A Royal Assignment and Urban Renewal
Preparations for the King's voyage were complete. Adam sent one of his duplicates with King Daniel, maintaining a hive-mind connection that allowed him to see and speak through the duplicate. Adam informed the King that it was a duplicate accompanying him, assuring him he would be fully aware of everything that transpired.
The King, unfazed, simply hoped Adam would continue to assist the kingdom. When Adam inquired about the redevelopment of the kingdom, he was given free reign to handle whatever he deemed fit. The King also asked Adam to mentor his son, Prince Desmond, in the development process, hoping it would aid his growth and preparation for governance. Adam agreed.
Adam, with Lyra and Leon, then went to the palace to meet Prince Desmond. Together, they mapped out areas for redevelopment. Prince Desmond was thrilled to work alongside Adam. They began by reorganizing farmlands, noble estates, entertainment zones, and merchant districts, while simultaneously upgrading the kingdom's infrastructure.
Residents would receive better residential upgrades, and new homes would be built for the poor and homeless. New jobs were created, and numerous roads and pathways were laid out. Parks, free playgrounds for children, and even free educational establishments for lower-class residents were planned. Healing centers, offering free healing as a benefit to all residents, were established. It was a monumental change in the kingdom's landscape.
Prince Desmond ordered all residents to pack their belongings for the upgrade. Adam and Lyra then unleashed a multitude of duplicates to assist with moving and packing each resident's items. All residents were transported into a 'temporary dimension' filled with activities for both adults and children, a space far larger than the Fun Land. Adam's plan was to entirely recreate the kingdom for better living conditions, safer and more efficient pathways.
As everyone was transported, Adam and the Prince announced that today would be a "fun day for everyone," with all activities, food, and drinks provided for free. Cheers erupted in the dimension as the residents relaxed and enjoyed themselves. Leons were omnipresent, assisting with all tasks and offering help to every resident.
The Dawn of a New Damarsh
Adam then initiated the groundbreaking redevelopment. Lyra had already created detailed 3D models of each development, meticulously planning structures to maximize land use. Adam unleashed his magic, pouring it into the creation, engulfing the entire kingdom in seconds.
Tall structures rapidly developed from the ground up, houses were upgraded, and pathways were created with special teleportation gates leading to city areas. Farmlands were automated, with portals efficiently moving products to market. In a single day, the kingdom underwent a technological revolution.
Residents were gradually guided back to their newly renovated and upgraded homes. Homeless and poverty-stricken areas were entirely eliminated, replaced with new homes and living conditions equal to everyone else's. Adam announced the completion of the development.
Residents were free to return, escorted by Leon and Adam's duplicates, who also taught them how to use the new features in their houses. Slowly, people began moving out of the dimension through portals and into their new homes. The portal remained open, allowing them to re-enter if they wished to continue their fun activities.
The residents were overwhelmingly satisfied, praising the Kingdom of Damarsh. Nobles lavished praise on Adam for his incredible work and swore their loyalty to him. Visitors were astonished by Damarsh's transformed landscape, with some nobles from other kingdoms and travelers even inquiring about residency. They were directed to apply through the normal network for approval.
Adam's power and ingenuity have transformed Damarsh into a utopian kingdom in a single day, solidifying his heroic status and garnering widespread admiration.
