REDWOOD FOREST ~~ CALIFORNIA
Luciana frowned deeply.
"This is all your fault!!" She yelled and his eyes widened.
"I know she loved him which was not right but she is your daughter, you weren't supposed to just banish her like that.!!" She yelled and he pinched his brows.
"Look, I'm sorry okay but rules are rules! If she breaks the rules, I'm supposed to punish her for it" He said.
"They're many ways to punish her for it Lucas. Many!!" She yelled again and he groaned.
"What is done is done, all I need to do now is to find her and bring her back to the clan where she'd be safe." He said.
"Good luck finding her" She said and left the room angrily.
He scoffed before sitting on his bed.
'I shouldn't have banished her' He mumbled looking at the quarter moon sitting on the sky.
NIGHT ~~
Ava was laying on the bed crying gently.
"I can't get married to him, I don't love him" She said and sniffed.
The door opened and she covered her face with the duvet.
"Are we exploring or not?" He asked and she ignored him.
"Get dressed Ava" He said but she ignored him
He sped to her and carried her from the bed.
"Let me go!" She struggled yelling but he was too strong
He sped out of the castle and out of Garberville. He stopped in front of the city and she pushed him off.
"What's your problem?" She asked angrily.
"You don't want to marry me, so I'm giving you the freedom you're looking for" He said and her eyes widened.
"I'll leave so you'd go back to your clan but don't return to the castle or Garberville" He said.
"This is not exploring" She said wiping her tears.
"Go to your clan Ava" He said and she bit her lips.
"I....."
'I get your father loves you and all but why would he banish you just because you chose to love a human?? You want to go back even after he threatened that he'd kill you if you come back, huh Ava?!' Her subconscious mind asked and she started crying again.
"You're so annoying" She said to him before sniffing.
"I don't want to go back. A deal is a deal" She muttered wiping her tears.
He looked at her for a while.
"You're sure about this?" He asked and she nodded with a smile.
"Your choice" He mumbled.
"Now that we're in the city, why don't we do the exploring?" She asked and he frowned.
"No. Humans can be very overwhelming and you know it" He said.
"They won't know. Please" She clasped her palms together pleading and he just ignored her walking into the city.
She frowned and ran to him jumping on his back. He stood on his spot before giving her a glare.
"What are you doing?" He asked and she chuckled.
"Since you want to act rude then I'm acting stubborn" She said.
He rolled his eyes and kept moving. She rested her jaw on his shoulder looking at the side view of his face.
"Why are you always frowning?" She asked.
"I've seen no reason to smile"
"What about Rina? She's your friend and all"
"She is but she can't make me smile anymore." He said.
"What....."
"Stop asking me that question!" He snapped and she pouted.
He used his side eye to look at her and she giggled. He scoffed looking around, people were walking about, some were still selling things.
"I have a house here, do you wanna see?" She asked.
"No" He said and walked past some few guys.
Ava looked back slowly and saw them staring at her. She faced front immediately.
"I don't like the stares they're giving us" She whispered.
She felt them following them and she began panicking.
"Lucian" She whispered his name.
"Chill would you?!" He snapped and she sighed before relaxing.
They walked out of the busy street and more boys appeared in their front with different weapons.
"Is she the one?" A guy asked and the one beside him nodded.
"According to boss, that's her" He said and they smirked before running to them.
"You ready to fight them?" He asked and she gasped.
"You wanna leave me alone to fight them?" She asked.
"Yeah. You can do it" He said and she exhaled before jumping down from his back.
He sped to a far away distance and they laughed.
"He left you"
"Killing you would be easy"
"Don't underestimate her. Boss said we shouldn't underestimate her"
"Would y'all stop yapping and come after me?" Ava asked and they all ran after her at once.
She began fist fighting with them. She felt a metal coming towards her and she did a back flip landing behind him so he stabbed his fellow guy.
"Shit!"
"I'm so sorry" Ava said and the rest faced her.
They launched at her again and she fought them effortlessly.
A gun shot was fired and she dodged before giving him a kick to the jaw. She punched one on the jaw and she kneed some on their groin.
It was left with only one guy, the one who said they shouldn't underestimate her.
"Y'all are monsters, killing humans for joy" He said.
"We only kill if we're being attacked" She said and he laughed.
"I wish" He said and ran towards her trying to tear her with his knife. She dodged and kicked the knife out of his hand.
He tried punching her but she caught his hand and smirked catching his other hand.
"Nice try" She said and headbutted him making him stagger back.
'Let me handle it' Her subconscious said and took over.
Her eyes turned golden and she punched him hard on the face.
She kicked him and he flew back. He stood and coughed out blood. She rushed fast to him and held him up by the neck.
"Who are you?!!" She growled.
"I won't tell you" He said trying to hide the fear in his voice and she smirked opening her mouth, her canines came to view and he hiccuped.
'Is she going to bite me?' He thought and she heard him.
"Maybe" She said and his eyes widened. She looked intently into his eyes trying to read his mind.
"You're working for someone. Deliver a message to him, tell him I'm coming for him. He will die just like his father!" She growled and his eyes widened.
She threw him away and he ran off. He kept falling at different intervals but he didn't stop running.
He was scared, fucking scared!!
She went back to normal and she knelt on the ground tears filling her eyes.
Lucian smiled. When he realized he was still smiling, he frowned before speeding to her front but she didn't look up.
"You did well" He said and she sniffed.
He pulled her up by the arm and she stared at him.
"I loved him and I really hoped he would still love me after finding out I'm not human but he didn't" She said tears rolling down her eyes.
He exhaled before pulling her into a warm hug and she wept on his chest.
He patted her hair and muttered.
"Trusting humans is bullshit Ava"
