Dysis stopped a ways out of town to avoid setting off a panic and I ran (at a human pace) to where I sensed Leo. I find Leo at an inn all droopy and sad while holding Lysara's purple and green ribbon I bought for her. I run in the room and he jumps in urgency, "Miss Ari! It is Lysara, she was kidnapped a week ago! You have to rescue her!" I patted him on the head, "What happened?" Leo then says with tears coming out of his eyes, "A group of assassins jumped us and hit us with some kind of weird darts that made it to where we couldn't move. While we were all down, they kidnapped Lysara and took her away." I kiss him on the forehead taking her ribbon from him trying my best not to show him my panic, "I will go get her immediately. Here, take this coin." I then hand him enough funds for the room and plenty for food for himself and CoCo and Kenji, "This should be enough for a while here and lay low. I will be back with Lysara." I look at Kenji, "I am counting on you to protect Leo here. If anything happens and we aren't back before Leo runs out of funds, I want you to provide for him with your hunts while working your way to his mother. That will be the worst case scenario." Kenji nods, "You got it, Ari." He says as he then rubs on me with affection then goes to Leo. I tell them both, "Be safe," as I make my exit.
I leave town and get a good way away before whistling for Dysis. Dysis lands in front of me with a huge gust of wind causing my clothes and hair to flap wildly. I then jump on her back with my super strength, so she doesn't have to get down and hold on tight, "Lysara, was kidnapped and we have to save her." Dysis then says, "Lead the way, Ari." I point in the direction Lysara is and we start flying at full speed ahead. I tell Dysis as we fly yelling because we are going so fast and the wind makes it hard to hear, "We are going to be flying into a trap. Be ready to use your lightning to incapacitate our enemies. The only one I care about is Lysara. Anyone else can feel our wrath." Dysis then replies, "I knew you were going to be a fun companion. Not only did I get a fun ability, but you are going to let me play with it? This is going to be a lot of fun." Dysis is giggling in anticipation of our battle.
We travel at full speed all day, spending the night on the road. Dysis does her daily hunting while I set up camp and she brings the spoils back for us to share. I drink all of the blood out of the prey as a snack then after it is completely dry, I skin the hide and ask, "Would you like me to cook yours?" Dysis shakes her head which has blood around her beak in a terrifying manner that would scare most people, "I like my meat as is." I then take what I desire which is hardly any of her prey and say, "Thanks for sharing. The rest is all yours." Dysis says, "I like it when you skin them. That used to be an annoying part of feeding. I almost feel pampered now." I smile, feeling the exact same, "I feel pampered that you hunt for me, so the feeling is definitely mutual." I say while I prepare my meat to cook it over our campfire. As I cook my dinner I say, "Dysis, I don't believe I told you my story yet. You are about to be thrown into it and I think it is only fair you know what you are getting into." I then go into the whole story as I cook and eat. Dysis is eating as well while listening. I tell Dysis everything. Not leaving any details out.
We slept for a few hours and continued our journey to save Lysara since both of us had trouble sleeping and time is of the utmost importance. It is still nighttime and we are traveling until around dawn when we arrive at where Lysara is. Sky gets out of my cleavage before the mayhem can start and gets a safe distance away. She appears to be locked in an isolated building surrounded by forest with an access road and a carriage near the building and Lysara's presence is getting weaker and weaker since we left Leo. We fly all the way to the building knowing it would cause a scene and reap mayhem on them. Dysis immediately lets off an array of lightning to get several enemies at once. Right before the lightning made contact with her targets, their hair stood standing at attention with static electricity. Once the enemies outside have been taken care of, Dysis stays put and says she will take care of anybody else that might show up to fight or knock them back out if they wake up. I then go to find Lysara. I search in the building until I feel Lysara. I go into the room to find my mother with Lysara chained up. She looks extremely weak and starved for sexual energy. You see, I inserted a small tracking item in your scalp that is linked to a map in my possession right after you busted your head open after Bella used her dark magic to blind you and trip you with her dark magic tentacles so you would tumble down the stairs. We put something similar in that creature your father took, to lead us to her just waiting for you two to separate. I asked Bella to make you suffer in an anonymous letter and gave her ammunition to use against you. I wanted her to make you feel awful about being a Lez-Dull and push you back towards the crown prince. I used her love for the crown prince to manipulate her for my purposes. She never knew who sent those letters either. EVERYTHING fell to pieces when you fell in love with this foul succubus." She says as she grabs Lysara forcefully by the face and pushes her away then kicks her.
I yell, morified by my mother's words and actions, "Please stop!" Tears streaming from my face in devastation at the betrayal. Mother then smiles and says, "Oh? You mean stuff like this?" She says then she makes an icicle and goes to stab her in the neck. I lost it. I close the distance with my superhuman speed and throw my mother against the wall with one hand while grabbing the icicle with my other bare hand though it is painfully cold. She is bleeding pretty badly and chuckles through her pain, "That is new. That didn't seem like human strength. I am very curious how you acquired it." I laugh, at her ridiculous inquiry, "You don't deserve to know anything about me anymore. Did you ever mean it when you said you loved me?"
