As I took my seat at the back row. "Hey prey,... get out of there. Bret and I wanna make out." Brianna yelled walked towards me. I smirked, then suddenly changed my expression. "Do I look like I'm in a good mood?" I asked, my voice deep and scary. "F***. Off." I said with finality and for the first time, she backed off. I could feel the dangerous aura hovering around me.
It really felt good to be bad. The drive to the chemical plant took 3 hours. When we finally got there, it was 10 o'clock. Everyone alighted the bus and followed Jayden into the facility. At the reception, we met with a middle aged man, probably in his late thirties. He had brown hair and eyes. He was dressed in a lab coat.
"Good morning to you students. I'm Lance Chen and I welcome you to my chemical plant. Now do observe these rules. Rule one, do not in anyway touch anything. Most of the acids here are highly concentrated and that makes them dangerous. Rule two, stay close together. We don't want you wandering off and getting lost in this big place. Rule three, feel free to ask questions where you need clarification. Do enjoy your stay here. Now follow me."
The man led us round the facility, explaining and demonstrating how things worked. I quickly got bored. As the tour went on, we reached a room labeled 'Low concentrate acid ward'. I heard Lance's voice explain, "These chemicals have been properly diluted to the point that it can cause severe physical damage when it comes in contact with someone." The rest of what he was saying faded off as I broke away from the rest of the group.
"I wonder what you have in mind now." Starwick said rolling his eyes as he followed me. I climbed up a few metal stairs until I was standing directly above a vat of medium concentrate bleaching cream. "Beautiful." I whispered. Starwick continued to observe me.
I turned to Starwick then said, "I don't like this look." I paused a while then smiled, "Should I change it?" "How do you plan to change it." he asked, confused. I looked down at my the ring, the second black diamond had turned blue. "How? You haven't even done anything." Starwick said. I whispered, "Oh yes I have." I started to walk backwards, away from him till I came to the edge of the metal landing. "Don't tell me you're going to jump." he said, his voice failing to hide his shock.
I smiled, "I don't have to jump,... falling backwards will do just fine." Closing my eyes, I fell backwards, my whole body heading towards the acid below me. "Look!" someone among the students yelled. Gasped filled the air. "That's Livana!" I heard Brianna call out before my body collided with the liquid below.
It took a few minutes before I managed to climb out of the chemical vat. The acid stung seriously but I derived pleasure instead of pain from it. "Don't go to close to her." I heard Lance command. "Livana Muldoon! What were you thinking?!" Jayden yelled. That's the point, I wasn't. I chuckled to myself. "The name's Scarlett,... Livana is long gone." I smirked.
