💍(Proposal at the Wedding Hall)
The air carried the delicate fragrance of cherry blossoms and soft jazz music as friends and family filled the beautifully decorated glass garden wedding hall in Aozora City.
The venue was romantic and glowing — high ceilings draped with soft cream fabric, tulip arrangements on every table, and warm lights reflecting off the glass walls. Outside, a gentle breeze danced through the petals of nearby flowering trees.
It was the long-awaited wedding of Zhou Rui and Lin Junxi.
💐 A Beautiful Ceremony
Zhou Rui stood tall and serene in a satin-white dress with pearl buttons trailing her back. Her bouquet was a modest bunch of white and pastel tulips, and in her eyes, only Junxi existed.
Junxi, in his navy-blue suit and signature quiet charm, looked both proud and gentle.
Their vows were brief but sincere.
"I don't need promises," Zhou Rui said, "because you've already been the promise I never expected."
Junxi squeezed her hand. "You were always the one."
Tianxin nearly dropped her camera from crying, and Jiasheng silently handed her a tissue.
📸 Pictures & the Flower Toss
After the wedding feast, it was time.
The flower toss.
Zhou Rui, giggling, turned around. "Hope this finds the right person!"
She tossed the tulip bouquet with a dramatic flair.
The room watched it arc... and land squarely in Shan Jiasheng's hands.
Gasps. Laughter. A few claps.
Tianxin's jaw dropped.
Jiasheng blinked at the bouquet, then slowly turned toward Tianxin — eyebrows raised with the cockiest smirk in existence.
"I didn't plan this," he said, walking toward her, "but the universe clearly has jokes."
🌷 The Proposal in the Courtyard
He gently took her hand and led her outside, to the softly lit courtyard where petals danced under fairy lights.
"Tianxin," he began, holding the tulips behind his back. "We've been through stupid fights, sneaky plans, sugarcane juice debts, and a lot of shoulder punches from you…"
She chuckled nervously.
He stepped closer.
"But even in the middle of all that chaos — it's always been you. My annoying, loud, paint-smudged 'Lil Bro.'"
She blinked. "Jiasheng—"
He pulled out the bouquet and knelt on one knee.
"I'm not perfect. I'm probably the least romantic person alive. But if you let me, I want to annoy you forever."
"Marry me, Tianxin."
She looked at the bouquet. Tulips — her favorite. She looked at his trembling hand.
Then she laughed through her tears and grabbed his collar.
"I will marry you — but only if you give me free ice cream for life."
He stood up and pulled her into a hug.
"Deal. Even mango flavor."
"And cookies 'n cream?"
"Don't push your luck."
They both laughed, still holding each other under the fairy lights.
