GARBERVILLE ~~ RINA'S MANSION
Rina was sitting on the couch holding a glass of blood in her hand.
She smiled and let out a dark laughter.
"That stupid werewolf must be dead by now" She said and laughed again.
The door went open and before she could turn, the vampire sped to her holding her up by the neck. The glass she was holding fell to the ground.
"L..Lucian" She stuttered as she felt air leaving her lungs.
"How dare you order the people with my name to kill Ava?!!" He roared.
"She's going to kill you Lucian, don't you get that?!!" She yelled and he threw her to the wall but she did a flip standing straight.
"You and I know that when she finds out what your past self did, she'll kill you. She's thé fàted lunã Lucian!!" Rina yelled and he stared at her with an unreadable expression.
"I can handle myself, Rina"
"You can't!!" She yelled.
"And who the hell are you to say that?!!!" He snapped.
"Your friend. We've been friends since childhood, Lucian. I know you better than anyone"
"Then I guess you don't know me" He said and her eyes widened feeling hurt.
"If you try this stunt again, I will kill you Rina. I'm letting you go this time around but the next time you do something stupid like this, I'mma end you." He said and before she could reply he sped out of there.
"Arghhhhh!!" She yelled and kicked the table angrily.
ETERNAL SHADOWS ~~ CASTLE
"Ouch" Ava winced as a rock hit her forehead.
"How do you expect me to dodge all the rocks you throw at me very quickly?" She asked, rubbing her forehead.
"You are....." She stopped talking, making Ava arch a brow.
"You are meant to be fast. The werewolves I knew were faster than you. Try to be like them" Gorya said instead and Ava scoffed.
"That's their business. I'm me...Ava Delmundo. I'm not them, Gorya" She said walking out of the garden.
She went to the clean river at a particular side of the castle and she sat staring intently at the river.
"I'm not them, why do they have to compare me with other werewolves?" She muttered, staring at herself in the water.
She inhaled and closed her eyes before opening them. She saw a strange woman as her reflection instead and she gasped moving backwards.
"The fuck" She cussed and moved close to the water again staring at herself but this time it was her reflection.
"I must be hallucinating" She muttered before backing the castle.
She hugged her knees to her chest as she thought of her parents.
"I thought you were supposed to be training" Lucian asked and she looked up at him before scoffing.
"I don't want to train anymore" She said looking back at her toes.
"Then go inside" He said and she looked up at him.
"I'm not going into that boring house. You get to go out, why can't I?" She said and asked.
"You want to go out?" He asked and she nodded smiling.
"Then train hard, if I see you're doing well, we'll explore tonight" He said and her eyes widened.
She stood and ran back to the garden. She met Gorya sitting on the grass with a small smile on her face. When she saw Ava, she stood up.
"You're back?"
"Yeah. Bring it on" She said with a smile.
Gorya picked up a lot of rocks and then she began throwing them at her speedily.
Ava kept dodging, she did a backflip dodging the last one.
"You did it" Gorya said and Ava smiled happily.
"Now try to dodge my attacks" Gorya said and Ava's eyes widened.
"You say?" She asked shockingly but Gorya already sped to her back, slashing her.
She winced, staggering forward. She turned back and glared at Gorya.
"Your ears are supposed to be your sharpest organ. Utilize that instead of focusing on only seeing me" Gorya said and started super speeding.
Ava inhaled and exhaled before focusing on her ear. She felt someone behind her and she squatted dodging the attack before punching Gorya hard.
Gorya staggered and smiled.
"You're learning quickly" She said with a smile.
"Thanks to you" Ava said and smiled.
"Go and rest, we'll continue tomorrow" Gorya said and Ava smiled.
"Thanks again" She said and Gorya super sped back to the kitchen.
Sensing someone behind her, Ava turned immediately.
"Did I do well?" She asked brightly.
"Yes. Tonight we'll explore" He said with a straight face and sped off.
"Yesssss!!" She screamed doing two back flips.
She ran back into the house and went to the room. Lucian wasn't in the room so she went to the study room. She met him reading a book and she smiled going further into the room..
She went to the shelf and picked up a book titled "Opposite Attraction by Authoress Vera", she smiled and sat on the chair opposite him opening the book.
She began reading.
Stealthily, she took a sneak peek of his face and she smiled. His perfect jawline, his pointed nose and then his lips.
'He's an enemy. Stop admiring him!' Her subconscious mind snapped and she scoffed facing the book she was reading.
"The wedding is happening in two days" He said and her eyes widened.
"What?!!" She yelled and he looked up at her.
"You agreed to it"
"I thought you just wanted to lie to your mum and now that she's gone, it won't even matter" She said,
"You signed the document with your blood Ava. There's no way out, plus, we need a queen" He said and she stood.
"Someone else can be the queen" She said and he looked at his book.
"No one has that quality" he said and her eyes widened smiling a little before frowning.
"This is so not fair" She said and left the room.
He shook his head and looked at the history book he was reading. It was about a vampire and a werewolf who fell in love. Their story didn't end well and then he closed the book having a thought running through his mind.
"Love" He mumbled.
