Alarms rang across Tiara City. The sky was turning dark, not from night—but from smoke.
Hundreds of Corrupted Beasts had surrounded the capital. Their bodies were twisted, eyes glowing faint red. Their roars echoed through the hills, making the ground shake.
Tiara was the capital of Valor Dukedom, and tonight, it was under siege.
In front of the castle walls, around five hundred soldiers had gathered. They wore armor and carried swords, spears, and bows. But their hands were shaking. No one expected the beasts to come so fast.
At the front stood Captain Raen Helberg. He wore black armor with a dark blue cape. He was the leader of the Obsidian Moon Knight Order, the second strongest knight order in the dukedom.
His sword was on his back, and his calm face gave the soldiers some hope.
Raen looked at the creatures moving through the city gates. His voice was strong.
"We hold the line. No beast reaches the castle."
He turned to his vice-captain.
"Maikel Hesli. Take fifty soldiers. Go protect the Duchess. She's about to give birth."
Maikel stepped forward quickly. "Yes, Captain. I'll guard her with my life."
"You must," Raen said. "The heir of the dukedom is more important than any of us."
Maikel didn't waste time. He took fifty soldiers and ran toward the inner castle.
Inside the Castle
The Duchess lay on her bed. Sweat ran down her forehead. The pain was getting worse.
"The child is coming," said the midwife. "Stay strong, my lady."
Outside, guards waited nervously. The roars were getting louder.
Soon, Maikel arrived with his team. His face was serious.
"Guard every entrance," he shouted. "Nothing gets through. We protect the Duchess at all costs."
Castle Wall
Back on the wall, Raen raised his right hand. A small layer of blue aura surrounded his body. It was cold, like smoke made of statr.
He slowly drew his sword. The blade absorbed a bit of his aura and glowed faintly black.
The first beast, a huge one with spikes on its back, jumped over the outer fence. It ran toward the gate, roaring.
Raen moved fast. He vanished for a second and appeared right in front of it. His sword cut straight through its neck. The beast's head dropped to the ground, steam rising from the wound.
"Focus!" Raen shouted. "Don't lose formation!"
Another beast lunged at him—this one smaller but faster. Raen blocked its claws with his left arm guard and slashed upward with his sword. A clean cut tore through the beast's chest.
Blood spilled, black and thick like tar.
More came.
Raen stood tall, aura building around his shoulders and sword.
"Obsidian Slash."
He took one clean step forward and slashed in an arc. A wave of black energy shot out and tore through three beasts at once. Their bodies flew backward like broken dolls.
The other knights, inspired by him, roared and charged with their captain.
The wall turned into chaos. Men fought with everything they had. Arrows flew. Swords clashed with beast claws. The smell of smoke, blood, and burning flesh filled the air.
Raen moved like a storm. His aura wasn't flashy—it was tight, cold, and precise.
Slash. Block. Step. Kill.
Every motion had a purpose. He didn't waste a second. Even with blood on his armor, his stance didn't break.
Final Stand
The outer wall started shaking. Cracks appeared on the northern tower.
Raen stood on the battlefield, only twenty soldiers left around him. His armor was scratched. His sword, chipped.
Still, his eyes were calm.
"Even if we fall here," he said quietly, "the heir lives. That is enough."
He gathered the last of his aura.
"Obsidian Moon – Final Guard."
He stepped forward.
One slash. Two beasts fell. One more step.Another beast collapsed.
Even surrounded, Captain Raen Helberg fought like a wall that would never fall.
Inner Castle
Inside the castle, the Duchess screamed in pain. Maikel stood just outside the chamber. He could hear both her cries and the growls from nearby halls.
"They're coming!" shouted a soldier from the hallway.
"Stand your ground!" Maikel ordered. "Don't let them past the second gate!"
A beast smashed through the wooden door. Maikel's sword was ready.
Clang!
Steel met claw. Maikel's aura flared lightly, a soft golden hue. He pushed the beast back and stabbed it through the throat.
Another beast jumped at him. He dodged, rolled, and cut across its belly.
"I won't let you near her," he said under his breath.
Behind him, the cry of a baby broke through the air.
The heir was born.
The night Tiara shook was not remembered for its terror—
But for the child who survived it.
