Chapter 128 - Chapter 128: “The Sixth Spiral”

Six Fragments.

One left.

The final piece pulsed at the edge of existence—Hidden not in stone or flesh,But in time itself.

Ryuki knew it now.

The visions weren't glimpses.

They were warnings.

Eri slept.

Wrapped in old blankets.Breathing soft. Still healing.

Ryuki watched her from across the room.

The spiral on her forehead was faint now.

Dormant.

But not gone.

She wasn't just connected to the fragments.

She was created by them.

A key.

A vessel.

Or maybe—A sacrifice.

He didn't know yet.

And he hated it.

A crow tapped the window.

Sai's messenger bird.

Ryuki opened the scroll.

Four words.

"He's moving. Be ready."

Hidden Rain.

The silver-haired boy stood before a hollow shrine of glass and bone.

The sixth spiral floated in the air.Sealed by time.Locked by a name.

He whispered it:

"Uzumaki."

The spiral flickered.

He placed his hand forward.

Blood spilled.Symbols turned.The fragment pulsed.

Across the world, Ryuki collapsed.

Pain split through his skull.

His eye burst open.

The vision began again—

Future.

He stood in the ruins of the final battlefield.

Stone torn.Time fractured.

And in front of him—Eri knelt.

But not Eri.

Not anymore.

Her spiral glowed red-hot.

Her eyes blank.

Her mouth spoke a name that wasn't hers:

"We are the Dojutsu."

"We remember what the world tried to bury."

Then—

She attacked.

And Ryuki… didn't fight back.

The vision shattered.

He gasped awake.

Eri jolted beside him.

"Ryuki—?!"

He looked at her. Really looked.

The spiral on her forehead was growing.

Slowly. Subtly.

Crawling toward her eyes.

If she awakened fully—

She'd no longer be Eri.

He stood.

Grabbed his cloak.

She grabbed his wrist.

"Don't go alone."

"I have to."

"You're lying."

He paused.

"…Then follow me. But don't stop me."

Mount Reikan.A forgotten mountain near the border of Grass and Rain.

The air was thin. The winds didn't howl—they whispered.

At its peak—The final fragment floated in a sealed chamber,Surrounded by dead time.

Frozen trees.Birds paused mid-flight.

The silver-haired boy stood in front of it.

Waiting.

Ryuki arrived.

No words.

No threats.

Just silence.

Then—

They moved.

Clash.

Spiral against spiral.

Five against one.

Time folded.Light broke.

Ryuki struck first—Kunai reinforced by the fifth spiral's temporal edge.

The boy blinked—literally—out of time.

Appeared behind Ryuki.Kicked.

Blocked.Counter.Grab.

Eri appeared mid-flash—chakra rope wrapping around the fragment.

The boy roared.

Spirals ignited.

The sixth fragment shivered.

It wanted Ryuki.

But it chose Eri.

Flew into her chest—

And everything froze.

The World Split.

One half light.

One half shadow.

Ryuki stood in the middle. Alone.

A voice echoed.

"Do you accept the full burden?"

"Do you understand what you'll become?"

He said nothing.

The spirals on his chest burned.

Then he whispered:

"Yes."

The sixth fragment entered his heart.

And the world shattered.

Back on the peak—

Eri screamed.

Ryuki knelt before her.

His body glowing.Veins black with power.Eye spinning faster than anything human.

The broken Dojutsu was no longer broken.

Six rings.

Each holding a piece of fate.

The silver-haired boy lay unconscious.

Defeated.

For now.

But not dead.

Ryuki stood.

The sky above them turned silver.

Clouds formed a spiral.

Thunder whispered his name.

He had all six.

But something felt wrong.

Eri touched his arm.

"Ryuki…"

He looked at her.

And for the first time—

She flinched.

His eyes weren't his anymore.

They belonged to something older.

Something beyond human.
