As we went back towards our table Ash immediately inquired about the premium and normal level stones that Alain was talking about. He went pale upon hearing the prices. I remember being in the same situation as him when I first arrived.
We then in the crowd somehow split up. It was getting really crowded so I step out to come face to face with Gary. Huh! This was not in anime but whatever.
"Hey Regina, long time no see" He said politely. I smiled and nodded at that."It's been long has'nt it."
"Well I heard from my grandfather how he was praising you and I knew I had to battel you. How about it. A 3 vs 3 pokemon battel." Gary stated.

"Okay" I nodded at that wishing to battel myself. The mission just fueling my resolve. We went to the battel arena seperate from the main hall.
"Go Graveler"
(Elite class : lvl 30 )
Guess as Ash rival he had to have strong pokemon. Huh anime logic.
"Go Squirtle" Gary was momentarily shocked but snapped out of it.
"Graveler use rollout" Gary called out.
"Squirtle use bubble beam" The attack hit graveler but it did not stop till it hit bulbasaur.
"Are you okay Squirtle" I asked worried for my pokemon. She just nodded at that.
"Squirtle use water pulse."
"Graveler dodge and use rock throw."
"Squirtle use water gun to break the rock." She did as I told her so but the next thing I know is that Graveler used Mega punch to attack squirtle. Dang.
"Graveler use Rock throw."
"Squirtle jump over the rocks to get close to graveler and use water pulse."
Both were panting. Both were seriously injured.
"Finish with water gun." I immediately called out after squirtle landed catchig Gary by surprise. Graveler fainted. Speed training did work after all.
"return graveler, go nidorino"

"return Squirtle. Go vulpix"
"Nidorino double kick"
"vulpix dodge and use flamethrower" I called out. She dodged successfully. Nidorino was hurt.
"Nidorino use horn attack"
"vulpix use fire spin" Both attacks hit. vulpix was severly hurt but not more than nidorino.
"Nidorino quick use double kick." This time I did not get time to counter the attack. Damn it.
"Vulpix confuse ray" Nidorino was confused.
"Nidorino snap out of it." Gary tried but it was of no use.
"Vulpix use flame thrower." Nidorino fainted.
"Return nidorino, go Raticate."
"Return Vulpix go nidoran(female)"
(Raticate : pseudo champion class lvl 35)
Damn. This is going to be tough.
"Nidoran double kick"
"Raticate dodge and hyper fang" Nidoran was hurt.
"Poision sting nidoran" Raticate was hit by it.But it could still go on.
"Raticate use shadow ball." Nidoran was again hit by one of Raticate's attack. DAMN it is fast.
"Nidoran use poision fang." I called out.
"Raticate quick attack." Both attacks hit each other. But guess luck was on my side. Raticate was poisioned. Gary was frantically searching for something. I realized that he did not have a antidote.
"I forfeit the match" Gary said frantically while picking raticate up preparing to run.
"Wait gary, here's the antidote" I said handing him. He immediately gave it to raticate. After confirming he was okay he sighed in relief. Now that I remember in one manga Blue's raticate died of poision and he became cold from then on. I shivered at the thought.
It was not shown in anime that Gary faced any such losses but thus world is a combination of both manga and anime. Therefore is quite different that either of them.
Gary was trembling a bit. I sat next to him.
"It's okay Gary. Your Raticate is okay. " I assured him. He turned around to hug me.
"I almost lost him. I was confident that I can't do anything wrong, but here I was almost about to lose him." He said while trembling.
"It's okay Gary. You made a mistake. Just ensure that you don't repeat it again. And about the overconfident part..." Gary stared at me
"You were a bit overconfident, I have to say but your journey has just begun. You can change. Be the better version of yourself. Instead of cocky you can be cunning." I said.
"Everyone just treats me like Professor Oak grandson. No one treats me as Gary." He muttered.
"It's okay. Like I said cunning instead of cocky. Try to turn this situation in your favor instead. Now how you do it depends totally upto you. And once you gain success I doubt anyone would treat you as Prof Oak grandson." I said while smiling. His eyes widen at that. He did not say anything but smiled and thanked me. We stayed with each other for a while longer before proceeding back to the main hall.
Inside I spotted my friends and I was going to go after them when suddenly a backout took place and the next thing we know is that we are surrounded by team rocket grunts. Then there were team rocket who chanted their dialogue like some kind of prayer. Idiots.
"Now hand over you pokemons" Jessie said.
"Wow. If team rocket is filled by idiots like you then what's there to be scared of." I said.
"You are not taking anybody's pokemon." Alain said.
"We won't let you take them, they are our friends. "Ash said.
"We train them day and night. You are not taking our hard work, our friends that easily." Gary said.
Everyone began to agree on it. Everyone sent out their Pokemon.
I sent out all my Pokemon for battel. So did all my other friends. I have to say my Pokemon got a lot of training experience.
"Combusken use flame thrower, squirtle use bubble beam, Cleffa use dizzy punch, bulbasaur use leaf storm, Vulpix use flamethrower, nidoran use poision sting." I called out. We all were fighting like heck and man was it difficult. We won though as by number we were overpowered. They all escaped. Then only my cleffa began to evolve. I got a cleffairy. Guess our friendship maxed out. I was very happy but it was short lived as suddenly the boat began to sink. Whoa it reminds me of Titanic movie from my previous world.
Ash was busy exchanging his butterfree back. We all were about to leave when just like in anime his pokeball slipped from his hand and we missed the chance to escape the ship as we all fainted. Only this time me, Alain, Mairin and gary were also there.
