Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Shameless Vincent, Show Off Then Flee

Facing Alice, Dr. Isaacs brimmed with absolute confidence.

Though both of them were mutants, his strength was indisputably superior.

"Alice, the serum you're looking for is right here in my hand. But the question is, how exactly do you plan on taking it from me?"

While speaking, Isaacs pulled a small blue glass vial from his coat pocket and began to toy with it.

It was the T-virus antidote.

The man smiled as he looked at Alice, not the least bit worried she might suddenly attack.

Just as the big boss Isaacs was basking in his arrogance, Vincent, who had been standing quietly beside Alice, suddenly moved.

Stillness turned to a violent storm.

A thunderclap seemed to split the room.

Boom!

A sharp cracking sound burst from the ground beneath Vincent as the marble tiles shattered underfoot.

And his entire body shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, hurtling toward Isaacs like rolling thunder.

Fast.

Too fast.

Vincent had unleashed his full strength with zero restraint.

Under this sudden assault, even Isaacs, seated calmly on the couch, had no time to dodge despite his enhanced reflexes.

Without a word, Vincent slashed with his blade.

A deadly strike with lethal intent.

In a desperate moment, Isaacs reacted instinctively, flinging himself backward in an attempt to avoid a fatal blow.

To his credit, he managed to narrowly evade the slash.

But he wasn't unscathed.

Slice!

Vincent's incredible strength cleaved through even Isaacs's reinforced body. Though Isaacs managed to dodge, one of his arms was left behind on the floor.

And it just so happened to be the same arm that had been holding the serum.

Vincent didn't even glance at Isaacs as he snatched the vial from the air and pocketed it.

Wesker, standing behind Isaacs, launched forward like a shadow to intercept.

He moved with eerie speed, like a ghost—almost too fast for the eye to follow.

But not fast enough for Vincent.

"Out of my way!"

With a low growl, Vincent struck out with a single punch, crashing directly into the incoming Wesker.

Boom!

A heavy thud echoed through the room.

Wesker flew backward like a cannonball and slammed into the wall, leaving a deep dent in the concrete.

The sudden turn of events left Alice and Carlos completely stunned.

By the time they realized what had happened, it was already over.

Isaacs was clutching a severed shoulder.

Wesker had been knocked senseless.

And the serum was already in Vincent's hands.

Alice and Carlos stared in disbelief.

That sudden burst of power from Vincent—it was like witnessing a ferocious beast awaken from hibernation.

Savage. Efficient. Terrifying.

His sense of timing was flawless. The ambush had been executed with perfect precision.

Of course, to Isaacs, Vincent's behavior was completely incomprehensible.

This brat just attacked without warning?

Wasn't there supposed to be some verbal sparring first? A round of smug villain speeches?

"You..."

Isaacs clutched the stump of his arm, trembling with a mix of shock and fury as he stared at Vincent, speechless.

Vincent, now holding the serum, finally felt at ease.

With this vial in hand, his mission was ninety-nine percent complete.

All that remained was one final step: to release the serum into the open air and eliminate the T-virus from the world.

But not here in the Hive.

The Hive was too sealed off, buried underground. The serum wouldn't circulate properly from inside.

He slipped the vial into his inner pocket and looked down at Isaacs, who was still seething in disbelief.

"Let me give you a piece of advice. Villains die from talking too much."

With that, Vincent didn't bother finishing off Isaacs.

He simply turned to leave.

Because he saw Isaacs reaching for a gun.

And with Isaacs's level of strength, a firearm could still pose a threat.

Vincent had no interest in risking everything now that the objective was nearly complete.

Not worth it.

"Alice, I'm leaving the rest to you. I need to get outside and release the serum. I'm going to save the world."

With those words, Vincent turned and walked away, leaving behind a completely bewildered Alice and Carlos.

There was no other way to describe it.

Vincent was downright shameless.

He ran off and dumped the mess on Alice's lap.

Especially considering that Isaacs still had plenty of fight left, and Wesker could get up any moment.

Leaving Alice behind like that? That was pure betrayal.

Of course, Vincent wasn't too worried.

After all, Alice was the main character of this world. With the power of protagonist plot armor, she'd figure something out.

Watching Vincent disappear, Isaacs roared with rage.

"Stop him!!"

Wesker, hearing the order, immediately sprang into action.

Alice, naturally, wasn't going to just stand by and watch. She moved in to block Wesker.

The local showdown between native powerhouses had officially begun.
