In case some of you don't remember what happened in the last chapter of the present time, I will put it here :)
Taehyung's POV
I was watching both of them smiling and giggling at each other while playing with their children
Tears streaming down my face.
'If only I didn't make a mistake before, then maybe, just maybe Jungkook and I will be like that. Maybe I could also carry my children like that. I ruined everything, I destroyed my only happiness and hope'
'Jungkook, I hope you forgive me for what I've done. That's all I've wished for'
I was about to go away when someone called me, and that is.....

Hoseok's POV
I was so happy to see my baby and our babies healthy. I looked around and spotted Taehyung watching us, sadness was evident in his eyes. He might not have noticed me looking because he was about to leave, but I stopped him.
"Taehyung." He looked back, tears threatening to spill.
"Hey, baby, I have to do something. I'll leave you with Jin-hyung, okay?"
"Are you going to talk to him?" Jungkook asked, he's sharp •_•'.
"Yes, baby. Don't worry, I promise we won't fight. We'll just talk, alright?" I asked, and he nodded, pulling me in for a kiss.
"Be careful, okay? Both of you."
"I will, baby. You should rest." I said, kissing his head. I told Jin-hyung to watch over him for a while.
I left the room and saw Taehyung sitting on a bench outside.
"Hey, come on. Let's go and talk, like we used to." I said, and he looked up.
"D-did you know?" The fear and sadness in his eyes made it clear what he was asking.
I nodded. "Let's get a drink, like we always do." I said, smiling reassuringly. He stood, I put my arm around his shoulders, and we headed to the bar.
Author's POV
At the bar~~~
They went to the bar and ordered wine.
"Hoseok, I know you're mad at me, not just you, but Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook. I did the dumbest thing. I hurt him and abandoned him; I made the biggest mistake of my life." Taehyung confessed, tears falling.
"You're right, I'm mad. Really mad. I wanted to punch you, you know. I wanted to make you suffer, but I can't." Hoseok said, taking a sip of wine.
"Because of Jungkook, isn't it?" Taehyung asked.
"No. I can't because you're my friend. I can't because I saw how you suffered before, how you told me that leaving the one you love is the biggest mistake you ever made. I remember us always drinking and talking about your loved one; you always told me never to do that to my future lover. Back then, I didn't know you were his ex-fiancé. I didn't notice how similar your story was to Jungkook's. I was there when you were desperate to find him; you always said you wanted to apologize and ask for forgiveness. When I found out you were his ex-fiancé, my anger increased, but the longer I thought about it, the more it faded. I can't stay angry because I know how much you suffered because of your own mistakes."
Hoseok's words filled Taehyung with guilt.
"I'm so sorry, Hoseok. I… I didn't want to leave him. At that time, my father contacted me; he told me to come home to France to take over the family business. I refused, telling him I could live independently and would visit occasionally. But he threatened me, saying Jungkook would pay the price if I disobeyed. I was terrified. I'd only told my mother about Jungkook, and she'd promised my father wouldn't find out until I told him myself. I tried to refuse again, but he sent me a picture of Jungkook and repeated his threat. That's why I immediately packed my bags and left the country. I wanted to confront him, but the moment I arrived home, he confiscated all my devices, put me under 24/7 surveillance, and forbade me from contacting Jungkook again, threatening to harm both Jungkook and my mother. I had no choice but to obey. Then, a month into being in France, I got a call from his brother. That's when he told me Jungkook was pregnant and that he'd never accept me as the father of our children."
Taehyung sobbed, overcome with the memory.
"Yeah, I heard those words from Yoongi at the hospital. That's when Jungkook overdosed and almost died along with his children. You told me that after that call, you couldn't contact them anymore because Yoongi cut off all contact and brought us to L.A., where we started anew."
Hoseok remembered those terrifying moments when Jungkook almost died, but his anger subsided knowing Taehyung had also suffered immensely. He'd almost died from alcohol if not for Hoseok's intervention. Hoseok knew what Taehyung had been through, but he knew Taehyung should apologize to Jungkook, not him.
"You know, Taehyung, you shouldn't apologize to me. I'm not the one you wronged, it's Jungkook. Besides, I've already forgiven you, I can't stay mad at my friend. I know what you've been through these past years, I know how hard it's been for both of you. You should talk to him and apologize." Hoseok's words brought Taehyung some relief.
"B-but, I know he won't forgive me. I left him and our children. And if Yoongi knew about me, he'd definitely kill me." Taehyung said, causing Hoseok to chuckle.
"Yeah, he's the hardest one to apologize to. So, all I can say is good luck." Hoseok said, giving a thumbs-up.
"What a good friend you are, huh," Taehyung scoffed, a smile playing on his lips.
"That's what friends are for, V." Hoseok replied, patting his back and laughing.
Taehyung laughed too, he was glad Hoseok was there. He'd finally released some of his pent-up sadness and pain.
"By the way, here" Hoseok said, showing him a picture.
"Who are these kids?" Taehyung asked, looking at the picture of Taeyang and Taegguk.
"Your kids." The words hung in the air as Taehyung gazed at the picture, a wave of happiness washing over him as he saw his children for the first time.
"They're beautiful" He said tears of joy falling down his face.
"You deserve to see them at least, you're their father after all. " Hoseok told him.
"But they don't know me" taehyung said sadly. "Yeah, they don't. But that doesn't mean they couldn't."
When Hoseok said that, Taehyung quickly looked at him.
"What do you mean?" He ask.
"Well, Jungkook and I talked about it before, we decided that when they're at the right age, we will tell them their real father. I was happy when they called me appa but I couldn't let them live in lies. They deserve to know about you."
"A-and Jungkook agreed to that?" Taehyung asked not believing what he was hearing.
"Yeah, he even told me that he doesn't want your kids to know you're a bad father. So don't be afraid of asking for his forgiveness, because I know that Jungkook will forgive you. It will take time but you will be forgiven." Hoseok said and Taehyung was so happy and determined to apologize.
"I don't know for Yoongi though." Hoseok suddenly said and chuckled.
"You-" Taehyung was baffled by his friend suddenly making him nervous.
Their night went on with Hoseok telling him about Taeyang and Taegguk and assuring him everything is gonna be fine one day and they also talk about their memories and nonsense things.