She laughs long and hard, "Do you know how hard it was to act around you? The main reason I avoided you at the house was because pretending to be the perfect mother took a lot of energy. I just wanted to play a role to make you queen. You couldn't have too many people against you, otherwise you would have turned out just like your father and I." As she said this, she used her water magic to create some icicles to stab me in my legs. I hissed in pain. It hurts a lot, but before she can make her move on Lysara, I go up to her, forcing my legs to move with my blood everywhere at this point. Once I get to her I knock her out immediately and find the keys to the cuffs and free Lysara. Once she is free, I heal her and then I put the mana-sealing cuffs on my mother. Lysara is barely conscious and really weak.
I go up to her still crying, but now these are tears of worry for her, "Lysara, speak to me. Hang in there. I have to remove all of these icicles and heal myself before you feed." Lysara nods a delirious nod with her eyes trying to roll back in her head. I pull out each icicle one by one as quickly as I can. After each one is removed even more blood leaves my body. My arms get covered in blood as they graze my profusely bleeding legs. I am getting a little light headed. I get them all removed, and before I pass out I cast a heal spell on myself. Then everything goes black.
I wake up after a few moments, and I am really weak from the lack of blood but I can still barely stand. I grab her and we stumble outside to Dysis. I ask Dysis if I can borrow her blood and she lays down to make it easier on me and I have a nice meal then heal her. I pick up Lysara and put her on Dysis in front of me so I can hold her in place while I hold on. She is out of it and really weak right now. My legs are very sore from being impaled and have a bunch of round scars on my legs now and my clothes are covered in blood and riddled with holes. I tell Dysis in a yell, "Let's get a good way away then let's stop so we can let her feed. We need to be a safe distance first." Dysis understands and does just that.
Dysis lets us down and I place Lysara delicately on the grass, "Lysara, let's feed you right away." She nods and then I kiss her. She starts with her phantom's kiss and she becomes like a starving beast. She pushes me down and takes off all of my clothes quickly and with urgency. She said that fruit grants immortality. She wanted the queen's royal connection and access to classified knowledge to find the fruit and take it for herself so she could gain immortality." I laugh not realizing I that was what that fruit was, "So that was what that was. I guess it wouldn't have done anything to me since I am already immortal. I gave one to Dysis and Sky, so they are immortal now, too, I guess."
I say loudly for Dysis and Sky to hear, feeling very bad about giving them something like this without their full consent, "You hear that, Dysis and Sky? You are apparently immortal now because of the fruit from earlier. I am soooooo sorry, I didn't know it was that kind of fruit when I gave it to you." Sky is in a tree nearby while Dysis responds, "It is ok. If I was alone like before I met Aldruruth, I would have been devastated. Since making friends with him and you, forever doesn't seem that bad." I sigh in relief, "That is good to hear. Immortality can be a cursed existence to some, and I was worried you might be one. You will be with us a long time then. I look forward to a friendship that lasts several millennia. Let me know if you ever get bored of me or if there is ever anything you want to do. I don't want you to ever feel like you are a prisoner being my familiar. I want you to live the life you want to live. If there is anything you need help with, we can help you since that is what friends are for."
Dysis says in her deep comforting voice, "Duly noted, Ari." Sky comes down to us and lands on me, "I am surprised by the news, too, but I am really happy since that means forever with my best friend." I pet him, "I am very happy to get to stay best friends forever with you." I say with a smile as he nuzzles into my pets getting covered in my blood in the process. I turn my attention back to Lysara, "We have time to catch up to Leo and the others. I gave them funds for lodging and food and gave them a game plan if we are late." Lysara says sighing in relief, looking like a huge weight was lifted from her shoulders, "That is great. I was so worried about Leo when I was taken. I couldn't leave him funds and all he had was his own money from the allowance I was giving him. Now before you tell me anything else, how did you get this strangely beautiful scar?" She says as she strokes delicately the lightning branch looking scar that reached to the top of my right breast.
I replied watching her gently trace my scar, "I got struck by lightning while at Storm Mountain. It left this scar." Lysara looks at what she can see since she can't see the arm part of the scar because of the blood covering my arms from pulling all of the icicles out of my legs. Tracing her finger around the scar on my breast gently, "Does it hurt?" I shake my head, "It is sore on my upper back where I got hit, but other than that no." She sighs again in relief, "That is good. It left such a beautiful scar. It is body art. Your whole body is a work of art." She says as she purrs seductively. I smiled when responding, "I thought the same thing when I first noticed it. It is such a peculiar scar. I still can't believe it branched to my arm and chest." I say as I look down at the scar. We cuddled for a few moments, then I stroked her uncovered arms, "You about ready to go to the capital, boo boo?" Lysara says, "Let's go." I then get my clothes back on and we mount Dysis and head to the capital.
