Jimin's POV
I was making lunch for Jungkook, Yoongi, Hoseok, and myself when I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Chim, I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier. I was just really angry about what he did to my brother. I couldn't, and I won't, forgive him. I'm really sorry for shouting; forgive me, please?"
Yoongi said, hugging me tighter. I wasn't angry at him anymore. How could I be angry at the person I love most? I was just waiting for his apology because it was the first time he'd ever shouted at me.
A few hours earlier~~~
After hearing Jungkook was pregnant, I was shocked and angry. How could Taehyung do that? They were getting married next month, and he'd just cancelled their engagement?! Who wouldn't be furious?
Yoongi was fuming. I followed him when he went downstairs; he was about to grab his keys, but I stopped him.
"Yoongi! Where do you think you're going?!"
"I'm going to beat Taehyung for what he did to my brother! Let go of me!"
He yanked my hand, but I stood in front of him, ignoring his glare.
"Don't stop me, Jimin. Get away from the door."
I was scared; his eyes were filled with hatred, but I wouldn't back down.
Jungkook needed him, he needed comfort. What if Yoongi did something that harmed him and the babies?
"No! You're not going out. You need to stay here, Yoongi. I understand how angry you are, but beating Taehyung up won't solve anything!"
"Understand?! You understand how I feel?! Then why aren't you getting out of my way?! I trusted that guy to take care of my brother! I even approved their marriage! But look what he did—he left my brother pregnant and heartbroken! How could you possibly understand that, Jimin?! How?!"
I was hurt and angry. This was the first time he'd shouted at me like this. It was like he'd forgotten that Jungkook was also like my younger brother and best friend.
"Yoongi, I understand because I feel the same! Yes, I'm angry, and I wanted to punch Taehyung too, but I'm thinking of the consequences! What do you think Jungkook would feel if we hurt Taehyung? Can't you see that Jungkook loves him so much?! Jungkook needs us now, he needs you, Yoongi!!!"
"Jungkook is like my younger brother and best friend, so I understand how you feel! But you have to think about Jungkook first before your anger; letting your anger take over won't do any good. Think about your younger brother first!"
I walked out. Fighting wasn't good for Jungkook; he needed comfort and protection, especially now that he was carrying another life.
I knocked on Jungkook's room but heard nothing, so I opened it slightly. What I saw melted my heart. Hoseok and Jungkook were cuddling asleep. I had a feeling Hoseok would help him move on.
I remembered asking Hoseok if he liked Jungkook; his reaction still makes me smile.
'I just wish you won't be the same as Taehyung, Hobi. Yoongi won't forgive you, especially me, as I'm backing you up in this pursuit of yours.'
I thought and quietly closed the door and went to my room.
Present time~~~
"Hey, Chim, please? Forgive me?"
I lowered the stove's heat to face him and cupped his face.
"Are you calm now?" I asked, and he nodded.
"I'm sorry, I won't do it again." he said, touching my hands on his face.
"Okay, I forgive you. Just remember that our priority is Jungkook and his child; we have to be there for him, alright?" I asked.
"I promise I'll keep that in mind and focus on Jungkook." he said, making me smile.
I pecked his lips and went back to cooking, with him still hugging me.
Author's POV
A few minutes later~
Jimin and Yoongi were putting food on the table when Hoseok approached.
"Oh, Hobi-hyung, good afternoon." Jimin said, smiling. Hoseok returned the greeting.
"How's Jungkook?" Yoongi asked, worried.
"He's still sleeping, but I know he's still hurt. Uhm, Yoongi… I uh…" Hoseok was nervous.
"What? Did you do something?" Yoongi asked, noticing his nervousness.
"Well, I… I asked Jungkook if I could court him, and he said he's not ready yet. I-I know it's sudden, but I promised him I'd wait until he's ready to open his heart again." He avoided eye contact.
"I'm not angry, Hoseok, don't worry. In fact, I'm happy because you're willing to wait for him and not force him to be your boyfriend. Thank you, but I will hunt you down if you make the same mistake as his ex-fiancé." Yoongi said, glaring intently.
"I promise I won't. I'll protect him and love him as he deserves. If I hurt him, I'll let you beat me," Hoseok replied determinedly.
"But, could I ask what his ex-fiancé's name is?" After Hoseok asked, Yoongi controlled his anger.
"Forget it; just saying his name pisses me off. I wanted to punch him so badly; if not for Jungkook, I'd have already beaten him to a pulp," Yoongi said, and Hoseok avoided asking again.
A month passed, and things weren't looking good. One day, Jungkook took a bottle of sleeping pills and almost drank them all. Hoseok, Yoongi, and Jimin were worried sick when they rushed Jungkook to the hospital. The doctor said that if they'd arrived a bit later, they could have lost him and the babies.
Yoongi, unable to contain his anger, called Taehyung, telling him he'd never accept him as the father of his babies and to never look for Jungkook again. Yoongi then changed their numbers and cut contact with Taehyung; he wanted Jungkook to forget him and focus on his children.
They thought the overdose was the last suicide attempt, but they were wrong. While spending time at the beach to help Jungkook forget Taehyung, he tried drowning himself while the three were at home.
Luckily, Hoseok went out to call Jungkook for lunch. He saw Jungkook's head in the ocean and immediately swam to him, lifting him up. Jungkook struggled, but Hoseok told him that killing himself also killed the life growing inside him.
Jungkook cried on his shoulder, letting Hoseok carry him back to the house.
After that, no more suicide attempts happened. Yoongi decided to move Jungkook, Jimin, and Hoseok to L.A. for a while. He also offered Hoseok a job at his company until he could start his own.
When Jungkook gave birth to his twins, Taeyang and Taegguk, he was glad he hadn't attempted suicide; he wouldn't have seen his angels grow. Yoongi became emotional when he saw the kids, and Jimin comforted him.
Hoseok smiled, seeing Jungkook getting better after his kids were born. He waited for Jungkook as he promised Yoongi and Jimin.
Three years passed, and Hoseok started his own company with Yoongi and Jimin's help. The kids grew up knowing him as their father, making Hoseok happy, but he told Jungkook they'd tell them the truth when they grew up so they could understand.
In those three years of waiting and caring for Jungkook, Hoseok's efforts paid off when Jungkook said yes when he asked to be boyfriends. He was so happy Jungkook accepted him; he promised to take care of them and shower them with love every day.
A year later, he proposed, and Jungkook said yes. The proposal wasn't fancy; he prepared a simple dinner on the beach with flowers. Yoongi and Jimin were happy to see Jungkook smiling again with someone he loved.
That winter, they got married and decided to live in Barcelona for a while and travel with the kids. Yoongi and Jimin stayed in L.A. for business, though they kept in contact.
They lived in Barcelona for two and a half years. There, they met Namjoon and Jin and became close friends. Jin told Jungkook he had a cafe in Seoul and would like some company.
Jungkook agreed and told Hoseok about working at Jin's cafe. The couple bickered, but Hoseok agreed because he didn't want Jungkook to be alone.
When they returned to Korea, they traveled to different places so the children could know their hometown. Months passed, and Hoseok went on a business trip with Namjoon, wanting to bring Jungkook.
However, he changed his mind when he found out Jungkook was pregnant with their children; he couldn't ask for more happiness.
Taeyang and Taegguk were happy to hear they'd have younger siblings. Even at six years old, they were smart and at the top of their class.
Jungkook was very happy and wanted to keep his family happy forever.
