The sun shined beautiful but the only thing no shining was Jason. The morning was hell for him. He woke up with a bad headache, probably from drinking too much. I mean, what kind of person drinks a whole bottle of Tequila. He washed up and took some medication for the hangover. As the CEO of a big company, he had a daily routine which was prior to work.
Breakfast already awaited him at the dining. Why not? He is the young master. After having his breakfast, he was drove off to work by Mr. Lamphawot. On the way to the company, the fight between him and Fai kept occuring in his mind. He knew he wasn't going to live it down easily. He hurt Fai with his words. He just told his self to forget about it. He had a meeting to get to and wouldn't want any form of stress.
Mr. Lamphawot stopped the car at the front of the company. Jason got off and headed for his office. When he got to the entrance of his office, he was stopped by Chan.
Chan:
Sir, the investors are already waiting.
Jason:
I know. Is everything ready?
Chan:
Yes.
Jason:
Good, let's go then.
He said as he started walking.
Chan:
I'm right at you back, sir.
Chan trailed him like a cute puppy following its owner.
As they both walked through the hallway, Chan noticed that others were staring at him but their eyes averted when Jason casted a glare at them.
They soon reached the meeting room and Jason entered it holding the door open for Chan to go inside first. This made Chan's heart race.
Chan:
Thank you sir
He said with a sweet smile on his face.
Jason gestured Chan to seat beside his seat and sat down at the head of the table. Some people sat down while others remained standing and Chan noticed the investors glaring at him, whispering quietly to each other. Then the meeting started.
The meeting went on for about twenty minutes and Chan was starting to get tired of sitting, shifting a bit in his seat.
Chan:
What's wrong with this seat?
Chan said as he repeated shifted his body from one side to another.
Jason looked at Chan with the corner of his eyes, a slight smirk playing on his face .
Jason:
Is the seat uncomfortable?
He asked
Chan:
No sir, it's fine.
He said forcing his lips together
Jason:
Just answer me honestly, it won't bother me.
He said looking from you, as he continued to answer one of the investors question.
Chan:
A little bit sir.
He finally said in surrender
Jason let out a soundless sigh and glanced at Chan again. An amused smirk playing on his face.
Jason:
Come here.
Chan raised an eyebrow, confused.
Chan:
Huh?
Jason gestured for Chan to come closer, his eyes back on the investors.
Chan:
Ok
Chan stop up from his seat, still confused
Jason waited as Chan walked over, he then grabbed Chan's wrist so he was sat on Jason's laps, which surprised him, a surprised squeak left Chan's lips. Jason let go of Chan's wrist to continue the meeting, while Chan was blushing a little. No one seemed to pay attention to them.
Jason felt bad Chan was uncomfortable on the seat that's why that action was sort of unexpected from him.
Chan stared back at the investors
Chan:
Mr. Jason, what are you doing? There are people here and this is inappropriate.
Jason's eyes flickered to Chan quickly before going back to the investors.
Jason:
Shut up, Chan
He muttered quietly so only Chan and the investors sitting close to him could hear.
Chan:
Sir let me stand up.
He said trying to let himself out of Jason's grip.
Jason clicked his tongue before finally wrapping an arm around Chan's waist, effectively preventing Chan from leaving his lap. Jason ignored the glances the other people threw at them, which irritated Chan.
Jason was acting like Chan was the CEO, and not the one sitting at the other side of the table giving Chan the looks of jealousy and confusion.
Chan was still trying to free himself
Chan:
Sir please. I don't like this stares people are giving me.
Jason looked at Chan again, his eyes softening a little as he noticed Chan's expression.
He glanced at the investors again and sighed.
Jason:
This meeting is dismissed.
He said, looking back at Chan.
Jason:
Wait till they leave.
Chan stared at Jason, eyes wide with disbelief.
Chan:
What? You can't just dismiss the meeting. And please let me go.
Jason rolled his eyes, his grip on Chan's waist tightening a bit.
Jason:
Shut up and wait.
He said his voice firm again.
Chan:
Sir don't do this.
Jason sighed as the last person exited the room and the door closed with a click, leaving both him and Chan in the room alone.
Jason:
Chan
He said releasing Chan's waist
Jason:
Look at me.
Chan turned to him, pouting.
Chan:
Yes?
Jason grabbed Chan's chin, making him look at him
Jason:
You're so damn annoying.
He muttered
Chan:
What? How?
Chan asked slightly offended
Jason ignored Chan's question
Jason:
Do you even realize how you look right now?
He asked
Chan raised an eyebrow
Chan:
How do I look?
Jason glanced over at the empty chair then back at Chan, raising an eyebrow at Chan.
Chan was still confused
Chan:
What?
Jason sighed before pounding the bridge of his nose again.
Jason:
You don't realize how the people looked at you with envy.
He spoke
Chan pointed a finger at himself
Chan:
Me? Envious of me?
Jason scoffed
Jason:
Don't tell me you didn't see how they gazed at our direction
He asked
Chan:
I did but I didn't know they were envious
Chan said in a low voice
Jason clicked his tongue and shook his head
Jason:
You are blind
Chan expression changed at his statement
Chan:
Sir to be frank. Please don't ever do that. I was not comfortable.
Jason sighed, a hint of guilt in his eyes.
Jason:
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable.
He said and he sounded genuine.
Chan shook his head slightly
Chan:
It's okay. Shall we head out? You have dinner with Mrs Joan
Jason groaned, remembering about the said "date"
Jason:
That woman is a pain in the ass to deal with.
Chan eyes was still fixated on his position, blushing non-stop
Chan:
She's waiting at the restaurant.
Jason reluctantly let Chan get up from his lap and stood up, straightening his suit.
Jason:
Let's get this over with
Chan:
Ok, sir. The SUV is waiting outside.
Jason started heading out once his suit looked okay, he looked back at Chan.
Jason:
You're coming too.
Chan:
Ok sir.
Chan obeyed instantly
Jason studied Chan's movements before nodding.
Jason:
Fine
He said giving in and resuming his walk out of the room.
