"Water Style: Great Exploding Water Shockwave!"
A towering tsunami surged toward Kevin Cross and Uchiha Izumi.
Kevin was still lacking in battlefield experience, especially compared to someone like Kisame Hoshigaki, who had grown up immersed in combat. Even with the support of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, the slightest lapse on Kevin's part gave Kisame the opening he needed.
If Kisame had launched a direct attack on Kevin, Kevin's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan could've easily blocked it. But this time, Kisame had a different goal to assist Itachi Uchiha.
With that one jutsu, Kevin and Izumi were forced to momentarily retreat. It gave Kisame and Itachi the perfect chance to escape.
By the time Kevin and Izumi recovered and tried to track them down, the two had already vanished.
"Sorry, Izumi. Kisame ended up interfering with your fight because of me… and they both got away," Kevin said apologetically.
"It's fine. Itachi getting away isn't a big deal. Besides, even without Kisame, catching someone like Itachi wouldn't have been easy. He's still got aces up his sleeve. He was a prodigy from the start," Izumi replied with a calm smile. "But at least we got Kotoamatsukami, his biggest trump card. That's not a bad outcome at all."
As she spoke, she held up the Mangekyō Sharingan in her hand.
"Kotoamatsukami?" Kevin looked curiously at the eye. In the Naruto world, Shisui Uchiha's Kotoamatsukami was legendary rarely seen but incredibly powerful. It was hailed as the ultimate genjutsu, able to rewrite a person's will without them realizing it.
"You want it? Here. Take it," Izumi said casually, tossing the eye over to Kevin.
Kevin caught it easily. "I was just curious, that's all. I didn't actually plan on keeping it. Are you sure? This thing can rewrite anyone's will. You could make anyone your servant Itachi included."
"I don't need servants."
"Well, in that case, I'll hold onto it for now. Who knows, might come in handy someday," Kevin said with a grin as he stashed the eye away.
"I just hope you won't waste it on seducing women," Izumi teased with a sideways glance.
"Do I look like I need to use genjutsu to get women?" Kevin rolled his eyes.
"Well, you are the kind of guy who dreams of building a harem. If some stunning girl showed up"
Kevin rolled his eyes even harder. "You want the eye back?"
"Kidding! Don't take it so seriously."

After wrapping up a few more trades in the ninja world with Izumi deals with the Cloud, Stone, Sand, and even Mist villages Kevin decided it was time to leave. The remaining transactions were minor, involving small villages that posed little danger. There was no real need for him to tag along anymore.
Besides, with Izumi's strength, there were hardly any opponents in the current ninja world who could threaten her perhaps only Nagato with his Rinnegan could give her trouble.
Back in the Marvel world, Kevin had nothing much to do. So, he snapped a few photos and posted them in the chat group, tagging Spider-chan on purpose.
When Spider-chan opened the chat, what greeted her was a barrage of food photos nothing fancy, just burgers, pizzas, and, of course, the ultimate indulgence: ice-cold fizzy cola.
The moment she saw them, she nearly exploded.
"Aaaargh! You bastard, you absolute demon of a group leader! Posting those pictures and tagging me?! Are you even human?! Are you a devil?! ARE YOU A DEVIL?!" she howled in the chat.
"I just took some shots of my lunch and shared them with everyone. What's the big deal?" Kevin replied with exaggerated innocence.
"You tagged me, didn't you?! Burgers! Pizza! COLA! Especially the cola! Waaaaah! It's been so, so long since I've had anything like that! Everything here tastes awful bitter, dry, and poisonous!" Spider-chan was practically in tears.
"Well, nothing I can do about that. You didn't agree to unlock the group's functions, so things like pizza, burgers, cola even a slice of frosted cake can't be sent to your world."
"Lies! You're doing this on purpose! You're trying to tempt me! I'm just a poor little spider, but you're going out of your way to torment me like this! Are you some kind of pervert who's into non-human creatures like me?!" Spider-chan protested dramatically.
"I'm not into spiders. Don't be ridiculous."
"So you're going to let me off the hook, then?"
"Nope. I might not be into spiders, but I am into gorgeous women. Especially the stunning ones," Kevin answered shamelessly.
"Eh? Ehehe… Stunning? You're exaggerating, really! Hehehe…" Spider-chan giggled, clearly flattered despite trying to play coy.
"So, Spider-chan. Once you transform into a beauty, become my woman," Kevin invited smoothly.
"No! I told you, I haven't made up my mind yet! I haven't!" she protested loudly.
"Too bad. Guess I'll be enjoying all this food by myself then. I'm thinking of checking out a Michelin three-star restaurant later. Who knows what delicacies I'll discover..."
"Wait, what?! A Michelin three-star?! Are you serious?!" Spider-chan was suddenly wide awake.
"Of course I'm serious. But don't worry, I'll take plenty of photos. I'll make sure to capture every dish in perfect detail so clear that you can practically taste the aroma and texture through the screen."
"You're a monster. A sadistic monster!" Spider-chan shrieked, rolling on the floor in agony.
"They say that the finest ingredients deserve the simplest preparation methods to let the true flavor shine. I'm curious how a Michelin chef handles that philosophy."
"Group leadeeerrrrrr…"
"I might even send a few red envelopes to the chat while I'm there. Who knows, maybe a lucky few will get a bite of something truly exquisite."
"Wait what?! Red envelopes? With food?! Actual food?!"
"Too bad you didn't agree to become my woman. Without full access to the chat group's features, you can't even claim a red envelope. All you can do is use this chat as a basic messaging board."
Thud.
Spider-chan spit blood.
