On a distant world, far from the eyes of dying star, chaos is happening anywhere.
Flames devoured forests. Blackened clouds thundered over shattered cities. Monstrous creatures roamed freely, their grotesque forms very disgusting and they clashing against armored soldiers that desperately fighting to defend what was left of their crumbling civilization.
Blasts ripped across the air. Screams of frightened people permeated the air, which otherwise was dominated by the roar of beasts and the crash of crumbling metal. The world was perishing, destroying with itself the final chances of peace.
But amidst the endless war, a intense battle above all.
Two figures clashed like titans. One radiated calm, controlled strength while the other, twisted madness and blind conviction.
Argan stood alone on the scorched battlefield, cloak torn but posture composed. His red eyes reflected the storm around him, unmoved by the flames or the dying. He doesn't wield a weapon because he know his pure strength enough to settle the chaos
Jaun, one of the last High Generals of the Demon God's follower stood face to face before Jaun. His armor pulsed with corrupted energy, veins burning with dark crimson. A great blade etched with divines runes crackled in his grasp.
Their duel had lasted a full day and they still had energy to continue the fight .
The ground around them was flat from the fierce battles, and many holes had formed
With cold voice, Argan said. "Just how long do you plan to drag this on?! You betrayed your own kind, Jaun! Now you stand with the demon that had kill your own kind?"
Jaun's blade trembled as it absorbed more of the dark ether. "Destruction must come. Only through ruin can we rebuild our world. Our god will make this world great again and people live peacefully and you will beg to our god to spare your live."
Argan scoffed, stepping slowly forward. "Your stupid god? That delusion made flesh? You're nothing but a puppet to a demon that will destroy your when you became useless."
With a roar, Jaun lunged when he hear that. "You dare insult the Demon Gods?!"
He charged as a beast, blade screaming through the air. The ground beneath his feet crumble. The wind howled. Every eye on the battlefield turned to witness.
"I'll tear your arrogance in half!" Jaun roared, his voice shaking the air like a war drum event can be hear into outside planet .
Dark energy tore through his body, veins glowing with corrupted light. Setting out a wat cry that shook across the battlefield, he swung his massive blade with all his might, the force behind it distorting the very air around it. The ground split open under his feet, and a shockwave rippled outward, flattening wreckage and soldiers .
The blade screamed like a falling star, aimed straight for Aaron's heart.
"Die with the rest of the fools who defied the gods!" Jaun scream again, his eyes wild with divine madness.
But Argan didn't flinch.
He did not even made any movement although the attack almost hit his chest .
Only when the blade fell a strike powered by divine hatred did he move.
He taken a single step and vanish into air .
The attack missed entirely, just splitting the empty wind and destroy the ground again .
Argan stepped up beside him with a cold face .
"That's it?" he asked with cold tone. "You speak of gods… yet fight like a man who's never bled for anything."
Jaun yelled with rage, turning again. His final surge of strength crashed toward Argan like sea wave and aim his neck to finish the battle but it is not according to his mind .
At Argan perspective Jaun move slowly like time had stop for him.
When the blade about slice his neck , he catch the blade and break it like nothing even his hand doesn't had scracth .
Shards of the sword droped into the ground like falling stars. The glow vanished from Jaun's armor. His knees buckled and fell to ground .
Jaun stared at the ground, eyes wide in disbelief. He never thought that Argan can move that fast and catch his blade."W-what… are you…?"
The blade he held not long time ago had been break by Argan without taken any injuries . His mind full of fear to Argan as he never know how strong Argan if he fight seriously .
Jaun attempt to stand up but his body refused to move. The last attack had drained nearly all of his strength, leaving his limbs were heavy and unresponsive. Deep within, his organs burned scorched by the surge of power he had tried to employ. Even his face pale .
" Me? I just someone that will destroy demon and someone like you who betray their own kind "
Then, Argan stood in front of Jaun, silent and unmoved, his shadow falling over the broken warrior like a final judgment.Jaun's can feel his body chill down anda his breaths came in ragged gasps, his vision blurred, his strength gone.
"N-no… wait…" he choked, eyes wide with terror. "This… this wasn't how it was supposed to end…"
He can't accept it . His world can be great again if they accept god will but now he will never see it . He believe that richest will regret their action for made their live hard .
When he looked up again ,his body trembled as Argan's glowing hand reached toward him, radiating power that tore through the air like lightning.
Jaun tried to crawl back, but his limbs refused to obey. The weight of regret settled in his chest heavier than the pain.
"I-I just wanted… to fix this world…" he whispered, desperation hanging on his words.
Argan's gaze didn't flinch. "You broke it in the name of false gods. Your motive is right but you use the wrong method ."
Then, with terrifying calm, Argan thrust his hand forward, piercing Jaun's chest in one smooth motion.
Jaun screamed—not just in pain, but in the horror of his choices.
Argan hand was wrapped around the still beating heart. "Too late for redemption."
Turning his wrist, the heart exploded, and Jaun's final breath escaped in silence.
After Argan crushed the heart,he pull his hand free, and let the body fall.
Turning away, he stared out at the rest of the battlefield soldiers still fighting demons, unaware the tide had already turned.
He took a deep breath and took a look at Jaun body with pitfull expression .
"If you're ever reborn… don't be stupid again."
Around him, the soldiers of the allied forces cheered as monsters began to flee. The battle was turning back .
But Argan didn't join them. His eyes drifted upward toward the stars beyond the burning sky.
Looking at the star made him remember his home but million years had passed and he still can't find a way back to home .
' I hope ... she still remember me '