Born amid blood and flame.
The heir of Valor.

Darkness.
That was all he felt at first.
Soft warmth surrounded him. His body was weak—small, like it was made of paper. But his mind was still there, floating in confusion.
Where am I…?
Suddenly, light burst through the black. Adrian opened his eyes.
Screams. Metal. Roars.
The ceiling above him was made of carved stone. It shook with every explosion outside. Shadows flickered from torchlight. There were people around him—but they looked blurry.
Adrian lay wrapped in a soft cloth, resting in the arms of a maid who trembled with fear.
Is this… a baby's body? I… died?
His heart was beating fast, but it wasn't fear—it was disbelief.
No cameras. No stage. No fans. No hotel suites. What kind of drama set is this?!
He blinked slowly. His tiny head could barely move. But through the door, he saw armored men fighting beasts with swords and glowing energy.
Is this a movie? A special effects scene?
Another beast lunged at a knight—and got split in half by one sword slash glowing with dark aura.
Okay... that's not CGI.
He glanced around the room.
Stone walls. Wooden beams. A fire burning in a corner. The smell of blood and sweat in the air. No phones. No screens. Just fear, armor, and magic.
Where am I? God save me. I'm not on Earth. I'm not Adrian Skyre the superstar anymore. What am doing in this baby's body.
He swallowed hard—well, he tried. His baby throat couldn't do it properly.
Is this another world or something. Please tell me it's just a dream. Please.
The maids noticed his bewildered look. The maid rocked him gently, whispering, "It's okay, little prince… You're safe now. Your father will return soon."
Prince? Wait... did she just say prince? But my beautiful lady who are you?
The sounds of battle continued outside. The knight in black armor—who clearly commanded the others—was now holding the hallway by himself.
What is that guy doing? That guy's a beast. Is this auro or qi or superpowers?
He looked down at his tiny hands.
So, you are telling me, I am in a world of monsters and knight. What bullshit. It's just a dream, just sleep already.
He sighed inwardly. Then he tries to sleep. But the battle sounds seem too real for him, so he cannot sleep.
I have to wake up. It's a dream. Where's my agent where did he go?
Roars echoed through the stone corridors of Tiara Castle.
Outside, corrupted beasts slammed against reinforced gates. Swords clashed. Men screamed. The ground trembled beneath the weight of battle.
But inside the duchess's chamber, time felt still.
Wrapped in soft blankets, Adrian blinked his newborn eyes for the first time. The world around him was blurry, loud, and cold—but he felt arms pull him close.
Duchess Elenora, his mother, held him against her chest, her hands still trembling from labor.
Tears filled her eyes, but she smiled anyway.
"You're here," she whispered. "My little one… You came into this world during fire and blood. But you're safe now. I swear it."
Bro, it seems too real. Am I still dreaming?
Adrian's tiny fingers twitched. His past life memories floated faintly in the back of his mind. The cameras. The fame. The empty parties. And now—this.
A heartbeat. A tear. A mother.
This… this feels real.
The door creaked open. Two maids—Mari and Clara—peeked in, their faces pale.
"My lady," Mari whispered, "Captain Raen is still holding the outer walls. But they say… the beasts are growing in number."
Elenora didn't flinch. She tightened her hold on her baby.
"Let them come," she said, voice soft but strong. "My son was born today. That is all that matters."
Clara stepped closer. "He's so calm… Look at him. He's not even crying."
Mari leaned in, whispering, "He's already noble."
Adrian blinked at them, face blank.
Please stop praising me like a painting. I'm just trying to process the fact that monsters are breaking down the walls.
Still, when Clara gently stroked his cheek, and Mari wrapped another soft cloth around him, he didn't resist. Their hands were warm. Their fear was real. And so was their care.
"He has the Duke's eyes," Mari said.
"No," Elenora smiled faintly. "He has mine… and the courage of both."
A sudden roar echoed again. A wall somewhere shook.
Elenora gently placed Adrian in a small cradle, her hand still resting on his chest.
"Sleep if you can, my little light. Your father and reinforcement are coming."
After some pause.
"One day, you'll walk among them… But for now, stay here. With me."
Adrian looked up at her, face unreadable—but in his mind, one quiet thought passed:
For once… I think I might actually like this role.
