Chapter 6: Rebuilding the Ruins, One Seduction at a Time
---
Section 1: The Broken Gate of Glory
The Ye Sect was a graveyard.
Charred banners hung limply from shattered poles. Cracked statues of forgotten ancestors lay face-down in rubble. The once-grand ceremonial gate had collapsed into ash-stained ruins, the name Ye Sect barely visible under the grime of betrayal and time.
Ye Tian stood at the center, the wind tugging at his robes as if trying to whisper forgotten secrets into his ears.
"Once a sect of thousands," he muttered, eyes scanning the barren land. "Now just ghosts and cracked stone…"
> [System Alert: Legacy Detection Active] [Initiating Ancestral Resonance Protocol…]
A low hum vibrated through the cracked foundation.
Lines of ancient inscriptions lit up beneath Ye Tian's feet. One by one, broken runes flared to life in golden light, forming a glowing spiral around him. The air shifted. Something ancient was waking.
From behind him, Long Yuyan, the icy Grand Commander of the Heavenly Restoration Legion, spoke.
"You're either mad… or divinely cursed."
"Both," Ye Tian replied, smirking. "But I'm also Ye Tian, the last heir of this land. And I'm done hiding."

Section 2: Lira's Wrath and the Burden of Emotion
A tremor ran through the sect's ruins as a sudden wave of divine Qi burst from Ye Tian.
From a nearby hilltop, Lira—his former fiancée and now conflicted protector—watched him with narrowed eyes. Her violet hair whipped in the wind, her fingers twitching toward the hilt of her blade.
"He's too reckless," she murmured. "He acts like a child toying with fate."
> [System Note: Lira's Affection Level — 67%. Emotional Turmoil Detected.]
She had seen him defy death, mock fate, and seduce power itself… but deep down, she still remembered the old Ye Tian—the broken young master who had cried when his spirit root shattered.
The one she pitied. The one she left behind.
Now… he terrified her.
And aroused her.
"I swore I'd protect you," she whispered. "But I don't know if I'm protecting you… or the world from you."

Section 3: Long Yuyan's Frost-Hearted Temptation
"Why me?" Long Yuyan demanded, her silver armor gleaming under the cracked heavens.
Ye Tian chuckled as he approached her, his robes billowing like a devil's wings. "Because you're powerful, beautiful, and utterly terrifying. Just my type."
She glared. "I am not your type. I am the Grand Commander of the Restoration Legion. I command nations, not… lustful brats."
> [System Alert: Bond Compatibility: 82%. Seduction Threshold Rising.]
"Yet you're still here."
Her lips tightened.
She hated how easily he read her. Hated how her icy heart cracked every time he looked at her with those glitched golden eyes. Hated how she dreamed of him when she meditated under the moonlight.
She should kill him.
But the warmth in her chest screamed otherwise.
"…One kiss," she growled, stepping closer. "If it breaks the tension, we move on. You forget this happened."
Ye Tian leaned in. "Sure."
Their lips met—and the frozen storm inside her shattered.

Section 4: The Return of the Elder Who Should Be Dead
As the ancient formation finished activating, the sky over the Ye Sect cracked.
A thunderous voice echoed from the mountain beyond:
"Who dares awaken the Ye Sect's ancestral pact!?"
From the mist, an old man limped forward—his beard white as snow, eyes like embers.
Elder Mo.
Presumed dead in the massacre. Betrayed. Poisoned. Buried alive under rubble for twenty years.
Now… very much alive.
"Ye Tian…" the elder croaked. "You look just like your father… and ten times more dangerous."
Ye Tian bowed low. "Elder Mo. I've returned to rebuild. Will you serve the Ye Sect again?"
Mo stared at the cracked foundation… then laughed like a lunatic.
"Only if you swear to spit on Heaven and slap the Celestial Court with your bare hands."
Ye Tian grinned. "I'm already making a list."

Section 5: A Beast Beneath the Mountain
The earth shook violently.
Elder Mo's expression darkened. "You awakened the Glitched Formation. You fool…!"
A roar echoed from below—deep, primal, ancient.
The mountain behind the sect split in half.
From its depths, an ancient creature crawled forth—part lion, part dragon, with corrupted halos swirling above its twisted horns.
> [System Warning: Forbidden Beast Detected – Rank: Calamity-Class. Name: Ashen Roar of the Abyss.]
Lira drew her blade. "We can't fight that."
Long Yuyan raised her halberd. "We'll die trying."
Ye Tian grinned as his glitched aura surged.
"I'm not here to run."
> [System Unlocking: Glitched Skill – Seduce the Beast's Heart]
"What?!" Lira and Yuyan said in unison.
Ye Tian laughed.

Section 6: The Forbidden Pact
As the beast lunged, Ye Tian didn't flinch.
He stepped forward, hand glowing with crimson sigils, and placed it on the monster's snout.
> [System Engaged: Charm Protocol—Aberrant Souls Edition.] [Negotiating with Calamity-Class Lifeform… Success.]
The beast snarled, then bowed.
Everyone stared in shock.
Ye Tian climbed onto its back, robes fluttering like a war banner.
"We ride at dawn."
