"Hmm?"
Tights finally noticed the stares from the surrounding crowd as she let out a deep breath.
Feeling a bit embarrassed, she stuck out her tongue and raised two fingers to her forehead.
In the next instant, the onlookers watched in stunned silence as she vanished again.
If they could explain the first disappearance as an illusion, this second one made things undeniable.
Panic erupted. Screams filled the street.
Meanwhile, the cause of all this—Tights—was calmly perched atop a nearby skyscraper.
She had been away from Earth for several months, and during her time on Yardrat, she had learned Instant Transmission.
Now back on Earth, she felt an overwhelming nostalgia—and began sensing her family's ki right away.
"Hmm… Everyone's at home? That's weird. Bulma's ki… it feels agitated. Is she in a fight?"
Tights frowned slightly, then—
BOOM!
An explosion echoed from the distance. Faint screams, gunshots, and the rattle of heavy artillery followed.
"What's going on?"
Frowning deeper, Tights teleported again.
This time, she reappeared inside her family's home—and was immediately met with the chaos of battle.
Dr. Brief and his wife were crouched behind a table for cover, while her younger sister Bulma was engaged in hand-to-hand combat with a purple-haired military woman.
Tights instinctively raised her hand to help—but quickly saw that Bulma was holding her own just fine.
So instead, she casually greeted her parents: "Mom, Dad—what's going on here?"
"T-Tights?! You're back?!"
"Tights, darling, let Mommy look at you!"
The moment they saw their eldest daughter, the usually scatterbrained couple completely forgot the danger and ran over, full of excitement.
Even Bulma couldn't help but turn her head, shouting, "Sis?!"
"Gotcha!" the purple-haired soldier sneered, trying to sneak attack.
But Tights simply lifted her hand and released a burst of ki.
CRASH! The soldier was blown backward like she'd been hit by a truck, slamming into the wall and falling unconscious.
"Big Sis! There are more of them outside!"
Hearing Bulma's warning, Tights walked out to the courtyard—and sure enough, found a paramilitary force with strange red insignias exchanging fire with West City's security forces.
It looked like the local forces were trying to reach the house to help, but the soldiers in red were stalling them.
"One after another... This is my house, you know!"
Tights yelled and charged forward. In just a few punches and kicks, she flattened the attackers.
A tank swiveled its cannon toward her—But before it could fire, she obliterated it with a single ki blast, reducing it to molten scrap.
The security forces—initially about to make a push—froze in shock.A young woman had just taken out a tank.
Alone.
Dusting off her hands, Tights returned inside.
"Dad, what's going on? Who the hell are those guys outside?"
"You... defeated all of them?" Dr. Brief blinked in disbelief. "Tights, what happened to you? Have you turned into some kind of... bad girl?"
"Ugh! Shut up! I just saved your lives!"
Eventually, Bulma gave her sister a rundown of what had happened.
It turned out the group outside was none other than the infamous Red Ribbon Army—a ruthless military organization with advanced tech, deep pockets, and a growing reputation for cruelty. Even the regular army feared them.
Recently, their eyes had turned toward the Capsule Corporation.
Thanks to years of collaboration with the Saiyans, Dr. Brief's company had developed new products using alien technology—including high-grade alloys and anti-gravity engines.
These advancements had made Capsule Corp too prominent to ignore—and the Red Ribbon Army had tried to recruit Dr. Brief multiple times.
But the good doctor refused without hesitation.
So today, they struck.
They sent Colonel Violet and her special forces to kidnap the Brief family—but thanks to Bulma's martial arts skills, they were held off long enough for help to arrive.
Still, if Tights hadn't shown up, things might've turned out very differently.
After all, the Red Ribbon Army wasn't short on dangerous operatives. While Bulma had trained under Master Roshi for a few years, she'd mostly abandoned martial arts after Tights married Lynx. Her strength had been fading.
"Damn those Red Ribbon creeps! Trying to mess with our family!" Tights clenched her fist. "Mom, Dad—stay here. I'm going to wipe them out!"
"Huh?"
"Tights, don't be reckless!"
"Yeah, Sis, I know you've gotten stronger, but even the regular army can't handle them!"
"If we don't deal with them," Tights countered, "are you planning to just get kidnapped every week, Bulma?"
"W-Wait, what?"
Dr. Brief chimed in, muttering, "To be fair… that's not entirely unlikely. They're pretty ruthless…"
"Alright Sis! Smash the Red Ribbon Army for me!" Bulma suddenly yelled.
"Gladly!"
Tights nodded and walked over to the unconscious Colonel Violet.
"Hey! Quit pretending. Where's your headquarters?!"
Violet opened her eyes, sneered, and said, "Hmph. Keep dreaming. I'd never betray the organization."
Tights didn't even bother replying.
BOOM!
She casually fired a ki blast, blasting a massive hole in the wall beside Violet—nearly as tall as she was.
Trembling, Violet immediately broke.
"OKAY, I'll talk! Please, just don't kill me!"
At the Red Ribbon Army Headquarters...
The once-feared organization that had terrorized Earth for years was having a really bad day.
First came word that Colonel Silver's Dragon Ball recon team had been defeated—and the ball stolen.
Then their northern stronghold, Muscle Tower, was destroyed.
When they received a photo of the attacker—
"What the hell?! A little brat?! You're telling me our proud Red Ribbon Army was defeated by a little punk?!"Commander Red roared in fury.
"This… this is unbelievable..." his second-in-command, Black, muttered.
But before they could even collect their thoughts—Another blow.
Colonel Violet, who had gone to kidnap Dr. Brief, had also been completely wiped out.
