Chapter 9 - More than human (3)

Sarkota

"Ahh That was really good..." I rolled onto my side in bed. My breathing was irregular and my heart was still beating hard against my chest. It was hot, very hot, drops of sweat trickled down my skin.

Looking up at the bedroom ceiling, I could feel some joy. The pillow I was using was soft, the blanket not only soft but with the smell of roses too.

Ahh, the taste of confort was so good.

Dignity was so good.

Fancy bed was good.

However, sharing a bed with a beautiful woman was even better.

That was truly a paradise.

"We're done, you can leave now." The sweet-smelling blanket was soon pulled away from me.

Even so, I keep still.

I was used to the cold and the mattress was comfortable and warm.

Unfortunately, someone wasn't reading the mood.

"Come on, hurry up!" Looking to the side, I could see the face of a cold woman. Her face was jovial and unordinary, but without a trace of love or compassion for this poor man.

Sitting with the blanket covering her shame, she looked at me with a frown.

"Why hurry? We've got a long night ahead of us, I still can give you more of the taste of heavens." I said in a sexy tone. but unfortunately, She doesn't seem comoved by words.

"But If you don't want to do anything, that's fine for me. Just go to sleep and I'll do the same, I guarantee I won't do anything! And I guarente my company will still be a pleasure for you, I can give you the best breakfast at the exact same time you wake up. " Again her heart doesn't seem to be comoved for me.

"Don't be silly."She rolled her eyes and huffed, her foot immediately slamming against my body in an attempt to kick me off the bed.

"Go! Shoo! Shoo!" I could only laugh, thinking it was cute.

"You're even prettier angry, you know that?" The kick this time came with more force, knocking me to the floor.

I let her hit me and push me, of course. Just because she's the daughter of a Satan doesn't mean she's stronger than me...

I sigh.

She really is pretty… but she could be more patient. That wasn't cool, but okay.

Even so, I still had one more thing to complain about, one that truly infuriated me.

"Even your floor is better than mine, what an unfair world!" I could hear a growl coming from far away and along with it an expensive comb hit my head.

"If I have to speak again, I swear I'll kill you instead!"

That would be troublesome…

"All right, princess. I'll listen to you, just take it easy." I scratched my head as I stood up with my bare ass. Yawning, I turned to her. "You know, my room is basically a cage with a dirt floor and I'm sure your fiance put some spell on it to scratch me."

Next to the bed, there was a desk and on top of it a glass of water. Pure, nice cold water. I downed the glass in one go, my throat rejoicing with every drop.

Ahhh This really was paradise!

I can die happy now!

"Don't even mention his name, if that idiot finds out about it you and I are toast" I laughed at the mention, so cute but so silly.

"You mean I'm toast. And in a very literal sense. The last time he got suspicious he nearly ripped my balls off. I swear to you, I've never been as scared like that in all my lifetime." Her expression didn't soften for a single moment.

"You've never heard the saying: he who eats quietly eats more. If you'd kept quiet, He wouldn't even have any suspicions. In fact, it's very good you bring it up…" Ohh fuck! Now it was time for me to go, so I hurried to get dressed, while listening to a long lecture about how to keep secrets.

She wouldn't rest still for a second.

The situation would be embarrassing for her, but I was risking my life! every fucking time! Honestly, how could she be more self-centered? These princesses nowadays think too much of themselves.

Back to when I was young, they thanked me for just showing my pal. They complimented me for Its size. With great pleasure in their faces. I remember some even salivating for this.

They were in ecstasy.

Looking around, there was a mirror in the corner of the room, which I quickly approached to check my current appearance.

It wouldn't be nice to have gone to tidy up a wardrobe door and come out all messy.

It was a poor excuse, of course, but at least it justified the sound of breaking wood and violent knocks.

"You are a beast, you know? "In the reflection, a man with hair that resembled dark-blue seaweed was reflected. My skin was tanned and deep scars could be seen everywhere. However, my muscles were nowhere near what they once were.

They were lean and defined, but not as strong.

Even so, I probably could kill most with a single punch.

No matter how weaker a dragon becomes.

It's still a dragon.

It's still a hunter and you're still a prey .

My eyes roamed over every battered corner of my body. Fixing the collar of my grimy white shirt, an old memory from my past as a browser.

I smiled.

Wait... why am I smiling?

"Ohh fuck no…"Suddenly my reflected hand break through the mirror, the fingers of the reflection trying to grab my eyes.

Time seemed to slow down.

There was no chance of initiative.

I was attacked.

My head was spinning.

My senses were increasingly confused.

I was extremely dizzy.

