Chapter 129 - Chapter 129: “The God in the Eye”

The sky cracked.

Above Mount Reikan, silver thunder rippled through the clouds. The world shuddered. And time… paused.

Just for a second.

Birdsong died mid-note.The wind forgot to move.Even the stars above blinked out.

Ryuki stood at the center of it all.

Six spirals burned across his chest. His eye—once shattered and broken—Now held a complete, divine pattern.

The rings no longer spun.

They watched.

Eri took a step back.

He wasn't glowing.

He wasn't levitating.

He just was.

Still. Calm. Endless.

The God in the Eye had awakened.

And Ryuki was only barely still inside it.

She reached out to him.

"Ryuki…?"

His gaze slowly turned.

He blinked.

And the world behind her melted.

Mountains aged to dust.Trees turned to saplings, then seeds, then ash.Birds unraveled mid-flight.

With a gasp, Ryuki clutched his face.

The glow stopped.

The mountain was whole again.

Eri caught him as he stumbled.

He breathed hard.

"…I saw everything," he whispered.

She held his hand.

"What did you see?"

His voice was hollow.

"The end of the Shinobi world."

Flash—Forward?

Or back?

The eye couldn't tell anymore.

Ryuki stood in a different world.

Civilians. No chakra. No shinobi. No nations.

But something wrong still lingered.

A building… with a spiral flag.

Children born with marks on their skin.

And one of them—

Had Ryuki's face.

Back in the real world—

Ryuki gritted his teeth.

Time was folding in on itself.

Memories from futures that never happened…Were becoming real.

The six spirals weren't fragments of a weapon.

They were locks.

Not to power.

To something trapped in time.

Something trying to escape.

Eri whispered.

"What if… the sixth spiral wasn't meant for you?"

Ryuki looked at her.

And saw it then.

Her spiral was growing again.

Like it wanted to finish what it started.

Suddenly—A sharp sound.

Like metal tearing reality.

The unconscious silver-haired boy behind them rose, eyes glowing with unstable rings.

But they weren't real spirals.

They were forged copies.

Twisted. Corrupted.

"I won't lose," he snarled.

His body pulsed—

And behind him, a second version of himself stepped out of thin air.

A clone?

No.

Another him.

From a different timeline.

Eri stepped forward.

Her spiral burned.

She raised her hand.

And the mountain shook.

Ryuki's eye pulsed.

He saw a flash—

Eri, older. Alone. Her eye glowing.Calling herself the Keeper of Time.Fighting him.

He blinked.

Back to now.

Eri looked scared.

"Ryuki. It's me."

He didn't answer.

Because deep inside, the eye was whispering something new.

A name.

Not a human one.

A name older than chakra.

"Tengoku."

"The first."

"The original owner of the spirals."

And he realized—

The fragments were not just choosing a host.

They were resurrecting their master.

Piece by piece.

And Ryuki… was the vessel.

Somewhere deep in time—

A sealed figure opened one eye.

A perfect spiral.

He smiled.

"Almost home."
