Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Misunderstanding

"Xiao Gang, you…"

Flender furrowed his brow, just about to say something to mediate, but was suddenly struck in the face by a pillow thrown by Yu Xiaogang.

"Shut up!"

Yu Xiaogang's face twisted in rage, his heart full of resentment. "Flender, you damned bastard, are you looking down on me too now?"

"A dignified Soul Douluo, and you couldn't even take a single blow from that man. Useless!"

"You're useless too! No—worse than useless, you're just a filthy woman, pretending to resist a little, then raising your ass to take it willingly! Isn't that right?"

"Yu Xiaogang!"

Liu Erlong couldn't take it anymore. She stormed up, grabbed his collar, and slapped him hard across his not-so-handsome face.

"Heh, slut, deep down you're no different from Bibi Dong. In the end, neither of you has ever respected me, this waste with a mutated spirit!"

Blood trickled from the corner of Yu Xiaogang's mouth as he coldly stared at Liu Erlong, his voice dripping with bitterness. He blamed everything on his cursed, mutated spirit. If only he had a powerful martial spirit…

"You still think your weakness is because of your mutated martial spirit?"

Liu Erlong paused slightly, her face filled with disappointment as she let go of him.

"Listen clearly. Your weakness has nothing to do with your spirit. It's simply because you, Yu Xiaogang, are a pathetic coward."

"You—!"

Yu Xiaogang's expression twisted further, fury surging up inside him.

"From now on, we don't ever need to see each other again."

Liu Erlong's eyes were filled with disappointment as she turned and walked out of the room. She had truly seen through him.

Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Grand Hall

"Sect Master! We've found a lead on that person!"

A sect disciple rushed in to report.

"Oh? Speak!"

Ning Fengzhi's eyes lit up, immediately focusing his attention.

"That man was seen at Moon Pavilion. According to the manager herself, he acted wildly there and insulted Lady Tang Yuehua, which caused the Pavilion guards to try to expel him. But just as they were about to act, something strange happened."

"What strange thing?"

Ning Fengzhi's brow furrowed as he slowly twirled his cane, his eyes narrowing.

"Just as they moved to subdue him… that Xiao Lin suddenly disappeared without a trace!"

"Vanished? He disappeared again? This man is truly unpredictable. That's going to make things difficult."

Ning Fengzhi found it troublesome. A man who could vanish like a ghost—how could they ever catch him?

"Enough. You're dismissed."

"Yes, sir."

The disciple bowed respectfully and left the hall.

"Daddy, I have an idea."

At that moment, Ning Rongrong walked in, having been eavesdropping just outside.

"Rongrong, what's your idea?"

Ning Fengzhi's stern face softened into a doting smile upon seeing his precious daughter, the pride of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

"From that guy's actions, it's obvious he has a huge weakness for beautiful women. Daddy, how do you think I look?"

Ning Rongrong asked mysteriously, taking a few steps forward and casually twirling a lock of her light brown hair.

"My daughter, of course, is absolutely beautiful."

Ning Fengzhi chuckled. His Rongrong had grown even more stunning over the past two years.

"Then it's settled. I just need to dress up a bit and stroll around near the Moon Pavilion. Do you think that scoundrel won't take the bait?"

Ning Rongrong's eyes sparkled with confidence. Since that man was such a lecher, she had plenty of ways to deal with him. She might not have Xiao Wu's Eight-Stage Throw, but her arsenal of hidden weapons would surely make him suffer.

"No way. It's too dangerous."

Ning Fengzhi immediately rejected the idea. Rongrong was their sect's only heir with the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda spirit—he couldn't let anything happen to her.

"Daddy, what's there to worry about? I won't be alone. Grandpa Bone and Grandpa Sword can hide nearby. Once I give the signal, they can strike immediately and capture him."

"Well…"

Ning Fengzhi still frowned, deeply concerned. The opponent was likely as strong as a Titled Douluo. What if he grew desperate and struck back?

"Daddy, I also have hidden weapons that can catch him off guard. I can protect myself."

Ning Rongrong clung to her father's arm, acting spoiled, but her eyes revealed a steely determination. She was dead set on capturing that man. How dare he humiliate her teachers at Shrek Academy? That was unforgivable.

"Fine. But you must be fully prepared. I won't allow anything to happen to you."

"Don't worry, I'll be careful."

Ning Rongrong was brimming with confidence. Back then, she'd managed to hit Grandpa Sword with her hidden weapons when he wasn't guarding—she was sure she could deal with a fool distracted by her beauty.

Moon Pavilion

At the Moon Pavilion, Xiao Lin lay lazily in Tang Yuehua's private quarters, enjoying the mature beauty's service.

"You're now the most wanted criminal in all of Heaven Dou Empire, yet you still dare to hide here? Aren't you afraid of getting caught?"

Tang Yuehua sat gracefully on the sofa, frowning as she looked at the smug young man beside her. Soldiers were patrolling outside, and if he was found, she'd be implicated too.

"If I were afraid, I wouldn't have come. Pfft."

Xiao Lin replied nonchalantly, spitting out a grape seed.

"But what about me? If you're caught, my Moon Pavilion won't survive this."

Tang Yuehua probed cautiously. Her influence might be enough to intimidate the empire's officials, but with the Three Great Sects, Shrek Academy, and possibly even the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan getting involved, she couldn't handle that kind of pressure.

"If they come, I'll just kill them. If you don't want to see blood, I'll take you away."

Xiao Lin's tone softened when speaking to Tang Yuehua—he was quite fond of this gentle and obedient mature woman.

"Leave?"

Tang Yuehua's eyes flickered. She'd been bound to the Clear Sky Sect her entire life… Where else could she go?

"I'll take you to meet some lifelong sisters. How about that?"

Xiao Lin's eyes glimmered playfully, teasing her with a grin.

"Lifelong sisters?"

Tang Yuehua looked suspicious. That didn't sound very proper.

"If the day comes when you can take me away… everything will be yours to decide."

"Mm, good. That day will come soon."

Xiao Lin nodded in satisfaction. Her words were music to his ears—far better than certain others from the night before.

[Target (Tang Yuehua) Progress: 63%]

"Let go of my hand…"

Tang Yuehua's cheeks turned pink as she protested softly. This rascal wasn't even behaving while eating; why was he biting her fingertips too?

"Hehe, I have a gift for you."

Xiao Lin mischievously licked her soft fingers, then suddenly pulled her into his arms.

"I don't want it… I'm still recovering…"

Tang Yuehua's voice became shy and weak, her gaze darting away. With her low spirit power and weak physique, she couldn't handle endless torment.

"Wrong. You're thinking dirty again."

Xiao Lin sighed inwardly. This gentle beauty's mind was too impure now.

Looking at Tang Yuehua closing her eyes and bracing herself as if resigned to her fate, he couldn't help but flick her forehead.

"Open your mouth."

"So… it's finally happening?"

Tang Yuehua sighed inwardly and slowly parted her red lips.

"Hmm?"

She felt the familiar heat… with a slightly metallic taste. Wait, was that…?

Her eyes shot open in shock. Right before her was Xiao Lin's fingertip, with a drop of crimson blood!
