Adam immediately asked the King for permission to examine the orb. Connected to Lyra, he relayed his thoughts: the entire continental meeting was a direct result of his mana outburst. Lyra's assessment, however, offered a different perspective.
While unexpected, his outburst had inadvertently prevented wars and saved countless lives. She pointed out that the black anomaly, a true existential threat, had been successfully contained. This had, ironically, removed any common enemy, leading civilizations back to their greedy pursuits of power and land.
Adam's recent mana release, though, had once again provided that common threat, halting the impending wars and forcing civilizations into a peaceful resolution. This could lead to another century of peace under a renewed treaty.
Lyra advised against interfering with the meeting. Since there was no immediate danger like the anomaly, the meeting's primary purpose would simply be to secure a 100-year peace treaty. Allowing it to proceed was the better outcome. Adam agreed.
The King's Spies and a New Plan
Adam then asked the King if the orb was how he'd detected Adam's mana in the kingdom. The King clarified that the orb was linked only to the unknown lands, sensing fluctuations there, and no human had ventured there since the hero's time.
He then admitted that he learned of Adam's powers through his extensive spy network, which monitored everything happening in the kingdom to prevent and control any underground groups causing problems. Adam was impressed by the King's resourcefulness.
Adam informed the King that he would join him when they were ready to depart, but he would be escorting the King by himself. After retreating with Lyra and Leon, Adam revealed his plan: he would send a duplicate of himself to join the King. Since there was no actual threat, his primary role at the meeting would simply be to listen to their peace agreement.
Adam shared his ambitious plan with Lyra: he intended to map out every continent for instant teleportation. Utilizing his duplicates, combined with Lyra's extensive knowledge and mapping capabilities, Adam began identifying key teleportation points – in every kingdom, every castle, every forest, and every dungeon. He employed cloaking and mana void to bypass all defense barriers, remaining completely unseen.
Lyra calculated the precise coordinates, and the process began. One hundred duplicates of Adam materialized and instantly teleported away. Controlled by both Adam and Lyra, a real-time hologram in the house displayed their rapid progress. Each duplicate vanished, reappearing across different kingdoms and locations, mapping the terrain at an incredible speed.
The human continent was mapped first, followed by swift jumps to other continents, covering vast stretches of land, diverse landscapes, and numerous kingdoms. They bypassed all magical barriers with minimal detection. Some kingdoms briefly registered a "barrier breach" but found no sign of what had caused it.
The movements were so swift, occurring within seconds. Lyra soon confirmed that 100% of all continents were mapped, from the Dragon Continent to the Elf Continent and beyond. All duplicates then teleported back to Adam and merged, leaving him free to teleport instantly across any continent.