It felt like I was high, very high. Many colors passed by me, carrying with them a hundred sounds, flavors, and smells. Geometric shapes of all kinds formed around me.

I didn't know what was happening, and after some preliminary analysis, I realized that I could only wait for the dizziness to pass. Eventually someone will notice the situation and help me, after all, the princess was still in the same room as me, and she must have noticed the attack.

Even if she doesn't help me right away because she's in combat, someone will hear the commotion and help me eventually.

Even if no one helps me due to some unforeseen circumstance, I'm not dying yet, at least it doesn't seem like it, and I should recover at some point.

In short, I'm in a passive position, but I'm not at risk.

I've been high before, it may take a while or it may not, but eventually it passes.

"What a mess it is here..." A strange voice reached me from a distance, he sighed.

"I think devils weren't meant to come here and therefore can't make sense of the chaos. This isn't going to work, I can't move like this either... I'm going to need to help organize..." What is he talking about?

I tried to communicate, but failed.

He said nothing more, and silence reigned.

The situation continued to get stranger and stranger.

Time seemed strange; at this point, it felt like several hours had passed.

The chaos around me seemed to slowly diminish; I must have been recovering. The synesthesia had passed, leaving me with no further stimulation.

The colors disappeared, leaving me in a colorless void.

And then, in the void, a voice spoke.

"What an empty and dull world… that doesn't make me happy." He sighed again.

"Hear my voice! With my authority, I shall command..." Determination and power resonated with that mysterious voice.

"Let there be light!" A wave swept through that empty world, a beam of radiant light crossed every corner, filling the void. However, the voice still seemed dissatisfied.

"It is still too empty and lifeless… Hear me once more, I will command!" The voice spoke again like thunder. As earth, sky and start began to form, a series of commands coursing through my body.Giving me goosebumps every instant.

A strange energy ran through me from top to bottom.

My mind and body seemed to align with every word that came out of his mouth.

I felt like I was the same person I had been years ago.

I felt like I was reconnecting to myself.

I was me once again.

But not just any me.

I was my best self.

One that I can't believe I could be.

My vision was restored along with my senses, this time they were truly perfect and accurate.

Suddenly I could feel the cool sea breeze around me, the smell of the sea infesting the whole place.

The heat of the sun above my head energized me, it was a beautiful day with a blue sky and birds flying freer than any man could ever fly.

The sand beneath my feet moved gently with my movements and those of the people around me.

Crowds walked everywhere, bringing with them large animals that carried their luggage.

Children ran unhindered, bumping into everyone in their path.

Vendors shouted, trying to sell fresh fruit and fish, the air in their lungs seemed infinite.

To the north, above a hill, I could see an ancient palace. It was huge and noble, made of white marble with gold details. Its statues were laden with precious metals and jewels. It was surrounded by dense, fruitful vegetation.

To the south, down the hill, was a port, where merchants went up and down carrying crates full of goods.

"Hey! Hey! This isn't funny!" I gritted my teeth, but the people around me didn't stop to listen to me.

"Who created this damn illusion? Why did you bring me here again? Did you think I was going to thank you for this shit? This is not something to joke about!"

"Rathora was destroyed! And nothing I do will change that! If you tarnish her image even more, it will only make me want to kill you even more!"

"Stop fucking with me!" Someone giggled at me.

"And here I was thinking you would be happy, after I give you a whole wide world, only and exclusive for yourself. To do whatever you want to It." His voice was calm but disappointed.

"I guess now I can understand how a god feels about their believers. Such ungrateful kids… They never are satisfied…"his voice became annoyed and then enraged. Looking at me with piercing fury.

"Don't be such a brave child, This is not my fault! You are the one who can't appreciate the world I gave to you. I helped you, you should be grateful for It. Nothing here was good before me." In front of me, a tall man with scarlet eyes was staring.

His words were strange.

"I made you better than you ever were…" I sighed, tired of this nonsense.

"So… you are my enemy, I suppose." My blade was already in my hands. ready to stop this bullshit.

My muscles were never that strong before, every movement I made I feel the power.

Magic flowed through my veins like my own blood, So natural that it feels like I was part of nature itself.

tendrils of lighting gathered around me focusing on my blade.

The sound was shrill.

The sand turned to glass in contact with my power.

Without giving a chance to him, I pierced towards his head in a flash of light.

"Just talk, I see."His upper half of the head exploded immediately,a thousand pieces thrown everywhere.

I advanced more than I wanted to, but that doesn't matter.

"So, now how do I get out of here?"Sheathing my blade, I looked around unsatisfied.

The illusion persisted.
