"Then let's rest for tonight. Tomorrow, I'll go find Peter Parker. You, on the other hand, can fulfill your wish," Alex Ray said slowly.

"Considering you don't have any combat capabilities right now, I'll assign someone to keep you safe," Alex added, his gaze sharpening as though sifting through a mental list of trustworthy allies.

Doctor Octopus looked at Alex with quiet gratitude. He hadn't expected that, in this strange world, someone would genuinely care about an old man like him. A warm sensation welled in his chest.

"I wonder who this person is? Where are they?" Doctor Octopus looked around but saw no one, prompting his curiosity.

"You'll see soon enough," Alex replied with a mysterious smile.

Doctor Octopus watched as Alex calmly slipped his hands into his coat pockets, then began to speak slowly.

His voice carried weight, a deep and commanding tone, as though invoking some unseen power.

"On your right!" he called.

A glowing magic circle suddenly formed on Alex's right side.

From within the circle, a figure emerged—wearing a red leather suit similar to Spider-Man's, twin katanas strapped to his back. The man moved with casual ease, clearly a battle-hardened warrior.

Just as Doctor Octopus was admiring how reliable Alex's ally appeared, the solemnity of the moment was immediately shattered.

With a smirk, the newly arrived figure turned to Alex and announced proudly, "Looking cool, Alex! That's how you make a dramatic entrance!"

This summoned man wasted no time displaying his eccentric personality.

But before the moment could settle, Deadpool became even more outrageous.

With exaggerated seriousness, he asked Alex, "Also, why'd you have to summon me now? I've been searching for my true love, you know! I get it—you missed me more than Wanda! You can't live without me, right?"

As he spoke, he dramatically grabbed Alex by the shoulders, giving him a playful shake.

Doctor Octopus stood awkwardly to the side, unsure how to process this bizarre scene. He was intrigued and slightly concerned about the hero meant to be his protector.

Without missing a beat, Alex rolled his eyes and slapped Deadpool's hands off his shoulders. "Doctor Octopus, meet Deadpool. He'll be your escort tomorrow. He may look completely unhinged, but trust me—no one gets past him once he's on guard."

At that, Deadpool finally turned to properly acknowledge Doctor Octopus. He scanned him up and down, then thumped his chest.

"Yep, I'll be your babysitter. You're from a parallel universe, huh? Honestly, I expected you to look more... alien."

Despite the irreverent tone, there was a spark of sincerity in Deadpool's eyes that couldn't be ignored.

Doctor Octopus found himself unexpectedly reassured. This bizarre figure, for all his antics, might actually be reliable.

Deadpool didn't wait for a response. He casually slung an arm around Doctor Octopus's shoulders and began chatting.

"So, old-timer, what's your story? What's a multiverse wanderer like you doing in our neighborhood?"

Surprisingly, Doctor Octopus didn't resist. He slowly began recounting his life—filled with triumphs and tragedies, regrets and pride. His voice, tinged with emotion, flowed freely in the strange comfort of this casual conversation.

As they spoke, Alex slipped silently out of the room.

He didn't interrupt because he knew—this version of Deadpool, chaotic but fiercely loyal, was exactly what Doctor Octopus needed.

And maybe, just maybe, Deadpool needed someone to open up to as well.

Alex paused at the end of the hallway, gazing out at the night sky through the windowpane.

Tomorrow would be a new day. A day full of unknowns, danger... and opportunity.

Elsewhere, Peter Parker stood in front of his mirror, staring at his reflection in confusion.

His vision had miraculously cleared—no need for thick glasses anymore. And to his shock, eight-pack abs now rippled across his torso.

He flexed, posed, and admired his sudden transformation like a kid discovering a superpower for the first time.

"Peter, are you alright? Something changed?" Aunt May's voice came from outside the door.

Peter glanced at himself again, nodded, then called back, "Yeah... something big changed!"

"Well, hurry up! You'll be late!" Aunt May reminded him.

Peter turned toward the window, spotting Mary Jane next door. He smiled to himself like a dope.

For the first time, he felt... worthy. Maybe now, he really had a chance with her.

Determined and grinning with newfound confidence, he headed off to school.

But as he made his way toward Mary, he saw a car pull up and classmates scoop her away before he could say anything.

Frustrated, Peter slammed his fist into the nearby wall.

The wall cracked under the impact.

Peter stared in disbelief at the dent, then down at his own hand.

Before he could process what had just happened, he realized—he'd missed the school bus. Again.

The morning flew by in a blur. Peter skipped most of his classes, too distracted by the bizarre changes in his body. Even Harry hadn't shown up.

At lunch, Peter sat alone, poking at his food while watching Mary Jane drift past. She looked distant, lost in thought—still mourning her late boyfriend.

She didn't notice the puddle on the floor until it was too late.

Just as she slipped, Peter moved—fast.

He caught her mid-fall and even managed to use his tray to save her lunch.

"Whoa, reflexes! Thanks!" Mary gasped, clutching onto him as she steadied herself.

"You're welcome," Peter replied, stunned by his own speed.

Their eyes met. Mary blinked, smiling for the first time in days.

"You've got beautiful blue eyes. I never noticed before—must've been those glasses."

Then she walked away.

Peter stood frozen, a stupid grin spreading across his face.

She noticed me. She really noticed me.

But his joy was short-lived.

He glanced down—his hand was stuck to the fork.

Then, thin strands of webbing shot from his palm, practically invisible but undeniably real.

Panic surged in Peter's chest. He looked around, terrified someone had seen.

He dropped the fork, bolted from the cafeteria, and ran as fast as he could.

His heart pounded like a drum, fear and confusion tightening around him like a vice.

He ducked into an alley behind the school, pressing his back against the brick wall, gasping for air.

He stared at his hands, dread building in his chest.

What's happening to me?

Then, from the shadows, a voice broke the silence.

"Scared of your new abilities?"

Peter whipped his head around, instantly alert.

From the depths of the alley, a figure stepped forward—slowly, deliberately.

When Peter saw him, his heart nearly stopped.

The figure wore a black cape and a mask with striking blue and white patterns—an unmistakable silhouette.

It was Kamen Rider.

Peter's jaw dropped.

"You... you're Kamen Rider?" he stammered, unable to believe what he was seeing.
