The morning sun filtered through the dense trees of Little Garden, casting a warm glow on the dew-kissed grass.
Dorry and Broggy stood at the edge of the campfire circle, their towering frames casting enormous shadows.
"Straw Hats," Dorry called out. "Before you leave… we ask a favor."
Luffy perked up mid-chew. "What kinda favor?"
Broggy slammed his axe into the ground with a hearty grin. "Stay for a week. Let us train you — teach you some real warrior pride!"
The crew exchanged glances.
Vihaan crossed his arms. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea."
Zoro smirked. "I could use the push."
Nami shrugged. "Only if there's food."
The giants laughed in unison, echoing through the jungle.
On Day 1, Vihaan sat by the ship, surrounded by mirrors of various sizes and shades. With careful fingers, he spun his index over a flat mirror disk.
The glass shimmered and rippled — transforming into delicate tribal-patterned cloth.
One for Nami, one for Vivi.
They wore the wraps over their shoulders and around their waists, draped like explorers of ancient lands. The bright tribal lines reflected Little Garden's spirit — freedom, power, and a touch of wild grace.
Nami twirled in hers. "Vihaan! This is beautiful!"
Vivi blushed. "You really made this?"
Vihaan winked. "A gift for the princesses of the Straw Hat tribe."
In a moment of giddy delight, both girls kissed him — Nami on the cheek, Vivi near the corner of his lips.
Sanji screamed into the distance, punching the air like a lost puppy. "WHY DOES HE GET EVERYTHING?!"
Zoro trained with Broggy, learning the subtle art of grip-shifting mid-air during combat. The giant showed him how to twist the wrist and re-balance a weapon even in mid-fall.
"You're quick, sword-man. But now… you'll be faster," Broggy chuckled.
Zoro grunted, "Faster's good."
He tried the grip switch with two swords and a branch in his mouth.
Slash. Parry. Switch.Block. Twist. Strike.
He was evolving.
Luffy, on the other hand, stood in front of a massive boulder on Day 2.
Dorry clapped a hand to his back. "Punch it. Don't stop till it breaks."
Luffy stared at it. "That's it?"
"Bare fists," Dorry added, grinning. "No stretching. No tricks. Just you."
For six days, Luffy smashed that boulder. His hands bled. His knuckles cracked. But by Day 6, with one last shout, he shattered it into dust.
"I… did… it!" Luffy yelled, lifting his battered fists.
Vihaan trained in secret with Dorry, learning to sense presence — the first stage of Observation Haki.
"Close your eyes," Dorry instructed, "Now… listen with your chest."
Vihaan frowned. "You mean… like feel your killing intent?"
Dorry nodded. "And your kindness. The wind. The birds. The lies in the air."
By the fifth day, Vihaan could detect Broggy's exact movements, even blindfolded.
On Day 6, he successfully blocked Dorry's punch using only a mirror shield summoned behind his back.
Sanji spent his mornings kicking trees. Not charging. No wind-up.Just pure leg strength from a standing start. Each time, bark exploded from the impact.By Day 6, he was cracking trees open with a single heel.
"This is hell," Sanji grumbled, breathless. "But if Nami-swan sees my strength…"
"She won't," Zoro said walking by. "She's too busy hugging Mirror Boy."
Sanji screamed again.
Usopp, however, wasn't pushed physically.
Instead, Broggy blindfolded him and tossed pebbles at him at random intervals.
"Learn to listen. Feel the air."
By Day 6, Usopp caught three stones mid-air, blindfolded.
"I think… I'm starting to get it."
Nami trained too, though the giants sheepishly admitted they didn't know much about staff fighting.
"We know only this much," Dorry admitted, handing her a carved wooden rod.
"Then I'll learn the rest," she said with a grin, twirling it confidently.
Vihaan later infused her staff with another mirror orb, allowing it to channel static charge from the air into lightning bursts.
"Storm Staff, version one," Vihaan whispered.
As Day 7 approached, the campfire was roaring once again.
The Straw Hats were stronger. Sharper. Closer.
Dorry raised his mug. "Elbaf thanks you, warriors. May your journey ahead be loud and legendary."
Broggy nodded. "And may your blades never dull."
Luffy shouted with glee. "You guys are awesome!"
Vihaan gave a respectful bow, then pulled Nami and Vivi close as the stars blinked overhead.
The jungle echoed with laughter, firelight, and the echoes of warriors — old and new.
On the morning of Day 7, with the Straw Hats preparing their ship for departure, Dorry and Broggy once again stood opposite one another. Their usual grins had faded. Today was a scheduled duel day, as marked by the volcanic eruption just hours before.
Weapons drawn. No hesitation.
"Wait!"
Vivi stepped forward, her hands raised.
"Before you fight again… may I suggest something?"
Both giants blinked down at her, puzzled.
"I've heard your story. About the sea king, and how neither of you ever admitted who caught the larger one." She smiled calmly, her diplomatic aura shining. "Why not resolve it without violence — with a little bit of... measurement?"
"Measurement?" Broggy raised a brow.
Vivi nodded and pulled a mirror scale Vihaan created earlier during training.
"This mirror can be infused to reflect size ratios. If you both describe the size and length of the creature you caught, and we have similar sea king skeletons nearby… we can reconstruct the answer."
Vihaan added, "And if the bones match what they remember catching, I can mirror-image the size of the original creature based on what's left."
Zoro blinked. "That's actually… genius."
Usopp whispered, "She's got brains and beauty…"
The giants looked at each other.
Dorry laughed first. "A peaceful answer from a brave little human!"
Broggy let out a chuckle. "If Elbaf had more minds like hers, maybe we'd have fewer broken teeth."
After some measuring, guessing, mirror modeling, and a long re-telling, the result was:
A draw.
They had caught identical sea kings — one from the east side of the island, and one from the west.
"…So we fought for a hundred years… for nothing?" Dorry murmured.
"No," Broggy corrected, placing a massive hand on his brother's shoulder. "We fought for honor. But we end it for peace."
Vivi gave them a gentle bow.
Vihaan leaned to her ear and whispered, "Princess brain activated. You just stopped a century-long battle with a smile."
Vivi smirked. "That's what diplomacy does, Mirror Boy."
