"You're disappointed? What a joke! Who do you think you are, talking big in front of me?!"
Slug's thunderous voice shook the very air.
His face twisted with malice, he swung a colossal fist, whistling through the atmosphere with the weight and force of a meteor. But before it could land, Lynx evaded it as if he'd seen the future unfold.
"There's a special technique on Namek called ki sensing," Lynx said coolly. "One Namekian, who wandered the galaxy after the Namekian Cataclysm, developed it into a unique martial art. It allows one to predict an opponent's moves not by sight—but by feeling the flow of their ki."
"Compared to that warrior, your strength may be great… but your use of it? Pathetic."
Veins bulged on Slug's forehead.
"Shut your mouth!"
His missed strike turned into a sweeping blow—but Lynx dodged again with ease, leaping onto Slug's massive forearm and sprinting up along it.
Boom!
A clean punch smashed into Slug's face, his vision spinning from the impact.
What followed was a barrage of thunderous blows—fists and kicks raining down like a storm. In the blink of an eye, Lynx unleashed a flurry of strikes, finishing with both palms pressing together as golden ki surged between them.
"Kamehameha!"
A golden beam of ki howled through the sky, crashing into Slug's head like a roaring dragon.
When the light faded, Slug's head was gone.
"L-Lord Slug?!"
"Lord Slug!!"
Cries of despair erupted from his demon clan soldiers.
The Saiyans, in contrast, roared in celebration.
"We did it!"
"Long live His Majesty Lynx!"
As they cheered, the elite Saiyan warriors—some of the strongest on Planet Vegeta—were deep in thought. Lynx's earlier words echoed in their minds. Strength alone doesn't determine the victor.
Bardock, especially, felt a deep resonance. Lynx's insight was like a splash of cold water waking them from a long dream.
Yet while everyone assumed the battle was over, Lynx remained vigilant. He stayed in his battle stance, eyes locked on Slug's headless corpse.
Then suddenly—Slug's head burst forth from his neck stump.
Everyone froze in shock.
Even his own troops couldn't believe it. Their leader had been decapitated… yet returned from the dead.
Panting heavily, Slug's bloodshot eyes locked onto Lynx. "Damn it…! I'm stronger than you! Why… Why is this happening?!"
"I won't accept this!"
He threw his head back and screamed, then suddenly fired a ki cannon straight from his mouth.
The ki wave was massive—arguably stronger than Lynx's Kamehameha. Had it struck the ground, it might have pierced the planet's mantle.
But power is meaningless if it can't hit its target.
Before it landed, Lynx had vanished—then reappeared beneath Slug, launching skyward with his fist surging with concentrated power.
"You… How are you so fast?!"
Slug tried to guard, but it was too late.
CRACK! Agonizing pain tore through his chest as he looked down to see a gaping hole right through his torso.
"AAAGH!!"
Slug screamed in fury, his face grotesquely contorted.
Yet even as he howled, he turned toward Lynx with a wicked grin.
With a flex of his body, the massive hole in his chest closed up.
"Foolish Saiyan! You're strong—but I've already made my wish to Porunga. I possess an immortal body! No matter how many times you kill me… I won't die!"
Thanks to the Namekian Dragon Balls, Slug's regeneration was on par with the future Cell. Unlike ordinary Namekians, he didn't suffer massive stamina drain when regenerating.
Against most opponents, Slug would have been unbeatable.
Unfortunately for him… he was fighting Lynx.
"Immortal?" Lynx scoffed. "Not in front of me. So what if you can regenerate? I'll just reduce you to dust. Let's see you regenerate from nothing."
Slug blinked—then burst into laughter.
"What a joke! With that pitiful strength of yours, you think you can erase me completely? I'd love to see you try!"
"Then witness closely."
With a roar, Lynx's body suddenly expanded—his power surging dramatically.
His form now towered over two meters, surrounded by a blazing, yellow-green aura.
For the first time since returning to this world, Lynx revealed his true Super Saiyan form.
"Y-You transformed again?!"
Slug swallowed hard, his instincts screaming. For the first time, he felt fear.
And he wasn't alone. Everyone on the planet—Bardock, Hannah, and the rest—found themselves paralyzed by the sheer pressure of Lynx's ki.
"Unreal… His Majesty is already a Super Saiyan, but this… this is beyond that?" Hannah muttered. As a Super Saiyan herself, she could most clearly feel the staggering gap between them.
The other Saiyans couldn't even speak, suppressed by the overwhelming superiority of Lynx's Legendary Saiyan bloodline.
"Hmph! Just a flashy transformation!" Slug barked, though his voice betrayed his unease. "You really think a new form can kill me?!"
"Of course," Lynx replied.
And in the instant the words left his mouth, he vanished—only to reappear beside Slug's head and drive a devastating punch right between his eyes.
Slug's skull burst like a balloon.
BOOM!
His body crashed to the ground with a thunderous quake.
But moments later, the Namekian tyrant stirred again—his head fully regenerated.
"Wh-What's going on…? That strength just now…" Slug wobbled to his feet, dazed and confused.
He couldn't comprehend it. How could Lynx, who had only bulked up a bit, feel so utterly different? Could this transformation multiply his power like his own gigantification?
"You don't need to figure it out," Lynx called from above. "Just lay down—and die!"
With a powerful shout, Lynx thrust his palm downward.
The very space itself seemed to condense into a solid force. Under its crushing weight, Slug was slammed into the ground.
BOOOOOOM!!!
