Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

In this world, aside from power, intelligence was also extremely important. Riku's words caused a storm in the hearts of all the werebeasts present, including Fia.

"Riku, are you serious?" Fia was the first to recover and asked in shock.

"Riku-sama, you aren't joking, are you?" The werebeast chief also asked, unable to believe it.

"Do you think I would joke about something like this?" Riku replied calmly.

"I trust Riku," Fia answered without hesitation.

"Ah, I suddenly understand how you were able to find us so accurately…" The chief said with a wry smile.

Afterwards, every werebeast's heart began to burn with excitement. Sure enough, forming an alliance through marriage was the right choice. With this kind of astonishing intelligence, their odds of winning had greatly increased. Even if they couldn't win right away, their chances of surviving had risen a lot.

"In that case, let's continue the meeting." Riku looked around at everyone and spoke slowly.

When they heard this, everyone suppressed their excitement and listened quietly.

"Although I know the general information about all the races, it's unrealistic to investigate all of them at once. We'll need to go one by one." Riku knocked on the table and said steadily.

"You're right, Lord Riku. Then, which race should we target first?" The chief mused.

"Riku, I suggest that we try to obtain intelligence on the elves. If we can get information on the elves and then find a way to conquer them, it would be extremely beneficial to our alliance. The elves' magic would be very useful to us."Fia said seriously.

"Hehe, Fia's suggestion isn't bad." Riku praised, patting Fia's head as a reward.

Being praised and receiving a head pat, Fia couldn't help but narrow her eyes, showing a cute expression like a small animal, looking very pleased.

Seeing this, the werebeast elders exchanged smiles. It was really wonderful that they could get along so well.

"In addition to the elves, there's another target, the dwarves. The dwarves' technology is also extremely valuable. The other races don't matter, but these two must be drawn into the alliance." Riku tapped the table, his tone turning serious.

"The dwarves… I see, I understand." The chief and the elders exchanged glances and nodded.

"As for the dwarves, please rest assured, Riku-sama. We have ways to evade the dwarves' surveillance." The chief stroked his beard and said with confidence.

Among all the races, the dwarves' high-tech surveillance methods were the most troublesome public enemy number one, so the werebeasts naturally had their own countermeasures.

"Mm, that's good." Riku wasn't surprised by this answer and nodded.

"Bring the map." Riku instructed.

At this, one of the werebeast elders carefully took out the map. Riku had asked the maids to remind them to bring it when they were notified. At the time, they were confused about why, but now they understood and were extremely cautious.

"This map is from long ago. There might be some mistakes now." The chief said, a bit embarrassed.

There was nothing they could do on this planet, battles happened all the time, the terrain changed constantly, and it was just too hard to get up-to-date intelligence.

"No problem, I'll just update it." Hearing this, Riku shook his head calmly and picked up a pen.

Then, he opened the system map as well.

However, as soon as he opened the map, Riku's expression froze slightly, and he frowned.

"Riku, what's wrong?" Noticing Riku's strange expression, Fia gently tugged his sleeve and asked in confusion.

"It's nothing, I just realised something and need to change the plan a bit." The corners of Riku's mouth lifted, revealing a hint of excitement.

'Change the plan?' When they heard this, Fia and the others all looked confused.

"Mm, the elves' capital should have been destroyed by the Flügel. They're now in a state of flight. You all send people to search for them, and if you find their leaders or important figures, track them." Riku narrowed his eyes and spoke slowly.

That's right, when he opened the map earlier, the red dot for the elves' capital had already disappeared. This could only mean one thing: the elves' capital had been wiped out, and so it disappeared from the map.

There were many who could have done this, but Riku had a faint feeling that it was Jibril.

He didn't expect that because of his arrival, a butterfly effect was created, causing this event to happen early. Although he was annoyed before about how Jibril made things so difficult for him, he never expected this battle-crazed girl would accidentally help him so much.

Whether it was fighting the elves or obtaining a platinum-level treasure chest, the difficulty had dropped to the absolute minimum.

'The elves' capital was destroyed by the Flügel?' Fia was shocked, her face filled with disbelief.

The other werebeasts were the same. A race stronger than them had been wiped out just like that...

For a while, the chief and elders of the werebeasts felt a kind of "when the rabbit dies, the fox grieves." Although the two races didn't get along, seeing a great race wiped out so easily was truly a cruel reality.
