That's my stat points used up for the time being so now I guess that just leaves the skill tree for me to work with. Or maybe it's best to let myself level a bit more before using the points on the tree.
It'll leave room for more powerful skills instead of going with the smaller level skills. I want to make this system as strong as it can be so I'll be smart about everything.
He picks up the remote and turns the TV on as he swiped away the menu screen. "Today we got to witness a potential new hero who helped in stopping a villain known as Vespera Noctis. Its not every day that we get to see someone new." The Reporter goes on to say.
They played brief clips from the fight that occured today that showed the way Saito moved against the enemy. Almost as if he had a guarantee of hitting his attacks without having to worry about the enemy dodging.
It's no wonder Eto would want to talk to me more about what I could have as my powers since he saw something like this. They probably slapped the video on a screen in front of him as soon as they saw it.
Sigh. This was the last thing I wanted to deal with going forward but I guess it was going to be impossible to avoid. People are going to find out whether I like it or not, they just won't know what it is that I can do.
He looks down at the number on the small piece of paper as he thinks about everything.
Maybe it would be best to invite her over for a bit or something— I don't really know how to move forward in these type of situations usually. I haven't gotten a girls number in quite some time so this is a bit new to me.
Saito quickly shoots her a text. "Hey it's Saito, I figured I'd text you so you have my number too. Maybe we can hangout again?" That's exactly how he sent it, yes it's a bit sad but that doesn't matter right now.
Knock. Knock. Someone could be heard from across the room knocking on his door.
8:47 Pm.
It's kind of late so why is someone here at this time knocking on my door? Nobody really knows me around here anymore so I didn't think I'd have to worry about this.
But my gut is telling me it's someone I don't really want to deal with right now... Guess it couldn't be the end of the world to open the door though.
He walks over and looks through the peephole to see a woman wearing a dress and who appeared to be holding a tablet in her hand. Her long black hair, purple eyes, and even by the way she stood it said she was someone special.
Saito opens the door slowly to greet the woman. "Can I help you?" He asks with a bit of hesitation in his voice.
"Saito Yoshihiro, I'm Okita Yoko. I come from S.H.O.W and would love to see what we can do to recruit you to our organization." She responds with a polite tone to her voice.
S.H.O.W? I don't remember where I've heard that before but it does seem awfully familiar to something I've seen before. Or maybe I do know exactly what they do since they are on TV most of the time.
Most heroes who are with their organization focus on keeping popularity and ratings high above all else. Focusing on their sponsors and public opinion at all times, unlike some of the other organizations.
Saito just kind of looks blankly at her. "I don't have any powers and I'm not too interested in your organization if I'm being honest." He says while scratching his head.
I could see the look of disappointment in her face and I understand that she is just doing the job she was hired for but this wouldn't be the last time. Organizations are relentless when it comes to recruiting heroes, especially one like S.H.O.W.
They could use someone like me to boost their ratings even more and it will help with the popularity of their organization. It truly is an interesting world to live in most days.
She puts her tablet away before turning away. "I appreciate the honesty, I'll see you again Saito." Yoko replies before walking away.
At least she didn't try to stick around and persuade me, that would be a major pain in the ass to deal with. I was already having a hard time to begin with since women really might be my weakness.
She was cute but definitely not my type like Fumiko is, I'll happily stick with Fumiko if she ever gives me a chance. I mean she did give me her number after all so maybe it won't be far off.
Chime! Chime! His phone went off two times in a row and he quickly closes the door before rushing over to check it.

That text alone was enough to put a smile on my face, something I didn't realize I was capable of having in the first place. This luck of mine lately really is amazing.

A giant tower overlooks the city of Zentara, men can be seen dragging Vespera inside before they all disappear from sight.
"I don't know how you managed to get him away from Eto's team but we will make sure that he isn't beaten again." A man with half a mask over his face says with a serious tone.
A man dressed in all black wearing half a mask across his face, red eyes, and jet black hair can be seen standing before a table. Multiple people seem to be sat at this table looking towards him.
"What will we do about the guy who beat him?" Someone speaks up.
He turns towards the window. "We'll kill him." The man answers bluntly.
