Mitsuki interrupts:
"Wait! Why did we encounter him last time?"
Orochimaru:
"To steal all the intel he's collected so far."
Suigetsu adds:
"But instead, he took our vital information."
Mitsuki questions:
"If you and I did the mission together, maybe your memory was also altered!"
"Back to my original question—are you my father or mother?"
Orochimaru calmly replies:
"It doesn't matter."
Mitsuki:
"Why did you take me on such a dangerous mission when I'm not strong?"
Orochimaru:

He charges with a blade, but is eventually captured.
"Mitsuki... you have... Sage power... the rest is..."
The armored man turns to attack Mitsuki, trying to awaken his Sage Mode.
Mitsuki fails to awaken it.
The armored man stops. Orochimaru uses a small snake to escape from the man's mouth.
"He's paralyzed by a cursed poison. He won't move or speak for now. Watch him, I'll be right back."
Orochimaru:
"Don't go near him!"
Orochimaru leaves.
The armored man moves and says:
"I took the antidote early, but the poison is still strong!"
He tells Mitsuki to remove his mask.
"It's all a trap by Orochimaru. Take it off and you'll see."
Mitsuki removes the mask—and sees a face identical to his own.
"I'm Mitsuki. We're both artificial humans created by Orochimaru."
Mitsuki, shocked:
"Artificial humans?"
Other Mitsuki:
"Orochimaru sees himself as a god. We are vessels of his desires. He'll keep creating beings like us to fulfill them."
Orochimaru returns, holding a scroll.
"No matter how you were born, you're no different from anyone else. You're my children—perfect and precious!"
"You possess powers beyond mine. I've long awaited your arrival!"
"Is it wrong for a ninja like me to want children?"
"If humanity has one excuse for all their actions, it's love!"
Mitsuki looks at both and finally activates Sage Mode by crushing the mask.
He grabs the scroll and key, dashes out of the barrier.
Orochimaru watches him leave:
"Finally awakened Sage Mode..."
Orochimaru to the other Mitsuki:
"What did you put in the scroll?"
He lights a cigarette:
"Let's call it... a photo of the sun."
Mitsuki smiles looking at Boruto's photo in the scroll:
"My real name... is Mitsuki."
