Before the mother hen had the chance to release a fire breath, Zayden and Darian were already in front of her. Zayden punched her in her face, sending her flying a few inches away, while Darian ran up from behind.
Once close enough, he swung down his axe, aiming to end it in one go if possible, but things were not that simple. In a split second, the second horn of the mother hen glowed a bright red color, and a shield made out of fire appeared, blocking the attack. The rebound made Darian fly into the sky.
"BKAW!"
The mother hen crowed once again as her third horn glowed red. Magic circles just like Isara's appeared around Zayden and Darian, and from them, chains made out of fire appeared.
The chains moved with alarming speed, and before long, Zayden and Darian were bound by flaming chains. The first horn on the head of the mother hen glowed once again as she opened up her beak, a fierce orange light gathering.
"This is bad," Zayden said.
He was already manipulating his oblivion flux to corrode the chains, but even though they were being corroded, the rate of corrosion was too slow.
Zayden suddenly felt cold sweat roll down his forehead. It wasn't fear, but some primal intuition that he had to get out of here. But surprisingly, it wasn't coming from the mother hen, but from the bound Darian.
"Bull Of Mayhem"
Darian muttered in a very low voice that made it hard for him to be heard. Zayden turned his head to look at Darian and was surprised.
The red aura around Darian was raging, towering up into the sky as a transformation was happening around his body.
Two long bull-like horns came out of the side of his head, growing towards his forehead before curving upwards. His eyes changed color, with his sclera having a black color and his iris having a red color. His nose was elongated slightly, and a golden nose ring appeared on his nose.
His body started growing big, too big for the flaming chains to handle. The chains snapped open and before long, Darian was already a two and a half meter tall bull man.
"ROOAAR!!"
A roar escaped his mouth as he charged at the mother hen.
One should know that Darian was still level eleven, meaning that the mother hen was still six whole levels higher than him. But thanks to his bull of mayhem transformation, he had the same strength as someone four levels higher than him.
This wasn't enough to defeat the mother hen, but it was enough for him to hold out for a few minutes.
When he was close enough, Darian swung down his battle axe, which was covered in the same red aura. The second horn on the head of the mother hen glowed slightly as the shield of fire appeared to block the attack.
As the axe made contact with the shield, the impact made a slight gust of wind, to was released as Darian was sent flying backwards. But Darian didn't care; he charged at the mother hen once again and slammed his axe on the shield once again, but the same thing happened.
Just like that, a few minutes of Darian doing the same thing went by, and at this point, Zayden had already managed to corrode the chain.
With its flux coat activated, Zayden charged at the mother hen and punched the shield. His fist landed on the shield, leaving a little bit of oblivion flux there to corrode the shield. But just as before, the rate of corrosion was too slow, and the fire on the shield managed to burn the oblivion flux.
"Ice Blast"
A magic circle appeared in front of the shield as a blast of frost was blown onto the shield.
It was like ice and fire were struggling to gain control, as some part of the shield was frozen into ice while the fire was trying to melt the shield away.
"Darian quickly break the ice. I can't hold on for much longer," Isara shouted
Darian did as he was told and slammed his axe onto the frozen part of the shield, and it shattered, leaving the mother hen open to their attacks.
Multiple rounds of energy bullets landed on the body of the mother hen, pushing her back. She wasn't given any chance to rest as Valeria appeared with her sword. She swung her sword, cutting into the body of the mother hen. It was very deep, but not fatal enough to kill her.
"BKAAW!!"
The mother hen crowed in pain, but nobody in the team seemed to care. Zayden appeared in front of the mother hen, his fist covered in oblivion flux, and gave her a punch to the gut. The mother hen was sent flying into the air as Aiden jumped after her.
"Shield Slam"
He slammed his shield into the body of the mother hen, sending her crashing to the ground. Before she had the chance to stand up, Soren had already appeared, slamming his two fists into her body.
The mother hen was staggering at this point. It was very hard for her to stand up, and it seemed like she would fall to the ground any moment from now.
Nobody knew when, but Amara appeared behind the mother hen and stabbed her dagger into where the heart of the hen was supposed to be. The mother hen was weak and ready to die at any moment, and there was no way Zayden was going to leave any free EXP.
He charged at the mother hen, this time without holding anything back, and he slammed his fist into the face of the mother hen. At this point, the mother hen couldn't hold on anymore, and her head blew up.
"Ding!!"
The chime of the system could be heard in each of their ears as a system notification appeared in front of them.

The EXP crystals floating above the head of everyone glowed a golden light before the crystals floated into the hands of everyone.
In excitement, Zayden absorbed his EXP crystal as a golden glow covered his body, not just once but twice.

Seeing the increase in his stats, Zayden couldn't help but smile slightly. Zayden was about to turn around and address the team when the egg in his pocket came out. It floated high in the air for everyone to see and started glowing slightly.
From the head of all the chickens, the power shards flew out and floated towards the egg. It turned into streams of golden energy and flowed into the egg.
Everyone just stood there watching what was happening curiously. Once it was done, it gave a slight burp and floated into Zayden's palm. Zayden was surprised and decided to check the incubation rate of the egg.

He saw this and nodded his head slightly before turning to look at the team once again. Everyone was looking at him with expectation, but he didn't care.
"You've all done well," Zayden said. "While the rest are gathering up the food, the level tens can use this chance to evolve. Whether you succeed or not depends on your talent."
Seeing that he didn't want to talk about it, everyone was disappointed but decided to do as he said. Before he even had the chance to give them instructions, everyone had sat on the ground.
The golden light of levelling up came off their body, forming the golden cocoon.
"This is bad," Zayden suddenly said
"What happened?" Dare said, after all, his sister was among them.
"There are ladies among the.m"
"And so," Dare said
Zayden just looked at him weirdly as Dare came to the sudden realization.
"Can't we move the cocoons away?" Dare asked
"It will mess with the evolution."
Dare fell silent.
"Then I'll find somewhere else to stay, I don't want to be here when any of that happens."
"At least I gave them spare clothes."
The four of them walked into the storage room to help with the packing of food.
"Tyrel, don't peek," Zayden suddenly said
"What of those guys with them?" Tyrel refuted
"Don't peek," Zayden said and walked away
