"Who the fuck is it?! Bounty Hunters?!"
Asmodeus reached back and grabbed the simple brown tunic, along with a pair of clean gray pants. Some Jedi Robes and a brown cloak flew into Kikha's hand at the same time. The two of them looked at each other for a moment, before turning back to the chaotic scene before them.
"That's what I thought at first, but look!" Daesha didn't have the presence of mind to notice anything strange about the two of them, because she was too busy jerking the steering wheel around. Trying to dodge and avoid all the random turbo-blaster bolts that flew around!
"Is that… A Trade Federation Fleet? They're under attack by pirates."
A bunch of ships that looked like spheres surrounded by almost complete rings were being attacked by a bunch of miscellaneous pirate vessels. Although the Trade Federation Fleet was much larger and more powerful, the pirates weren't trying to completely defeat the other side. They boarded one of the ships already, while a bunch of fighters were having a dogfight not far away.
"Is that weird? We're in the Kellux System…" There was a big planet in the distance, with a bright yellow star shining behind it.
"So it has nothing to do with us?" Asmodeus snickered, "Let's just get the fuck outta here before we get shot!"
"I'm trying! Master!"
"Calm yourself." Kikha took control over the ship from her own steering wheel and easily weaved through the web of deadly turbolasers.
"Hmmm, do you feel that?" Asmodeus smirked as he gazed off behind one of those big ships. It was hidden in the darkness, but he could still sense something out there. He saw two glowing yellow irises with blood red around the edges!
"Engaging Hyperdrive…"
"Master! This is an asteroid field! And we're too close to the planet!"
"May the Force be with us."
"Hahahahaha~! Let's goooo~!"
The deathrays and flying chunks of rock seemed to vanish instantly! There were countless white lights that seemed to be flying all around them, then with a horrifying high-pitched noise, it all swirled together into a nebulous blue-white tunnel of light!
"Hahaha~! We didn't die!"
"Yet!" Daesha retorted and anxiously looked at a simple screen that displayed a bunch of complicated data in a language that Asmodeus couldn't hope to understand or comprehend.
"Master…"
"Trust in the Force…" Kikha closed her eyes and kept her right hand on the silver lever, shaking slightly as the ship rumbled and hummed.
"Master!"
"What's happening?" Asmodeus looked around in confusion and then felt a strangely horrifying sensation wash over him!
'Death!' His mind went blank for a moment and he reached forward with his right hand, placing the left on Daesha's shoulder as he stood up in the cockpit!
"Now!" Kikha opened her eyes and pulled back with one hand. It only took an instant for them to leave Hyperspace, then she used her other hand to tilt the wheel as the alarms blared!
"Aaaaaah~! Fuuuuck~!"
"Aaaah!"
Asmodeus and Daesha screamed at the same time. They managed to avoid crashing into a random asteroid in the space between star systems, but then something much smaller appeared! Asmodeus pushed with all of his strength and just barely managed to yeet a B-1 Battle Droid out of their way! Such a small object normally wouldn't be difficult to move, but he only had a split second and it was incredibly far away…
*Boom~!* The ship shook violently again, this time red lights were shining on the dashboard and a hologram of the ship was displayed from one device. Showing the tip of the left wing that had a huge hole ripped off of it!
"No!" Daesha trembled and looked over at her scowling Master, "We're…"
"Phew…" Kikha sighed and closed her eyes again, as a loud explosion rang out and the whole wing was blasted off! The engines shut off and the alarms finally stopped once she manually disengaged everything.
Asmodeus looked at the crying Padawan and the silent Jedi Knight, then looked back out the window at the dark void…
"I'm guessing that's 'not' a good thing, right?"
