Mirae eyes widen as she saw her cousin Jisoo Kim.
"Jisoo, What are you doing here in Korea?" She asked and immediately gave him a hug. "Nah I just got back for good. I finished my doctrine in the US." he said as Mirae smiled at him.
"That is great to hear."
"I went from your house but seems like you run away from home." He said as Mirae lost her smile. "Did my parents asked you to find me?" she asked as Jisoo smiled. "Yeah they did but you know that I'm on your side right?" He reassured as Mirae nodded.
"I don't think your the type of girl that would run away like that." He said as he sat down on the couch. "Now tell me what happened for the four long years that I was gone huh?" he asked as Mirae smiled sadly as he knows a lot of things happen for her to go this far on bringing down Kyler back to the ground.
In Elian's office Nam Li didn't say a word as Elian gave him some papers.
"I'm sure Kyler won't just back off like that. He will come back to us eventually and start a war with us so we must be prepared at any cost incase if things would happen badly. You do know how unfair Kyler moves right?" He asked as Nam Li nodded.
"He's the same person as his mom when it comes to business like this." He said as Elian know how Kyler mind works.
"But are you still planning on bringing Kyler Jung down Boss? He's your own blood and nephew." He asked. Elian sat down on his swivel chair as he put both hands on chin looking mischievous.
"Sir, I received a message from the up coming dinner." Nam Li said as he looked into the chairman's email.
"Chairman Jung canceled the meeting as he will visit Hyun Jung personally in Canada to take him back here in Korea." Nam Li said as Elian smile banished.
"So Hyun Jung will also attend the said dinner huh, Why would Dad go there by himself? Did Hyun get into trouble?" He asked as Nam Li shrugged.
"I heard that Mr. Hyun got into a scandal about her recent ex that he left pregnant." Nam Li said as he read that article.
"Hmm I don't think that's a big case in the Jung's family." Elian thought as Nam Li looked back at the email.
"The chairman also said in his email sir that the madam want to see you." Nam Li looked at Elian as he looked displeased by the added information.
"Why would I meet her? She'll just yap about me getting married." Elian said as Nam Li knew that Elian and his mother are really not that close.
Since his mother is always in favor of his sister they never really bond that well as Elian worked hard to meet up with his grandparents expectations.
"Mirae, Watch over her she seems planning something more than taking Kyler down. Isn't that unusual?" Elian asked. "Unusual for what Sir?" he asked.
"Unusual for an ex to hate someone she once loved?" Elian asked as Nam Li looked at him as he smirked. "Why are you looking like that Sir?" Nam Li asked as Elian cannot helped but smile.
"I dunno I just cannot help but be curious about it, Should I meet my mom and check on my good sister on how she was doing? Ahhh so much fun..." Elian said as his face is flushed red like a dog in heat.
'He's a psycho indeed. Mirae didn't know on which devil she is dealing with.' Nam Li thought.
'If I were her I would rather choose Kyler than my own boss.' he added.
In the Jung's mansion where Kyler arrived he immediately went to his mother's office as he bang the door open.
"Mom!" He shouted as he was furious and mad. "What is it?" she asked as she let go of some documents she was reading as her secretary excuse herself to give them both a private time.
"Kyler, What did I told you about your temper? I'm working right now and your not a child anymore." His Mom said as Kyler slammed both hands on the table as it cracked the glass.
"Mirae is Elian's fiance!" he shouted as his Mom paused and starts laughing. "Why are you laughing?!" he asked as he was pissed.
"Good for us then since he's marrying a commoner!! Hah! He'll stoop this low just to step on our ego." She said as this is something that Elian wouldn't enter if he had nothing to do with.
"Mom you don't understand..." Elian said as his hands starts shaking. "I loved Mirae..." he said as Mirae is someone he loved truly.
"I love her so much... I did all of this because-" he stopped as his Mom glared at him.
"M-Mom..."
"Kyler you know that its already a game over the moment you left her didn't you?" she asked as Kyler shaked his head.
"No... Mirae will wait for me,"
"She won't, She already betrayed you by being Elian's fiance. Why would she even get married to that psycho?" His Mom asked as Kyler knew this isn't the reaction he want from his mother.
"Mom, Did you really care about me?" he asked as he remembered from the past on how Mirae took good care of him.
"Kyler Jung it seems like you don't understand it at all, Mirae took good care of you because she was indebt with our families goodness and now she's taking us down. She's evil Kyler." She explained.
"Han Seo Jung..." Kyler called his Mom's full name as his Mom stopped yapping and looked at him.
"Mirae won't do this without any good reason." he believed. "Mirae wiill always be my girl so don't you dare looked down on her." he added.
"Mirae will never looked at other guys." he said as Han Seo sighed knowing how her son is madly in love with that commoner.
"Then you should raise back to the top to take her back my loving son." she said as Han Seo knew that her mother won't agree on this marriage either.
The madam chairwoman waited in the garden as a man starts walking towards her and greeted her warmly.
"Welcome back Jisoo Kim, How was the investigation on going?" she asked as she sip on her cup of coffee. "Mirae Kim is with Elian Jung as she's building her own roman empire now." he said as he reported everything to the madam chairwoman Nesun Jung.
"That Elian really didn't learn and bought himself a commoner to marry. Did Nam Li Hyuk noticed you?" she asked knowing how sharp Nam Li is when it comes to Elian's interest.
"I think he did, I don't think he's the type to be naive in his surroundings." Jisoo said as he smirked after talking to Mirae and Kyler's break up.
"Would you wish to report this to the chairman?" Jisoo asked as the Chairwoman smiled. "Not at all, All good in the hood. I don't think her being a commoner will be a problem but if Kyler raise his concern about this then there might be a misunderstanding." she said as she looked at Jisoo's report.
"You know you just betrayed your own blood." she asked as Jisoo smirked knowing Mirae's action is all because of that happening.
"Mirae have her reason, I know she's strong to handle this betrayal." Jisoo said as the Chairwoman laughed.
"You know your a terrible liar Jisoo," she said as Jisoo smiled sadly.
"The chairman went to meet with your youngest son. Why does he have to do that every family dinner appointment?" Jisoo asked.
"You know the youngest child is the most favorite of the chairman himself." She explained.
"So Hyun Jung had an issue back then too but of course with the chairman's help then he's issue can be easily wiped off." The chairwoman said.
"Money could really give you power." He answered.
"Yeah it will definitely give you that. What did Mr. Kim do while her goodly daughter went missing for weeks?" She asked.
"He asked about Mirae's situation but I told them to let me handle her for now." Jisoo said.
"How about the money?" She asked as she glanced at Jisoo.
"Did he accept it?" She asked as Jisoo sighed and slowly nodded. "Yeah the Kim accepted the money of course." He said and thought about Mirae's reaction.
"Jisoo remember that your working for me do you understand that?" She wants reassurance from Jisoo himself as Jisoo smiled and kissed the chairwoman's hand.
"My loyalty is on yours madam no matter what..." He said as the chairwoman blew her smoke on his face.
She stood up and left Jisoo on the floor kneel down.
Jisoo slowly stand up and sighed sadly.
'Mirae I hope you'll forgive me...'
