A massive handprint, spanning several kilometers, was etched deep into the land where Slug had fallen.
Beneath it, Slug lay embedded in the earth, every bone in his giant body feeling shattered. Though his regenerative powers were working rapidly, the excruciating pain made him wish for death.
Descending from the sky, Lynx landed softly and grabbed hold of Slug. Despite being barely a tenth of Slug's size, he yanked the hulking giant out of the ground with ease.
"Damn you!"
With a furious roar, Slug suddenly stretched out his massive arms and grabbed Lynx tightly.
"Hahaha! You're not getting away this time! I'll crush you to pieces!"
He squeezed with all his might—only to find that his hands refused to move.
No matter how much force he applied, he couldn't crush Lynx, not even slightly.
"What… What's going on? Why won't you break?!"
"Slug," Lynx replied coolly, "You thought you were the strongest? But haven't you ever heard—there's always someone stronger."
With those words, Lynx effortlessly pried open Slug's hands. As Slug's face contorted in disbelief, Lynx hurled him into the sky.
Then, with a sudden motion, he flung two glowing green ki orbs into the air.
"Meteor Blast!" (Translator: Correct me if im wrong)
The orbs soared after Slug and suddenly expanded midair—transforming into two massive green suns.
As Slug's body collided with the blinding ki spheres, his entire form began to disintegrate.
Every cell in his body was being broken down, erased into nothingness.
"P-Please… don't kill me! Don't kill me!!"
In that moment, Slug finally felt it.
The fear of true death.
Now, he understood—Lynx hadn't been bluffing. He really did have the power to completely annihilate him.
Even with his enhanced regeneration, if every last cell of his body was vaporized simultaneously, there'd be nothing left to regenerate from.
As the darkness crept in, Slug let out a desperate, anguished scream, his twisted face filled with terror.
But just then, a voice rang out in Lynx's mind—
"Ding! Reminder to the host: You have an incomplete choice mission!"
"Capture Slug alive and bring him to Namek—without using any outside help!"
—Crap! Lynx's eyes widened as he suddenly remembered.
With a snap of his fingers, the two massive ki balls instantly dispersed. But by now, Slug was reduced to just a scorched head and a scrap of his neck.
In a blink, Lynx appeared in front of him, grabbed the severed head, and said coldly:
"Slug, do you want to die—or surrender?"
"I surrender! I surrender!!"
Lynx casually tossed the head down to the ground.
"Hannah, Bardock! Wipe out the rest of Slug's forces. I want this planet secured immediately. The Tree of Might's fruit… all of it is ours!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
At his command, Bardock and Hannah snapped out of their daze and sprang into action.
Wave after wave of ki blasts streaked through the sky.
With their average power levels in the hundreds of thousands—and with Hannah transformed into a Super Saiyan—these so-called elite soldiers of Slug, barely hitting tens of thousands in power level, were slaughtered like sheep before lions.
The enemy never stood a chance.
"Lord Slug! Save me!"
"Help! Please!!"
But their cries were soon drowned out in a sea of blinding, burning ki.
Meanwhile, though Slug's body had already regenerated, the trauma in his heart lingered.
Lynx had powered down, his terrifying ki now suppressed—but the memory of his near-death had drained all the fight from Slug's soul.
Shivering, he deactivated his giant form and dropped to one knee beside Lynx, ignoring his subordinates' cries for help.
At last, the battlefield fell silent. No more screams. No survivors.
Using their scouters, Hannah and the others had confirmed it—every last one of Slug's men had been eliminated.
"Your Majesty! The planet is clear," Bardock reported, kneeling before Lynx alongside the others.
"Good. Don't contact the Galactic Patrol just yet. Stay here and wait until the Tree of Might's fruit has fully ripened—then harvest it all."
"Understood!"
Lynx then turned to Slug.
"Slug, what do the seeds of Tree of Might look like?"
"M-My lord… from what I know, each Tree of Might bears one or two golden fruits. Those fruits… are the seeds."
Not daring to lie, Slug answered truthfully.
"You all heard that?" Lynx said. "Make sure to save every seed! I've got other business to handle. I'll be taking this one with me for a while. Collect as many fruits from the Tree of Might as you can."
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
Having issued all his orders, Lynx placed a hand on Slug's shoulder.
With Instant Transmission, the two vanished—reappearing on Planet Namek.
Surrounded by the familiar landscape, Slug froze in confusion.
"My lord, this place…"
But Lynx didn't answer right away—because a message rang out in his mind once again.
"Ding! Congratulations, host! You have completed the optional objective: capturing Slug without external aid and bringing him to Namek! Reward being issued now!"
Suddenly, a flood of new knowledge filled Lynx's mind—an ability related to psychic power.
Host: Lynx
Power Level: 6.68 million
Bloodline: Legendary Super Saiyan
Skills: Instant Transmission, Beginner Martial Genius Talent, Basic Potential Unleashing Technique, Perfect Ki Control, Beginner Telekinesis
With a slight smile, Lynx said, "This is Planet Namek. There's someone here who wants to see you."
"To see me?" Slug blinked, confused.
Lynx placed a hand on Slug's shoulder again—and in the next instant, they appeared before the Grand Elder's house.
As the familiar figure of the Grand Elder came into view, Slug's eyes went wide in shock.
"You?!"
"Slug!"
Across from them, Nail jumped into a defensive stance, startled by the sudden appearance of his ancient foe.
But he quickly noticed Lynx standing beside him.
"Mister Lynx?"
Lynx nodded and said to the Grand Elder, "I've fulfilled our agreement. Slug is here. Whether he lives or dies… that decision is yours now."
"W-What?!"
Slug's face twisted in horror.
He'd thought he'd narrowly escaped death… only to realize the execution had merely been postponed.
Turning to flee, Slug was instantly intercepted. Lynx transformed into his Legendary Super Saiyan form once more, and with a single palm strike, slammed Slug to the ground.
