JayJay's POV:-
We all walked towards the house. Mam Cindy led me into a room while Sir Alvin carried a box full of blankets and pillows for the Ulupongs. We all went to sleep but then in the middle of the night, I heard my door open and shut. The bed around me wobbled. Someone was getting into the bed. My whole body stiffened up. My heart stopped for a second. A strong and heavy arm wrapped around my waist.
My instincts shot up. I darted awake and punched the person beside me in the back hard.
The mysterious figure, turned on the lamp. Keifer! This idiot could have at least told me it was him!
" What the fuck?", he groaned in pain. I gave a smile, "Sorry"😀
"Why did you hit me", He pouted. "I did not know it was you!", I answered.
"Well now, you are going to have to make up for it", he said with a teasing smile. I knew where this was going!
"Kuya is right here, not today go back to the living room and sleep"
"But I can't sleep without you", he pouted again, he looked like a cute little child everytime he pouted like that.😙
"Fine! If I give you one kiss, you have to go back and sleep with the others, Okay?", I asked him. He nodded reluctantly and I gave him a quick peck on the lips with a wink.
"Hey! I was not prepared you took advantage", he said. "That was the deal, one kiss", I said with a teasing smile. He got up and hugged me, I felt his lips trailing around my jaw, leaving soft pecks on my neck, they eventually found their way to my lips leading in us having the most magical kiss.
After a long time, he pulled away. I was a little breathless but Keifer could probably do this the whole night. He walked back to the living room where rest of the Ulupongs were sleeping.
I smiled at myself and the sweet kiss as I drifted back to sleep. When I woke up, it was already morning. I could hear the Ulupongs arguing with Mam Cindy.
"I don't want to jog", it was Ci-n
"At least let me say good morning to Jay before we go", said Keifer and I smiled.🤭
" All of you kids are lazy, go out and excercise and Keifer- no , you cant see JayJay I don't want another fight with Angelo", shouted Mam Cindy. She had a point if Kuya saw Keifer talking with me, He would get angry again.
I quickly got up and freshened. Changed my clothes and then walked out the door. I was still mad at Kuya. I went to the kitchen and greeted Mam Cindy.
I drank some water and then bolted out the door, I had a plan to follow the Ulupongs. I was running for 10 minutes straight. Damn! How far could they have gone? They did have long legs though.
I stopped short when I noticed a pick up truck coming my way. I was about to walk closer to it because i thought it was the ulupongs but I halted. They weren't my ulupongs. Suddenly a man jumped out from the driver seat. Ram
"SweetY", he said with a smile "Did you miss me? Did you forget about me?", he kept asking questions with an evil smile. I wanted to run, run to Keifer and scream for help. But I couldn't move, words got stuck in my throat and refused to come out.
A man suddenly appeared. A man suddenly scoffed, "You really called all of here for this, a small girl?", Ram chuckled, "Thats
Keifer's girl"
"I don't hit women, But to get revenge on keifer I would smash this dolls face", the man spoke. It sent a chill down my spine. NO!
Not my pretty face! no face smashing please!!
Ram took a step forward to me and that was my cue- I bolted. As fast as flash could be. But flash had longer legs, I could feel them gaining on me. I suddenly saw the house, I pushed myself to run faster and scream. "KUYAAA, SIR ALVINNNNN, HELP MEEE!!!!"
Kuya and Sir Alvin got out of the house and that gave me hope. I quickly hid behind Kuya. My lips were trembling with fear, "Kuya.. r-Ram", I said still shaking.
"Are we going to jail?", Ram sneered, "Might as well go for a reason- murder", said Ram pointing right at me.
"Go inside and lock yourself in the guest room, Now!", Kuya whispered to me and I obeyed. I heard grunts and screams I wanted to turn and look but I couldn't. I immediately locked myself in the guest room and called Keifer.
No load-Great!
I quickly messaged something on the group chat and hit send but my heart stopped when I heard voices from inside the house,
"Lets just split up and check all rooms one by one"
The doorknob turned. Once,Twice, the person failed to open it.suddenly with one sharp sound the doorknob broke and fell off
"She is here", One of them shouted
grinning at me. Shit!
