "Our Hyperdrive is down, so are the shields, and the engines…"

"Except minimal life support, we don't have anything." Daesha grumbled, looking over at that handsome tomato boy, "Why are you still smiling in this situation?"

"I might not be a 'Jedi', but I can still use the Force, okay? And the Force is telling me we're gonna be fine. Just gotta come up with a-"

"I have a plan." Kikha spoke while looking over at the two of them with a wry smile on her dark-blue lips.

"Awesome! Hahaha~! Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Swim."

"Huh?"

"Master?"

The two teenagers were confused, for good reason.

Kikha looked out the window again and pointed towards some shining wreckage floating around in the distance, "We're going to swim. Using the Force, we'll swim through this ocean of debris. Hopefully we can find parts to repair the ship or maybe even a working shuttle of some sort. Anything."

"Can't we just release an emergency signal or call your friends for help?" Asmodeus couldn't help asking.

"Comms are down." Daesha explained with another sigh, "Well… I guess it's better than just waiting to die."

"We don't have comms, but the Force is always with us." Kikha smiled again as she looked at the two 'children' she picked up on Tatooine. One was her Padawan for many years and the other was a handsome boy with immense potential. For a moment, she couldn't help but remember a certain 'prophecy'... Something about a 'Chosen One', meant to bring balance to the Force? Anyway, she never really cared about ancient Prophecies in the first place.

"Before anything else, we need to make sure the ship won't suddenly explode on us. I know you're both exhausted, but we have a lot of work to do before we can sleep."

"Yes, Master!"

"I'm not that tired, but I also have no idea how to help. Just tell me what to do and use me like a manual laborer, I guess."

Rather than putting the ship back together, he would have an easier time learning how to teleport using the Force. Fortunately, he really didn't have to use his brain too much. The lounge was a little messy and the bathroom was a disaster, but for the most part, everything was 'intact'. The other wing was also fine. The engines weren't completely wrecked and even the Hyperdrive wasn't broken into pieces. The most important parts of the ship were still fine, the issue was mainly with random circuitry and other nonsense.

The wings kept a lot of fuel and other important stuff, so losing one was a pretty huge deal. Especially such a catastrophic failure. However, it wasn't the end of the world. Just a lot of work.

"Here." In the hallway beyond the lounge was a small sealed area, the airlock. Inside of there, they actually had five simple EVA Suits. When Kikha left, she obviously picked out ones that would fit herself and her Padawan. Thankfully, they were pretty baggy and stretchy, so it was easy to have one of the simple brown and white space suits fit Asmodeus' body.

"Holy shit! We're going outside?! Hahahaha~! This is so badass!"

"I've never been on a space walk either." Daesha blushed as she helped the naked boy put on his space suit, then she took off her own clothes… Unfortunately, Asmodeus ignored the two naked women and walked over to the airlock, looking outside the small window into space with a smirk on his lips.

"By the way, what are we actually supposed to do out there?"

"We need to make sure that the damage is contained and then start repairing that damage as quickly as possible. Don't worry, 'Deus', your only job is to protect us. Make sure that we don't get hit by debris. The ship is also unshielded. The outer plating is normally strong enough to withstand a lot, but now…"

"Gotcha. This is fucking awesome! Hahaha~!"

Once the two of them were suited up, the air was vented from the room and sucked back into the ship. Obviously they wouldn't waste it. Also, if they opened an airlock with air inside, it would launch them out into the void. Not that big of a deal for a Jedi with a jetpack, but still unnecessary.

The door opened to the sides and Asmodeus floated out into space… He felt a little constrained. Compared to on a planet with life, especially completely naked, the Force wasn't quite as smooth. But it wasn't completely cut off. He floated around freely without needing to waste fuel. So did the two Jedi.

"Holy shit!" He quickly raised his right hand and a piece of metal the size of his own thumb was deflected off to the side a bit. It must have been traveling thousands of meters per second! And that piece of metal was traveling fairly slowly!

There were entire Battle Droids and other shit that zoomed past so fast he couldn't even react! The Force just told him not to move over there ahead of time. Fortunately, he wasn't the only one with precognitive abilities. Both Kikha and Daesha managed to avoid being turned into sieves by tiny pieces of metal or other space junk. However, the ship wasn't so lucky. Every minute or so, at least one piece of tiny metal struck somewhere.

"In retrospect, it would've been safer if we just stayed in that chaotic battlefield."

"Maybe." Kikha looked at the two of them, then at Asmodeus through the clear bubble-like glass helmet, "The Force was telling me to escape. You saw something… Someone."

"Kinda-sorta. It's probably just Darth Maul."