One of them charged at me but I grabbed a bench and threw it at him.He groaned and I kicked him hard in the stomach, he fumbled
back, annoyed. They all charged at me, I threw whatever I could get my hands on
I suddenly felt someone shove me against the wall, I kicked him in the nuts and bolted out. I had to get Kuya. I halted, I need to go outside for help, we need more people. I quickly went to the back of the house, climbing over a short fence. I heard someone calling me, "JAY".
It was Kuya but I could not see him, I could hear voices from afar. Panic surged through
me until I heard Kuya again. "Hurry up Keifer, they are here. Find her!!".
Yes! my prayers has been answered, he was here. I quickly hid behind a big tree waiting for keifer.
My eyes widened at the smell of fresh blood behind me. Somebody grabbed me, "Its me", Kuya whispered.
"Wh-y-y ? Wh-er-e did the blood come from??"
Kuya was explaining something but I could not hear him. My eyes met the person standing in front of me, Ram- with his hands bloody and a knife in them. Ram and Kuya were arguing but everything was muffled. My chest tightened, My heart was beating to fast-it physically hurt.
Kuya kept telling me to go while he was fighting Ram but I froze.Keifer...
Kuya suddenly approached me and everything started to shut down, Blood gushing . It was a lot of blood.
Suddenly they clashed into battle once again. KUYA GOT HIT. OH NO.
KIEFER WHERE ARE YOU???
Kuya turned to me after defeating Ram, his appearance started shifting it was not Kuya I was seeing, it was someone else.
" Who, Who are you", I asked terrified. I repeated my question.
This was reminding me of something, this has happened before, but when??! I suddenly
heard my mothers voice shouting and yelling.
" GET AWAY", I shouted towards the man, tears flowing down my cheeks uncontrollably. Suddenly someone hugged me from behind.
Oh no! They caught me!
"Jay- listen to me open your eyes,Jasper jean- Open your eyes". Suddenly it started becoming clear to me. Keifer?
Keifer's POV:-
Oh no! Jay !! Open your eyes!
" Jay please listen, please open your eyes",
her eyes fluttered open. She looked at me with a strange expression, scared but safe. GET ME OUT OF HERE KIEFER HE WILL KILL ME", she yelled.
"No one will hurt you again jay, I will protect you, calm down", but she kept crying. I kept talking to her.
" Don't worry I'm here now, You are safe, you are with me", she slowly started calming down. She clung to me tightly as id someone
would snatch her away.
" What took you so long". I felt so guilty, I failed to protect her. I am going to kill that son of a bitch. I pressed a soft kiss to the side of
her head. " I'm so sorry we thought you were inside, we were helping Sir Alvin."
It still felt weird for me to say that word but I was ready to say it for the rest of my life for her. " Please don't leave me alone", she begged. " I wont, never again", I said
hugging her tighter.
She turned to Angelo and asked us what happened to him, Yuri told her about how I had hit Angelo. It wasn't my fault, I thought he was someone else. " Tss, Like I was even conscious? I thought he was someone else and was being inappropriate to JayJay.", I
defended myself.
I noticed Jay closing her eyes slowly, No! She will get worse if she loses consciousness now. "Hey Hey Open your eyes just for a few more minutes", I said while trying to keep her awake.
I lifted her in one swift motion and sprinted towards the house. I have never felt so scared as right now when she is laying down infront of me-lifeless. No expression on her face, her eyes closed sleeping peacefully, except I knew there was nothing peaceful about it.
Suddenly her eyes fluttered open, I was happy she was awake but fear and worry overcame my happiness. She looked around the room as I called out to her, " Jay" She was trying to move, trying to respond but it seemed like her body was refusing to co-operate.
" Hey hey don't force it, Drink some water", I lifted a glass upto her lips. She seemed so tired, so scared, so lost..
"Keifer", my name escaped her mouth and I hugged her tightly. I was so scared to lose her.
JayJay POV:-
I looked at Keifer, his arm was bruised and there were some scratched on his face. " Kuya?", I asked him. " Downstairs, Mam Cindy is tending to his wounds", he explained.
"What did you do to Kuya Earlier?", I asked him again. He turned Pale. " I umm, I hit him
with force", he answered nervously. " What, Why?", I was now very confused.
" I saw you shouting and then I felt angry and just wanted to save you, I did not look at who was there or who wasn't, I just saw that my love needed me", he explained ,still a bit anxious.
" Kiefer I saw something, There was a ma-", I was cut off my Kuyas thunderous voice.
" WHERE THE FUCKING HELL IS THAT MOTHERFUCKER"
